Chapter 6 The second Trap
After the incident with the Trap Chest she started to move onward again to find a way out o the Labyrinth caves. She was here now for around an entire hour and a half and there was no end in sight.
After Yukikaze moved through the cave for another hour she entered another larger part of the cave.
` Please another Monster that can give me another good skill. ` Yukikaze silently hoped. When she looked around she was an some kind of large room with a lot of stalagmites and Stalactites. She wasn`t able to see any of the other walls meaning that this room is a lot larger than the one with the trap chest. In one direction was a barely noticeable shimmer of light.
`Should I go there or follow the fresh air towards the exit. The fresh Air will be still there afterwards but what if that light is also a trap from this large labyrinth cave. But won`t get stronger either if I don`t take any risks. And even though the Trap Chest was a Trap it made me stronger in the end and with (Defuser Lv.1) I can at least identify the trap. Well then it is decided. ` With these last thoughts she started heading toward the light.
Yukikaze stopped moving and activated ( Camouflage Lv.2) first to make it harder to detect her. But before reaching were the light came from a message appeared.

Yukikaze noticed that she was immediately able to see her surroundings even better. One of the things she noticed was that the light had a shade of orange. Interested she looked around a stalagmite to see what emitted that strange light.
She was surprise to see that it was another Beast core sitting on a rock with nothing around. But she immediately detected a trap with her (Defuser Lv.1) skill. So she broke the tip of the stalagmite off and threw it at the Beast core. But she missed and hit the small rock below.
` Dammit. ` She thought angrily and wanted to get another stone but a loud rumble made her look back to the Beast core and what she saw made her use appraisal almost automatically.

The small rock under the Beast core is the Beast the Beast core is part of. Even though it would only go to the hips of a human it was still twice the size of the fox form of Yukikaze causing her to scoff. Without wanting to give it a bit to rest she activated (Dash Lv.3) and (Jump Lv.2) while deactivating (Camouflage Lv.2) to safe on stamina. While jumping she gave a quick glance over her HP and Stamina.

The hole time were she used (Camouflage Lv.2) cost her quiet a lot of Stamina.
Yukikaze used (Claw Lv.3) to attack the right arm of the Small Stone Golem .She managed to hit with both of her paws and caused small scratches.

The Small Stone Golem retaliated by throwing it`s right arm at Yukikaze. Yukikaze managed to dodge barely with a combination of both (Dash Lv.3) and (Jump Lv.2).
Yukikaze launched herself at it again and used both (Claw Lv.3) and (Bite Lv.3). She missed with one of her paws but both of her other two attacks hit.

The Golem pulled a new arm out of the ground and attached it where it`s former right arm was while throwing it`s left arm at Yukikaze. She again successfully doges by using both (Dash Lv.3) and (Jump Lv.2). Yukikaze is only fast enough in dodging the attacks from the Small Stone Golem because she uses both (Dash Lv.3) and (Jump Lv.2) at the same time. But using two skills at the same time has a side effect that is going to be a problem for Yukikaze.
` If it continues like this I will run out of Stamina before I can kill it. ` Yukikaze thought while looking at her HP and Stamina.

` But I have saved Statpoints for this situation. I have exactly 38 Statpoints. If I put 15 in both Strength and Endurance I should be able to win this fight. `
With this she quickly put 15 Statpoints into Strength putting it from 24 to 39 and 15 Statpoints into Endurance putting it from 20 to 35. With this she hoped to be able to raise both her strength and stamina. But it didn`t went as planned. While her attack strength rises immediately her Endurance only increased the limit of stamina she can have not the stamina she has right now.

` Well the attack strength will have to do then. `
Yukikaze attacked the Small Stone Golem again but this time the Small Stone Golem was prepared and was able to block the (Bite Lv.3) attack with a punch to Yukikazes face with his left arm.

But Yukikazes (Claw Lv.3) attacks managed to hit and cause quiet a bit of damage.

The stronger attack from Yukikaze surprised the Small Stone Golem since usually the attack strength of a beast doesn`t rises during combat for no apparent reason leaving the Small Stone Golem confused.
Yukikaze spit a bit of blood out since that punch from the Small Stone Golem hurt her quiet bad and she knew she wouldn`t survive another hit. With that in mind she immediately attacked the still surprised Small Stone Golem with (Claw Lv.3) and (Bite Lv.3) causing a lot of damage.

The Small Stone Golem immediately retaliated with it`s right arm while attaching a new left arm to himself. Yukikaze again doges unscathed and attacked again.

`I almost killed that stupid rock. Two more attack runs and I should have another Beast core. `
Yukikaze this time cut off an entire arm of the Small Stone Golem leaving it unable to retaliate causing it to attach two new arms to itself. Yukikaze used this time window to attack again with full force.

Before the Small Stone Golem could retaliate Yukikaze quickly drank a (Healing Potion) from her System Inventory to completely heal herself.

Why did she used one of her precious potions like that. Well because the Small Stone Golem knows it`s going to die with the next attack and it has both arms. Yukikaze can dodge one arm barely. Two arms guarantee that she is going to get hit.
Yukikazes prediction was correct since the Small Stone Golem launched both of it`s arms at Yukikaze in a last ditch effort to kill her. One of them hit her even though she used both (Dash Lv.3) and (Jump Lv.2).

Yukikaze ignored the pain and made her last attack on the now armless Small Stone Golem.

`Finally I did ... ` Yukikaze was interrupted by blood that she coughed out of her mouth.
Yukikaze looked at her HP and Stamina.

Yukikaze quickly stored the Beast core inside her system inventory and rested a bit before she would continue her way outside of this cave.
