Chest: His Wish

Heart racing

Looking at your lips I want to kiss

I looked away

My vision's blurring

But your image is still clear as crystal in my mind

I held you close from the side

My hand on your waist

I wanted to hug you so tight

Keep you so close with me

I looked at your face

Looking at a screen and I wish I was that person with the heart on its name

I want you to be mine

Not a mine that I own but mine to care for as long as I breathe

I want to hold your face

As it moves towards mine

Closer and closer I can smell your fragrance

Brush my nose on yours and kiss your lashes

Including your cheeks so soft

I wanted to resist you

But like heroin, I want more of you

Like caffeine in the morning or at night

I want to drink you more

Stay awake and look at you so you won't disappear

I told you I love you

But it's just mine to say cause you'll never say "I love you, too"

I'm in a cage you never want to create

You gave me the key but I left it somewhere to wear, not using it to get away

I stayed beside you as I slowly die inside

So happy when you're with me

I feel we are lovers but with so little time given as a chance for us to spend

I wish I was your lover

And he's just your friend

This poem is written unplanned. It's written in a man's POV, someone who loves someone who's already in love with someone else.

Too sleepy typing it here, lol.

Thanks for dropping by and reading. 😊
