We managed to stay out of the eyes of Silver-tongue for four months until I heard a car door open and then close. It was the unruly knock at our makeshift door that made my lips pull back over my teeth, snarling.
"Oh c'mon, is this how you treat an old friend?" The overconfidence and the selfish attitude was what made Lugh growl before he went forth and opened our door.
the old clown seems to know how to come around at the worst possible time.
I was beyond irritated when I watched him and two others walk in, none other than Bilquis and Anansi. They looked around our self-built home with raised brows before turning their eyes on me.
We managed to make a home, both underground and above, to live in so we were still connected to nature's currents. We even built an underground tunnel that led more than eight miles Into another abandoned area.
I stood in a white but sheer cloth-like dress, my ethereal aura out in the open, my dual-colored eyes trained on them.
"How the fuck did you find me?" I shouldn't have asked the question; I pretty much knew the answer, my face twisting up into a narrow-eyed scowl. Silver tongue looks straight to me, opening his mouth but quickly shutting it. His eyes seemed to wander, resting right on my torso, his eyes widening.
"Well, I see congratulations are in order, well don't Mad Sweeney." Wednesday stared at the small but growing bump under my dress.
I had found out two months ago that Lugh and I have a child on the way; he stayed with me through all of the mental torture, nightmares, and cold sweats, keeping me safe from myself.
My brows twitched in irritation, an obsidian blade appearing in my hands, my eyes on Wednesday. "Thank you. I will say this, say or do anything degrading or disrespectful in our home, and I'll cut your tongue out." I pointed my blade in his direction, watching his one good eye widened.
Mr. Nancy's laugh filled the air after that, walking in my direction with ease and without a care. "You're as rude as ever, Queen." He grabbed my hand and kissed my knuckles, Lugh's growl vibrating the entire stable. "Bugger. Off. Nancy." I could feel his ethereal heat ablaze behind me, his hand crawling up my arm to rest comfortingly on my shoulder.
"Anansi" I slapped Lugh in the abdomen for his rude overprotective behavior, hearing him groan, struggling to get air into his lungs. I smirked, looking to Bilquis, who seemed to look highly vibrant this evening. "Bilquis" I acknowledged her watching her now, her head a tad bit with a pleasant smile on her face. "You look well, Na-nun." She gave a brief nod in Lugh's direction, hearing a scoff shortly afterward.

They stayed around for as long as inlet them, so long as no one was disrespectful, feeding them the wild-caught deer that I had made for this evening's meal.
At our makeshift table in silence, my eyes steady as I started down Silver-tongue.
he's gonna say something; I'm just waiting on when so I can cook his tongue and feed it to the wild dogs.
I suddenly began to laugh; being pregnant had my emotions running and raging all over, but right now, I was steady as a horse gallop; I wanted his head.
Lugh reached under the table and gently squeezed by his substantial hand, rubbing his thumb against my flesh in slow circles.
I acknowledge the gesture smiling a bit, focusing my attention back on trying to feed my growing unborn child and me.
"How far along?" His voice filled the air, and I didn't hesitate to stab through my table, my eyes glaring as they trained on him again.
"None of your fucking business, Grimnir." his name when it left my tongue came out in a strange jumbled-up hiss, pushing the blade through the table.
"Oh...well, look at what you did, you dummy." Nancy stared at the blade that I pierced through our delicately made table, throwing his fork down with a sigh. O just rolled my eyes and stared down at the hand that seemed to tighten around my knee.
I sighed, staring up at my ceiling, tapping my finger against the wood as their conversation blurred out to my ears.
I found myself focusing on the sound of drilling water, tapping my fingers in steady cadence to get myself to calm down, but it seemed every time I heard the evil snake talk, my urge to throw the entire plan away and kill him kept popping up in my head.
I wanted nothing more than to hand his head outside of the front door, so those who came near would know I wasn't to be fucked with.
"Lassi, calm yer tits, Aye?" Lugh's lips were against my ear in an instant, causing me to slap him in the neck. " Don't touch me right now." I glanced over at him to see his teeth bared in frustration, his hand rhythmically squeezing my thigh again.
"Enough of the fuckery; Why are you here, Silver-tongue?" I grabbed my blade, pulling it out of the wood with ease, tapping the edge against my other leg.
His eye moved to me, his gaze wandering over my entire form that sat comfortably in my chair. "I'm calling everyone back backstage, war is here, and I want you to join me, beautiful Na-Nun." He sat forward, resting his chin on his folded hands, smiling his disturbing smile.
"I refuse. You can get out of my house." I stood up from the head of the table; the hilt gripped tightly in my right hand.
He stood up and walked around the table while the other watched, noticing the crazy smile Lugh was displaying. "You must; you're of the old gods, that is unless you sided with the new----"
One moment I was standing there staring at him; the next, I slammed his head down onto the table, keeping him steady there with my clawed fingers.
"Disrespectful snake!" My calm voice seemed to still everyone in the room and reached into Wednesday's mouth without hesitation and cut his tongue from his mouth.
His gurgled scream filled the air as he stumbled, jerking away from me as his blood stained the earth beneath my feet. Sweeney, who I had expected to get up and lose his shit, seemed to sit there, rocking back on the legs of the chair, the crazy smile on his face.
Bilquis watched with wide eyes, her hands covering her mouth so that her food didn't come back up where it went in. Nancy, he just seemed to be grinning as he watched the Norse God struggle, absentmindedly stroking his chin.
"I warned you, even she warned you. It seems to me you had to get burned before you could grasp the understanding with your fucking pea-sized brain." Nancy got up and grabbed his belongings, walking to the other side of the room, walking out of the door.
"Later, Queen, continue being you. No one else in this fucking world expects you to." With nancy's goodbye, he disappeared out the door, leaving me, Lugh, and Dickface bleeding from the mouth.
I looked to his foul tongue and back at the owner before throwing it in his face. "I'll come, but I will remain neutral. You try and drag me in ill remove your head from their shoulders with your weapon." I walked over, squatting down to his level, giving him a pleasant smile.
"Now, get the fuck out."
