Chapter 13

Normal POV

"We're here!" said Hunter as he parked in front of the campsite.

Jenny, Penny, Vincent were already getting up to dismount the bus while Agatha was asleep. As Gideon and Emma were about to get off the bus, they noticed that Agatha wasn't out of the bus. They both turned and saw that Agatha was sleeping peacefully in her seat, "How can someone sleep in the bus? The seats are so uncomfortable." said Emma. "Maybe the motion of the bus made her sleepy." said Gideon as he went over to the sleeping Agatha and gently placed his hand on her shoulder, gently shaking her.

"Hey...Hey Aggie, time to wake up. We're at the campsite." he whispered, Agatha slowly opened her eyes and wiped her eyes sleepily. She looked out the window, "What time is it?" she asked as she yawned, "Time for us to get off the bus." said Gideon as Agatha stood up from her seat. She stretched before picking up her suitcase, Gideon moved out of Agatha's way as she walked past him. "Thanks for waking me, Gideon." she said, sleepily. "No prob, Aggs." said Gideon

As Agatha walked out towards the bus door, she slightly tripped on her own foot before bumping into a seat. Emma snorted "Wake up, Gray. We have places to be." she said, leaving the bus. Hunter sighed as he got up from his seat, "I have to go make a phone call, get out the bus whenever you can." he said as he left the bus. Gideon helped Agatha keep balance as she walked towards the door, "Sorry for wasting your time..." Agatha mumbled. "Hey, don't worry about it. I'm sure you're not fully awake yet, it happens to the best of us." Gideon said, kindly as he helped the half asleep Agatha out of the bus.

As Gideon and Agatha walked out of the bus, they were greeted by a mid-20 year old woman.

"WELCOME TO CAMP SOLITAIRE! WE'RE SO HAPPY TO HAVE YOU?!" she shouted, joyfully.

Agatha screamed from the woman's excited outburst. "That's the spirit! That's the kind of energy we're looking for?" the woman said as she smiled, "I'm sorry ma'am but you kind of scared her. She was half asleep up until now, but I guess she's fully away now." said Gideon, chuckling. The woman gasped and looked at Agatha, who was rubbing her eyes, "I am so sorry. I didn't know you were-" she said.

"No no. It's fine, I need to wake up. I should thank you if anything." said Agatha with a smile.

"Okay then... Well everyone is waiting in the mess hall. We're about to start the introduction, try to keep up!" the woman said before she dashed towards the mess hall cabin while Agatha and Gideon followed behind her.

When Agatha, Gideon and the woman walked in the building, they saw children sitting and staff standing. "I got the remaining staff members, we can start now." the woman said as she went over and stood next to the other staff while Agatha and Gideon stood next to the summer youth staff members.

"Now that everyone's here, we can start the introduction. Many of you campers know who I am because I see some familiar faces from last year and new faces this year. My name is Ace Peterson. For those who don't know who I am, you can call me Camp Master Peterson." said Ace as he pointed at the woman that arrived late.

"Hello campers, My name is Grace Pease. You can call me Camp Master Pease and I'm so excited about our time together this year!" Grace said cheerfully as she pointed at the mid30s woman with a bun, "Your turn, Fancy Nancy!" she said with a smile.

The woman named 'Nancy' sighed, "As Camp Master Pease said, my name is Nancy Bloodworth and I look forward to getting to know you guys and gals." she said as she waved.

An early 50s year old man stood in front of the children and smiled, "It's good to meet new people here. I'm Buck Rowntree and I'm the quarter master of this camp. I hope we can get along this year different from last year's incidents..." he said as he presented the summer youth workers, "Can you please introduce yourselves to the kids, please?" he asked.

"Emma Marx."

"Vincent Goodman."

"Jenny Cleur"

"Penny Cleur"

"Agatha Gray."

"Gideon Dain."

A boy raised his hand, "I have a question, what are we going to do for this year's camping experience?"

"That's a great question, Logan. This year's theme is Nature Adventure!" Grace said, cheerfully.

"We'll be taking time away from technology and enjoying the outside world of nature." commented Ace.

Jenny raised her hand, "If I'm not mistaken, there's been changes on the bunkers, correct?" she asked, "That's right, Jenny Denny. Each bunker now has outlets and TV~" Grace answered, cheerfully.

"Jenny...Denny? Are you just going to rhyme everyone's name as a nickname?" Agatha asked as she raised her hand, "That's kind of my thing, Little Lady Agatha Tagatha." Grace answered with a smile.

'I hope that doesn't stick...' Agatha thought.

"For the time being since this is the first day of camp, why don't we relax and get to know each other? Logan since you spoke first, why not introduce yourself." asked Nacy. The boy named Logan stood up from his seat, "Hi, my name is Logan Bithell and I am 12 years old. I like art and watching movies." Logan said as he sat back down.

"It's nice seeing you again, Logan. Who's next?" Ace asked as he looked at everyone.

Unlike Logan, the other kids didn't seem all that interested in introducing themselves. "Anyone?" asked Ace, none of the kids spoke up and just stared at Ace. "Well, if we're doing an introduction here. We might want to do it in style!" said Gideon as he took out his phone, "I know you kids have cellphones. Take them out and we'll get this intro started." he said as he tapped his screen.

The kids hesitantly started taking out their phones.

"Let's make this interesting and horrifying. Now kids, I want you to write your full name on this piece of paper and tape it on your phones." Gideon instructed as he gave each child a small piece of paper and pencils, the kids started writing their names on the paper.

"Are you done yet?" asked Gideon.

"Yeah?" said the children.

"Good...Now..." Gideon said as he held out a box in front of them, "Put your phones in this box." he said with a smile.

"HUH?!" exclaimed the children as they held their phones close.
