Camilla put down the book she was reading and checked to see if her phone was already charged. Looking at the tiny bar on the upper right, she smiled. Yes, one hundred percent! She unplugged the device from the charger and turned it on.

'How was it with the nosy old ladies?' 7:50pm

'Camilla? Are you okay?' 7:58pm

'I think you slept. Did you? Obviously you won't answer if you've already slept. Good night, then!' 9:45 pm

Those were Alex's messages and Camilla laughed at his silliness. She started to type, but a new message from him appeared in the conversation history.

'You are online and have read the messages. Now you're typing something. I'm not stalking you, I promise! I just opened the app and saw you were online, then opened the conversation to talk to you.'

Camilla felt like he was messing up all over. 'Don't be drunk, please!' She asked mentally.
