Daniel was emotionless. He didn't know what to think of the situation. He knew that the heroes couldn't be seperated like this when the whole of humanity's existance was in their hands. They had to somehow gain eachother's trust. But it was hard when there was a traitor within the group. He looked around and everyone, seeing if anyone was acting suspicious or nervous. But everyone looked nervous. Daniel sighed.
But something changed for a few seconds. Daniel didn't know what. But everything became quiet. Daniel paused.
He watched as Igor walked a little bit faster than the rest of the heroes. He did this until the other heroes stopped, waiting to see what Igor was doing. His head was bowed down and his hands were behind his back.
"Uh Igor, you ok there?" asked Dennis. Igor's face lifted up and a mad, evil grin was on his face. "Yes" he replied. But it didn't sound like the Igor Daniel and the other heroes knew so well. But the voice sounded familiar. "Ig-" started Dennis.
But he couldn't finish the sentence. A thin string of wire entered Dennis' stomach. Everyone was paralysed for a second. Then, they realized what happened. "DENNIS!" shouted Klara. The injured boy fell to the floor, blood leaking out of his stomach.
"You monster" cried Daniel. The words didn't feel right coming out of Daniel's mouth. 'How could he?' Daniel; thought, tears forming in his eyes. He took out Sciodes, but it trembled in his hands. "What happened to you Igor?" cried Bonnie.
Catherine ran to Dennis' side and dragged him into the camp, next to Harold. A voice that Daniel knew so well came from Igor's mouth. Igor's eyes started to go black, his whole body liquified. "Hello heroes, I'm waiting for you. I have a surprise..." said the voice. "The Dark Lord?" asked Edger.
Igor's form started to turn back to normal. His eyes were not black. He was trying to say something. "He. Lied. To. Me..." he cried. "I'm sor-" he whispered, but a wisk of darkness and Igor disappeared. The heroes could only stare at the very place Igor disappeared. "Igor..." said Daniel.
When the heroes returned to camp, they saw Catherine sweating nervously. "How is Dennis?" Daniel asked, hoping that he was alright. Catheine didn't respond. Her head was down. "I'm sorry" she said. "What do you mean your sorry?" cried Daniel angrily. He stopped. "Sorry" he said. "I didn't mean to-"
"He's not going to make it"
