The destructive force in her palms withered with something more than anger. It was that. Maybe. But something much much more . " I told you don't, cousin." She spoke in a voice that could make the walls tremble.
Swiping a thumb across his lips, a devilishly disobedient smirk appeared. " Why do you go so far to defend them, cousin?"
Clenching her fist she replied simply, " Because they are a guests. We will treat them as such."
Michael was ready to diffuse the situation when he said the sense the movement in his stride however in a blink of an eye, she had appeared right next to him throwing her cousin aside. His eyes widened as she did so. She had just done that. Protected and guarded him from the hands of own of her own. She was defending him. Brianna demeanor changed, he could sense this, not quiet her usually reserved self. Her toned jaw clenched. Her palms formed into fist as she looked like at any given more ready to strike him again. The room awfully quiet, everyone had gasped by her action.
" Guests? Come on!" He yelled as his eyes gleamed gold, swiftly standing back on his two feet. " Do you actually think or does anyone think that this fakery of fellowship is true? That we could possibly get along!"
Brianna squinted her eyes, she knew what her cousin had just said was true. Nobody, felt truly at ease with the enemy around however people could adjust. People could change. Nothing was innate nature, it was taught- programmed- passed down as if it was sacrilegious. "Nothing is impossible." She replied as she held his gaze. His mouth agaped as if she could have actually believed in something so stupid. So useless. Instead of having a glimpse of something more- something more for their future, their children, their legacy.
" You're delusional. " He scoffed as Michael wanted to hide her behind him.
" I just might be. But at least I am not a fool who em brasses himself like a drunkard in front of his entire kingdom and his fathers throne." Brianna spoke with venom. She wanted this words not to hurt him, well maybe hurt him to some extend to realize the how he acted. But she wanted him to know just how angry and how broke he was, just because of this insanity of war.
He snarled wanting to hit the wall, wanting to hit her, to destroy the damned Prince. He just wanted everyone to- ," Don't talk, about my father." He hissed lowly staring at the floor.
Many individuals aware of his father, others not. A good man, a good king slain by the hands of the enemy. Though this was a secret pertain to family matters.
" Then Back away." She directed as he cocked his head to the side.
" Or really or what will you do?" He paused as he looked at her for an answer, turning himself to the crowd and walking in a circle, " What, huh? What is the little Princess going to do? Complain to her mommy and daddy. Uncle and Auntie dearest. Mhmm?" He intentionally pouted his lips as if to make fun of her. To make her break. Burst into tears.
Brianna however was not having any of this. She didn't care about getting humiliated, disrespected, talked about. She was use to it. This was her life. As if it were anything new. Tears were never going to shed in front of people again. There was no use in yelling. And there was no use in arguing with the stupid. But something she would do and will always is act. Talking were for the useless, action was for the brave. Not wasting a second flashing over her nails digging into the skin around his throat as the pressure of her force slammed him into the marble floor. Cracking, breaking indenting his figure onto it. " That is what I did. You talk to much." She slightly bragged with a glimmer of flash in her eyes.
Turning her back walking away believing she had finally put him down, " You shouldn't turn your back on your enemy." He said after a moment of triumph as he lunged at her, turning around as he grabbed her neck dangling her high in the air. His fingers engraving against her skin, pressing against her internal carotid artery. If he'll press hard enough he could snap her neck. Now would he want to kill her or humiliate her?
He didn't want to stop. So she would just have to fight. Grabbing a fist full of his blouse exerting power into her hand as she flipped him over landing on her feet as the continued for a cycle of five. Swish, swaying, the bodies to fast to ever see what position they were fighting in.
Michael's ocean eyes followed their every move. Her every move. The way she moved, her quick feet, the strength of her, like a dancing warrior. Spinning around like the breathless wind that gave them life.
Ethan leaping onto the second floor as Brianna followed grabbed and throwing each other. Fist meeting fist. The destructive force destroying everything in their path. Leaping on the metal railing jumping down as their feet broke the pavement beneath them.
This wasn't a fight about disrespect. No. This was a fight about family. About strength that lied within the family. One that was broken.
Though her thoughts were of good intention, her attention had slipped. Ethan noticed this when he hit her in her abdomen. Never before had he strike her there proving her lack of awareness as he brought his foot up flinging her across the room, through the walls of the grandiose halls.
Unable to stop her own body from clashing into wherever she was going. The air, the wind velocity rough enough to scrape against her delicate skin. Bruises forming before collapsing into the harden concrete, bricks, woods, drywall. A crack in her spine pronouncing a misalignment. The material dusting all over her. Her body feeling heavy, legs gave out. Her eyes rolling in the back of her head as her heart beat slowed almost as if it had no beat, no rhythm.
Adelaide, Eliza, and Michael gasped audibly. Her ladies running over to her. Disregarding everything else.
" Good. Now that I got rid of the pain in the ass. Shall we, ginger?" Ethan purposed grinning wildly daring Aurora on their earlier feud. Michael's blood rush throughout his veins, the cord in his neck protruding, wanting nothing more than rip the beating cold dead heart out of his body. The wolves preparing feeling the urge of their alpha rise, but looking for his command at all times.
Her black eyes flickered as her claws drew from her hands, "Bring it, bloodsucker."
Meanwhile Brianna in a state of being here and somewhere else. Her mind a blur. Something in her chest palpating. The rhythm steady. Wait she was alive? Her bones ached, her blood on fire. Every movement felt like sleeping on a thousand needles. The murmur of familiar voices. Adelaide. Eliza. Aurora. Ethan.
Ethan.
Ethan.
Ethan!
Her eyes shot open, vision clearer than when she was previously fighting. Even the molecules in the air were visible. As the sharp ache in her body recuperating from her own magic. Her own being as she placed her bloodied hands on the shattered floor as her body ran on nothing more than instinct as she rose and ran like the wind. Nothing more than a blur as she passed her ladies in waiting, the wind drifted them, the rate of her cousin still making his way to attack Aurora lacked against her as she swiftly flipping the redhead over her shoulder landing her on her feet.
Flicking her wrist as she sent her cousin sending him backwards crashing into the western walls. Aurora blinking adjusting ended on the opposite end. Not having enough time to process as she turned around finding another group of vampires near them.Eyes flickering of different iridescent waves of light. Demanding to be brought into this fight.
Bri arched her brow, this didn't involve none of them, yet they would go so far to rebel with her cousin. " Valda, don't." She told her to back off. The younger girls purple eyes gleamed with same defiance.
" Why? You are not my leader." Valda announced leaping forward as the posse did the same. Their fangs protuded, eyes bloodshot, rage on the brink. Brianna holding out her hand as the silver metal sword fasten on the wall behind the thrones released finding its way into her hand as she slashed through their vampiric skin. Burning the flesh causing imaginable pain as she gracefully attacked each minion.
Michael creased his forehead imaginably. She was holding silver. Pure silver. Yet she seemed fine. Silver was known to harm vampires, and werewolves alike, deemed for their irrational forbidden nature, it causes to burn the skin along with paralyzing the muscles. Some already fallen, others still fighting. Although not deadly, in excessive amounts would kill either one of them. " How was she holding the sword?" He thought looking at her palms for any sign of irritation.
Continuing to gash their vulnerable skin, her ears picked up on a clicking sound. One not normal to a vampire or werewolf function. More like the a weapon, turning her gaze from the her cousin direction to Michael. She heard the sound of a crack whip booming through the empty air as she jumped in front of the leader wolf as the round circular silver projectile entered her proximity motioning the blade to cut each piece in half. Time slowing down or rather her flowing through time as a loose bullet from the corner of eye was about to slaughter one of the wolves as she held her hand out and clutched it within her hands. Time resumed as the bullets dropped to the floor. Her cousin already standing across from her. Coming forward as she slashed the middle of his chest, adding another scar as she ended up on the side of her people. The twisted grin on his face twisted her stomach as he rushed forward along with his companions.
There was no way she was going to prolong this. This would be the end. This would end now. " Stop!" Brianna commanded as her eyes turned half red, half golden. They glimmered as his group force ably halted in their tracks.
Ethan gulped his fear. His body didn't obey his will. It didn't even listen. Why ? The fuck. What the fuck? Why did she have this power? The power he held over others. ....The power to fear her. To obey her. To look down upon him as if he were nothing.
Michael looking in awe into her vibrant reddish golden eyes glisten against her pale complexion. The prove that vigor laid in her bones, her body, her being. The ability to command and compel. Watching what she would do next?
" Kneel." She added as his knees cracked the stone below them making a crashing sound. Brianna tilted her head, examining what she could do to put out the fire, the will in his mind. " Submit!"
" You crazy bit-"
" Say it!" Brianna repeated intensely as she wanted to hear his word bind his will. " Or I'll swear I'll kill every single one of them, that has threaten not only attempted to harm the wolf clan but my being as well."
Out of some concern for his people. He couldn't lose them. He could allow anyone else to hurt people he cared for. The other against the tremendous force of her will instilled upon him. Not allow for his mind to think clearly. His eyes avoiding to set sight on the princess, " I swear my loyalty to you." He murmured. While Brianna squinted her eyes pondering.. torturing him to say it again. " I swear my -"
" No!" She stopped him before he could finish, cocking her head with mischief. " I want all of you to say it. Every single one of you. And then I'll forgive you." She added roughly as she wanted them to all just stop. However they would all have to say it to prevent another incident.
Every word more. Every obligation. Every command infuriated him more as he pressed his nails into his hand as it drew blood. The blood he did not want, that did not satisfy him.
" But!" Valda spoke up as he meet her relentless gaze as he gave nothing more but then tilting his head downwards.
" We swear our loyalty to you. " They said in conjunction with their heads hanging low, their pride stepped over, and the shame of the words the left their mouths and instructed them to heed.
It was like music to her ears as she gave a tight lipped smile turning to the heads of both kingdoms, " Well excuse me, Mother. Father. Your Majesties." Brianna said in a courteous tone as she turned around pausing kicking her leg out meeting Ethan's face as he collided against the floor. The thud of his body against brought a grin to her face as she walked away with her high and shoulders poised. Her ladies followed.
Hello, everyone. Sorry for the delay it just really difficult to write a fight scene. Attempting to find creative words and not repeating the same thing. But I did it. Hopefully you enjoyed. I know this gives more insight on Brianna and Ethan relationship as family and how it isn't how they both want it.
