Sera was distracted for the remainder of the day. 


Although she spent countless hours with Morvil, attempting to unleash any small bit of magic she might tap into, it was useless. But she now felt the constant buzzing of untapped power under her skin. She just couldn’t bring it out. It was frustrating, but she wouldn’t give up. Morvil assured her she was getting close. 


Sera barely heard him, her mind still focused on Zane and their chaotic morning. Every time she remembered the feel of his hot mouth against hers, she completely lost her train of thought. Morvil inspected her with a knowing eye that brought a blush rising to her face. 


“I think that’s enough for today,” he surmised, his gaze following a small yellow bird who circled above the trees.
