Chapter 9

Luke is perfect in all ways possible. Much better than Nicholas. He is caring, loving, kind, and patient. He hasn't rushed me to do anything I have not wanted to do. I couldn't get his sweet tea and Jack Daniel's scent out of my mind.

We finished our run and made our way back to the Pack House. My father was standing at the front side of the house waiting for us to get back.

"Where have y'all been?" My dad asked.

"We went for a run for our wolves to get to know each other," Luke spoke up.

"That's fine we have some urgent things we all need to attend to." My father said and walked back into the house.

"What's going on," I asked.

"Meet in the office and we will discuss what we have found out." He turned and walked to the office.

Luke and I followed my father into his office. I noticed that the Alpha's from the other packs were here. Which means there is nothing good coming from this.

"Welcome everyone I am sorry to inform y'all of this, but we did find a body outside the boundaries of Redmoons Terrorism. I'm don't have an identity as of now, but will keep you all informed when I do." My father stood tall as he spoke.

"Is it someone from your pack?" Luke asked.

"I think so, but like I said before I don't have an identity quite yet." My father responded.

"If so may I take Sofia to my pack lands?" Luke asked.

"I think that would be a great idea, Luke. Let me talk to your father and we will make the arrangements for her arrival to the Shadow Pack's Lands tomorrow." My father smiled and shook his hand.

"Thank you, Alpha." Luke smiled back and shook dad's hand and turned to call his father.

I sighed softly I'm not sure what is to happen to our pack but something big is coming our way, we aren't prepared for it quite yet. Tomorrow I leave to the Shadow Pack Lands where I get to learn more about my mate and my role as Luna next to him.

My father dismissed everyone. "Sofia please come here, sweetheart." My father beckoned me.

"Yes, pa?" I asked.

"Are you okay with leaving for the Shadow Pack Lands tomorrow?" He asked.

"Yes, I am sure. I know it's to protect me." I smiled at pa.

"Good, Mark has agreed for you to come to stay with them!" He said and stood up. "Make sure you pack up everything you need it may be a while till you return home unless you arrange your mating ceremony with Luke." He said and hugged me.

"Thanks, pa." As I hugged him back and headed for my bedroom.

I heard it from a distance the screams from someone out in the woods. I tried to push it out of the way, but something drew me closer to going to find out who was out there.

I remember being in my bedroom packing to leave to the Shadow Pack Lands, and I woke up in the woods it was early morning and I am naked. Startled I scrambled to find my missing clothes, just to find them torn apart; which means I'll have to shift and run home before my dad finds me out here.

I made it to the front door as someone opens the door. I wasn't sure who was there but at least they didn't see me standing behind the door. The person shut the door and I was able to sneak up to my bedroom to get dressed.
