Eternal Demon Bank

The members of the Rose Foxes sat in the guild building, even Noah had joined in.

"We'll be going to check out the Eternal Demon Bank, is everyone going?" Leona asked.

They nodded.

The Eternal Demon Bank was the new building that opened with the mana wave. It was given by the Demon race. The guild members had gotten together for a meeting in the morning, but decided to go and see the new building first.

The group walked into the bank. The building from the outside was a modern bank. A large sign above with Eternal Demon Bank in red, under it, were glass doors. The inside oozed money as there were gold decorations all around. A large fountain in the middle with frogs swimming.

Alice looked at the counters and saw how they were filled, it was just a normal bank like that on earth. It was run by puppets just like any other special building. "Let's see what they offer." Alice distracted, didn't notice Noah had stopped behind her.

Noah stared at the dark red holographic screen in front of him.

[You are have been invited to a private meeting by a bank official, do you accept?]

Looking around it was obvious only he had gotten the message, after making sure it wasn't dangerous through the system, he accepted. His body teleported.

...

Noah appeared in a luxurious room, elegant sofas made of jewels, and a table made of jade. Tea was set on the table in gorgeous china. A cup filled with tea steamed out, opposite to it a puppet sat.

"Please come sit, Noah Sinfero, I've asked but are you fine with tea?" The puppet spoke with a smooth voice, pleasant to the ears.

Sitting down Noah answered, "I'm fine." He picked the cup up and stared at the tea wondering if he should drink it.

"You must be curious why I invited you here. Wait for a second, I'm sure you'll feel more comfortable speaking to me directly than this puppet."

The puppet transformed into a handsome demon. Two dark red horns curved back on his head, his ears pointed. He had dark scales around his eye completely black eyes. Other than that he looked similar to humans, He wore a suit and tie. His hair combed back as he wore gold-rimmed glasses. He had expensive accessories you'd see on someone on earth, like a gold watch and ring.

"Why do you have to speak to me through a puppet? Can you not come here?" Noah asked. The Elves and dwarfs had entered but he didn't see any other race.

"Good observation, the top five races aren't allowed to enter any of the Protected Zones, even then only allies to the races can enter to help. Sadly, the demons aren't allies to humans."

"Back to the topic, the Eternal Demon Bank has found that you currently possess more than ten thousand gold. We would like to invite you to join us as a VIP member. You'll gain the Demon Black card and have access to a lot more resources, all you need to do is sign here."

A scroll formed in front of Noah, it then unravelled to show a page full of writing and a line on its bottom right for him to sign. A black quill floated next to it, ready.

"Didn't you say the demons aren't allied with the humans, why are you helping me?" Noah read through the contract and saw that it was a little risking but he would benefit from it overall.

"The demons aren't allied with anyone. We're only here to make money. Any human who can reach more than 10,000 gold at this stage will benefit us greatly in the future. Don't worry we have strict rules, all contracts have to be sealed away to make sure your information is kept safe. All customers are valuable to us and are treated with the utmost care," The demon answered.

"The demon black card what does it do?"

"It's a special item the demons have created that lets you store all types of money into it. Think of it as an extremely large spatial pouch just for money. You can swipe it in most places or just take the gold out normally. The card is universal, in a society where there are hundreds of thousands of currencies the card will work everywhere, it even has a currency exchange feature in it.

Through it, you can access your private safe kept here in the Eternal Demon Bank. We suggest you keep your valuables with us, the Dragon Wing Auction House is also reliable but there have been instances of having items stolen. Ours is made for security and no one can access them other than the cardholder. If you add a will, someone else can inherit all the items in the safe after your death rather than having the system seize them in your inventory.

It also has the feature of converting items into money. If you are ever short on cash you can immediately sell items using the card. The Eternal Bank will buy anything immediately just know the price will be at market or lower.

Your Black Demon card is currently tier 1, as it rises you'll unlock more features."

Noah stared at the contract in front of him. He held the quill and signed it.

The demon smiled, "Pleasure to have you join us." The demon disappeared and it turned back into a puppet.

The scroll turned to black smoke and entered his right thumb. On his thumb, a small black horned demon head formed and disappeared.

Noah snapped his finger and a card appeared. A thin black card similar to credit cards on earth. It was made of some type of obsidian like stone. He thought of it and an inventory screen opened.

[Move all money here?]

Noah agreed. It suddenly filled up and two squares appeared, 21,383 gold and two B Class Mana crystals.

He had earned a lot of gold from the B Class dungeons and selling items. For the last few days, he had been searching for S Class monsters so he wasn't earning as much anymore, only earning from the items he had put up on the auction house.

As for why he had signed the contract, it was simple, the benefits were worth it. They might not be great here in the Protected Zone, however, they would be indispensable outside in the actual Eternal Battlefield. As for risks, He lost a little privacy as the card could track his location and if his money stored in went lower than 5,000 gold he would lose the card.

Tracking wasn't that big of a deal. It was no different than the government tracking his phone. The demons would only use this feature to find him if he broke one of their rules. If anything it was his prejudice against hearing demon race that made him hesitate. Signing a contract with a demon, didn't have a nice ring to it.

He decided not to think about it too much, there was no difference between the demon race to any of the other races in the Eternal Battlefield. He had trusted all the other races till now, he had no reason to not trust the demons.

[You are being teleported back]

Noah appeared again at the entrance. He took out his communication crystal to call Alice when he noticed that Alice was continuing to walk from the same place when he had left. It wasn't just her, it was all the other Rose Foxes guild members as well as everyone in the bank.

'Time didn't pass when I was in the room, I couldn't sense out of it with Spatial Sense either. I wonder where it was located." Noah then walked behind Alice to the counter.

[Welcome to the Eternal Demon Bank, would you like to issue a Silver Demon card for 10 gold?] The puppet asked.

"What does it do?" Alice asked.

[It will let you store up to ten thousand gold in it, the card is small and easy to carry around reducing the space needed for the gold.]

Alice thought about it, carrying gold was annoying especially after it reached a thousand. Taking out a sack full wasn't convenient. She accepted. A silver card appeared in front of her. She held it and liked its design.

She then turned to Noah, "I'm fine without it." He said. Alice nodded and they joined back with the others.

Leona as a guild leader had been given the option to loan money from the bank, other than that everyone else got only the Silver Demon Card. They then left going back to their schedules.
