Chapter 56

The man's fury had reached to the core. His jaws were tightly clenched as he shook his left index finger towards Ellen's direction. His right palm was clutching the injured parts on his cheeks. His face was flushed due to the intense pain and anger.

If looks could kill, Ellen would have long been shredded to death.

His red eyes gave a murderous glare, looking as if he'd kill her at any second.

Who on earth was she to invade his own territory and disrespect him...

Did she think she could freely get away with it?

Wu Chan's heart hang on his mouth as his body greatly trembled as he eyed the exceptionally relaxed woman.

      Who on earth is this?

She was emotionlessly seated like a queen while everybody else was standing speechlessly either in shock or anger.

He really began to admire her.

Either she was very capable or ignorant.

What could a frail looking woman do in the middle of large built gangsters and drug maniacs?

He was on the verge of alerting the police, f*uck the outcomes.

Ellen loudly crushed the lollipop between her teeth before throwing it's stick at Zhen's face whose eyes bulged out even more, in disbelief.

The disrespect had really reached the saturation point.

" If you don't have an idea of who you are, that's not my business. You should probably get your brain checked.

I'm not here to exchange a foolish battle of words with some street punks like you. Don't you feel any kind of shame or remorse, your body is so foolishly huge yet you belong to such a low rank. Who can tell you're that useless... "

She uttered with a blank expression.

As if struck by lightning, the man fell on the hard floor with a thud.

His eyes were popped open. He tried to speak but the words were stuck on his tightened dry throat. He kept weakly pointing at Ellen, his lips furiously trembling.

Everything happened too fast to everyone's bewilderment.

Soon, a young petite girl whose face and eyes had reddened due to crying was brought.

Wu Chan was still lost in great shock that his mind didn't register anything, not when his sister jumped on his shoulders or when Zhen and his underlings together with his drunkard friends kowtowed severally at his feet.

Ellen rose on her feet and glanced at the trembling gangster.

" Tell your stupid boss to repay you the money that their father owed you. " She coldly said and pointed at the sobbing Wu siblings.

" First, three quarter of the money belongs to me, you can take the rest.

Second, pay the equal amount to them for causing emotional damage to their entire family.

Third, refund my taxi fees to and from this place. Fuel prices have gone up nowadays so the cost is a bit higher.

I expect everything before midnight, not a single coin less. Then pass my advice to that fool. Tell him to find more sensible sidekicks, not fat bellied dimwits like you. I hope I'm clear... "

Ellen shamelessly said with a straight face rendering everyone more speechless.

With her petite frame and ever present slight smile, no one would believe that she had just solely terrorized the room a minute ago.

     " Y... Yes yes understood, you're very clear. "

Zhen profusely nodded as a thin layer of perspiration appeared on his face.

His head knocked on the hard floor several times as he kowtowed for her from the deepest part of his heart.

A devil incarnate of a woman, he'd give his life to escape her clutches.

Of course he'd never ask the ' boss ' for anything, as if he'd dare. He'd just use his painstakingly earned money. His life that was at stake mattered more.

Outside the bar, the Wu siblings were still in shock.

They furiously thanked her, bowing now and then, their tears stained eyes shining with gratefulness.

Ellen glared at them before flagging down a taxi and coldly said, " I'm not a saint. The old man at the restaurant is too ashamed to admit that he's short of workers. Report tomorrow at lunchtime."

She boarded a taxi and disappeared from their sights.

In their stupor, their minds were still unable to register what had just happened minutes earlier.
