Chapter Sixteen: Ancient History

I woke up early this morning, for once, with nothing to do.

Jack was gone, so that meant her crocodile bar was ancient history, but I had my ideas for the place.

If I did ever decide to come back, I would open back up with a remodel; it was the least that I could do for her... I was the one that killed her.

I looked over to my left to see Lugh, not in bed, it took me a moment, but I could faintly hear my shower going. He came out a moment later, drying his hair with everything else about him bare to my sight. I stared at him in silence, drinking in all that I could see, my lips parting as I inhaled.

"Morning, Lugh," I smiled a bit, laying on my aids, gazing at him. He started at me, letting the towel fall from his hands, walking steadily over.

"Ya crave my warmth." It wasn't a question; he stated the obvious because he, too, was showing just how much he wanted me.

Without hesitation, he crawled onto the bed, caging me beneath him, with my legs on either side of my hips. His lips found mine as he slowly lowered his body weight, his member entering me slowly.

I suddenly bit his lips, shuddering beneath him, my back arching up as I pressed my chest into his. I grabbed a fist full of his hair into my hands and groaned, pulling my lips away from his.

He ended up turning me onto my stomach with his hands on either side of her head, slamming his hips up against my rump. I released a surprised gasp, clutching rightly at the blanket beneath me, groaning as he rocked his hips against me again. He slipped his hand underneath my throat, pulling my head back as he blew my back out.

"Lugh---fuck! Yes!" My eyes brimmed with tears, and I reached up to grip his fingers in mine.

"Had enough yet?" He pushed his hips forward harder this time, grinning hugely as he watched my eyes go cross. I snarled, ripping his hand from my throat, bitting into the blankets, screaming as he pressed down onto my back and plowed away.

-

We had laid there for the rest of the day, off and on repeatedly, until we couldn't anymore.

There was a knock at the four that shattered my bliss-filled moment, my eyes snapping open.

"Bloody fuckin' hell." Sweeney groaned as he got up from my side, walking stark naked to my bedroom door, opening it to reveal Silver tongue

*he knows how to pop up at the wrong time.*

I shook my head as I rose from the bed, reaching down to you'll my clothes on before I had to pluck his other eye out. "What do you want, dickhead?" I peeked around the door, right under Lugh's elbow, watching silver-tongued eyes drift to me. He rose his eyebrows a bit, his eyes flickering over my attire. "Wearing clothes today, dear?" He questioned, his good eyes catching mine. I spit at him through the gap between him and me, watching him dodge swiftly. "Fuck you and the horse you came in on." I was spitting mad, shoving Lugh forcefully out of the way.

"Damnit, woman! For once, keep yer hand to yerself." Bar-brawler growled, peeking out from the other side. Silver-tongue looked between him and me for a moment before blinking. "Are you ready for the road trip?" He lifted a brow in question, his hands clasped in front of him. "I never agreed." I glared, clenching my teeth, my eyes narrowed to slits. He rolled his eyes and sighed. "You have been invited to come. You have nothing left; the woman you considered to be your mother is dead. The town your in is going to ruin. You want nothing more but to get away from here, and I'm extending that hand." He looked at me pointedly before walking down the stairs.

I stood there for a moment and blinked, pursing my lips together. I chuckled and sighed, going to my duffel and taking all of my dance attire out.

"So we're going?" He looked at me, closing my room door back, leaning up against it as he looked out of my broken window. I sat there for a while and watched as he didn't look at me, seeing the concern in his gaze even if he tried to hide it.

"I have another idea, but I'm not going to say it now. Those little ravens he has are trouble, and I rather my privacy be my own, also no electronics. It seems I'm going to have to be bound to you sooner rather than later." His head snapped to me, his entire expression twisting into anger. He growled a low feral sound at the back of his throat, his hands clenched to fist at his side. "No, lass. Not a chance." He stormed over to me seething, his breathing escalated and heavy.

I stared into his eyes, grasping one of his clenched hands in mine. "No matter how many times you distract me, no matter how many times you get angry about it, I'm going to keep asking. I rather have a bond where you can feel me than have something happen to me, and you have no way of finding me." I whispered hissed, watching his face change. I was prepared for anything at this point.

Silver-tongue made it very clear that he was going to get what he wanted either way. Some of us weren't going to come back from this; whoever we meet along the way, there would be damage that can't be reversed.

"Lass, what's got ya---"

"We may die, Lugh. For some reason, I feel like my reincarnation is different somehow. There's a reason that I hadn't returned for four hundred years until now." I stared down in my duffel, hearing him sit down next to me.

"Are you sure? I told you before, once that bond is made, it cannot be broken." He reached for my chin and brought my head up so that he could stare into my eyes. I stared back calmly, my resolve final. "Yes, I want to know how to pray to you. Pray to each other...."
