The Jade

Dennis POV:

"We have to get out of here" said Bonnie. It was easy for her to say. Dennis was breathing heavily. They ran out of the basement, climbing up the stairs. Dennis and the others didnt realise their were other guards protecting the area. They managed to sneak out of the building. Dennis had no idea where they were.

"Let me go and see where we are" Bonnie said. Before the others could reply, she was off. "What do we do?" asked Harold. "We wait" Dennis said, crossing his arms. He really hoped they were near their camp. But Dennis knew it was unlikely.

After a few minutes, Bonnie returned. "I have no idea where we are" she said, disappointed. "Looks like we're in trouble, what do we do?" asked Klara, playing with a ball of water with her hands. "Hello children" a voice said. It made Dennis' heart jump out. They turned around, weapons in their hands.

Dennis was relieved. It was the lady from before. The orange hair still glowed bright. "Don't worry" Dennis said to the others. "It looks like the other heroes have found something that belongs to you" the lady said, speaking to all the heroes. "Show me the palm of your hands" she instructed.

The heroes did as they were told and opened their palms. A Jade appeared in their hands. They stared at it. It felt light in their hands, almost like it wasn't there. Dennis' Jade glowed a warm orange in his hands. "What does it do?" Dennis asked, mesmerized.

He didn't get a response. The lady vanished once again. Dennis didn't know how to feel about the whole disappearing act but he was happy that the other heroes were safe and making their way to the Lord of Destruction's palace. "The other heroes are making their way towards the palace, we should do the same, otherwise we have no chance of completing this quest" he said confidently.

The others nodded in agreement. They ran past the various buildings. "Where do we go?" Dennis asked. He asked for help. He had a feeling that the lady would help them again. "Hello again" the lady said. "Looks like one of you want my service" she said, looking at Dennis. "Yes, where do we go" he asked. "I was waiting for one of you to ask that" she said with a smile. "Close your eyes"

The heroes did. Dennis felt energy flowing towards them. "Whatever you do, don't open your eyes" the lady said. Dennis really wanted to see what what happening, but he managed to not look. Dennis left like he was falling down a hole

Then suddenly, pitch black...
