Reunion

Daniel POV:

Daniel knew they were closing in on the Lord of Destuction's palace. A dark presence overwhelmed him. He recently found out that he can feel the presence of evil. It wasn't the most fun ability. But it was helpful.

"We're close" he said to the others. Nobody argued with him. They all knew about his strange ability. Sometimes, it worried them. Darkness was one of the rarest abilities. It wasn't supposed to exist in the moral world.

Daniel had a strange feeling that told him that the palace was less that ten miles away. But what the heroes didn't expect was the other five heroes appearing right in front of them. Daniel walked right in front of Dennis, making him jump. "What the-" they said. "How did you..." said Daniel.

Dennis, Alicia, Harold and Bonnie laughed. Daniel thought they went a bit mad. "Surprise" said Alicia sarcastically. Daniel just stared at them, he didn't know what to say. He decided it was best to join the five laughing heroes.

Catherine was the only one looking serious. "We have to get to the tower" she said, frowning. She didn't understand why everyone was laughing. "I guess Catherine is right, we better get moving" Daniel said.

They made their way through the plains. They knew that nobody traveling from the city saw the magically appearence by Dennis and the others. They were seeing things beyond their imagination. They would never realise what is happening right in front of their noses.

The heroes were talking about their plans to defeat the Dark Lord. They knew that they had to work together to deal damage. Otherwise it would be impossible. Daniel told them that the Dark Lord would be expecting them.

He needed them to do something. Presumably to become even stronger. So they couldn't take him by surprise. Catherine said that the Dark Lord won't be in his palace alone. There will be creatures there that will rise in his name.

Twisted never before seen creatures of myth. But the one thing that disturbed Daniel the most is the way people never mentioned the way the Lord of Destruction looks like. He previously thought that nobody had ever seen him before. Maybe we would be wearing a mask or covering his face.

But that didn't seem to be the case. But before he could ask the heroes this question, he heard a humming sound coming from all directions. A twisted small horrible creature appeared out of nowhere. They were trying to say something, but the heroes didn't know what they were saying. All they heard were strange sounds...
