8 weeks and an update on how the training is going

Sapphire...

"Do I really have to almost die?" I said, thinking to myself with my Forca technique activated I thought I'd be able to have a breakthrough. I was dead wrong. My ramming against the wall had gotten much stronger but it had gotten more flexible and harder to break.

stronger,

Is it because of Olivia's incoming death?

I quickly wiped away the grim thought. I kind of hated myself. Benefiting from her death what kind of person was I? It was dark outside. I had spent quite some time trying to breakthrough.

"Done meditating?" Leona said, looking at me from the couch she always slept on after stamina training.

"Yeah, no breakthrough sadly," I said, frowning deeply. If I wanted to protect the academy from harm, I needed more practice.

Leona frowned. Soon she smiled once again. "I ordered turkey today." She said pointing to the kitchen "Thanks." It was my day to order the food but she did it for me.

Killing aura boosts my abilities by 50% now it's rare for me to get a chance to kill someone so I have to take all the chances I get. 'What kind of grim thoughts did I just wake up to?' Olivia said suddenly waking up to my most frowned upon thought of the day.

'Did you do that on purpose?' I asked suspiciously. 'N- no, how could I? I was sleeping!'

She definitely had listened to my thoughts after waking up to act like she woke up right on time. She shouldn't waste precious time on things like that.

'Yeah, yeah I know.' Lately, we had been more in tune with each other, it's killing me on the inside. Knowing that I can't do anything to stop it. I ate the turkey actually inhaled it more like it. I was very hungry after that I talked to Olivia for 3 or 4 hours and went to sleep.

8 weeks later… the twelve-month aka December…

It was snowing outside. Today instead of being cooped up inside the school they had us all have a day off to play in the snow and hang out it was a holiday.

My sword skills have improved by leaps and bounds I don't know how but my swordsmanship has gotten way better really quickly…

Also, tomorrow is the noble ball. My "Date." is Brian the real reason we are going as a pair is for him to not get harassed by the noblewomen. Yes, not just girls but women. Even the princesses of the kingdom were after him. Although they were still around thirteen, with the eldest princess being 17 and the youngest 13.

Lately, I just trained physically with the group then meditated for hours at a time that physical training includes 4 hours of sword training. I'm building my technique.

Leona…

My PR is finally thirteen! Still, not enough. I need to reach 15. The Forca technique has made meditating so so much easier and faster. My lightning now felt like a part of my body. I could store energy now. If I tried really hard, I could make three Lightning lions.

But unless I have time in battle, I usually use my bolt of lightning as my second strongest attack.

Brian....

I found the time to change my weapon. These blades I used when battling Raimy and Leona seemed to fit me really well. After using them for a while I asked for a pair from my family's forge. They only gave me some high mid-tier swords,, but that was enough for me.

It's not like I'm a newbie with them I had used many different swords spears axes anything you can name. I just feel my aptitude is better with this. I framed my scythe on my wall it had my first kill on it.

Raimy…

Whew! I got a thirteen PR 2 days ago. I don't need a weapon. My iron is my weapon. I've noticed I can absorb outside iron into my body, but if it's rusted, it hurts like hell. I have limits on it though.

I can only absorb up to 20 pounds of iron. My body doesn't make it, Liquid, that's just how it is when it comes out. Feels crazy that I'll have to be fighting for the school. My pick-up game has also increased since my body had got more muscle I had become chiseled.

Never thought I'd see the day where my skinny body goes away.

Maly..,

I had finally found the strength I've been looking for. I just hit thirteen PR. M rapier skills needed more work so I fixed that and all is good. Since my speed and agility are already good enough I focused on my strength.

Tenner…

Finally thirteen!!!! My gravity field is much stronger now. I wonder if your physical body has anything to do with your power (It does.) I need to be stronger. I can't have people dying on my watch. We even have a plan to make sure everybody we meet gets to safety.

Apparently, we've been given special authority over our classmates. To make that knowledge known, we're known as the disciplinary committee. It was granted to us privately by Advisor Ryhem and publicly given to us by the headmaster.

We were also allowed to accompany Sapphire and Brian as "Bodyguards." At the ball.

It's going to be our first assignment as part of the military. The disciplinary committee is just elite students who work as eyes and ears for the military at our school.

I was just made with good reason after the murders at our school a month and a half ago.

Apparently, evil did those murders, but didn't Brian and Sapphire show up to class severely injured that day?

Before the noble ball… first-person since I'm too lazy to think up the 3rd-person perspective.

The group arrived at the best dress/tuxedo place Brian could think of. It screamed money with even a fancy font on the sign outside in the fanciest neighborhood around. I mean, I lived in the fanciest neighborhood around so I had crossed by here a lot. I just never went there.

We all walked in since it was a holiday weekend and we had waited last minute to get our suits is was crowded with many nobles. But since we were students of Relix academy, we got some special privileges. We were all technically honorary nobles.

So we had the privilege of even shop here. "Our family has its own section in this store. Let's go there," Brian said, leading us. "Now remind me why your family has its own section at one of the top clothes areas in the nation?" Leona asked with one eyebrow up.

He rubbed the bridge of his nose until it was red. "For the last time it's because our family only shops here for clothing." "That sounds expensive," Tenner said saying what was on what I imagine was on everyone's minds. Brain ignored the comment.

Eventually, after the conversation, we were at the Ryhem clothes section. "Hello, young master Ryhem, what shall I do for you today?" A young man came from the curtains, greeting us with perfect manners.

"Please get my friends measured and fitted into some clothes for the ball." "AH!"

Brian pointed one finger in the air having remembered something. "They will be my bodyguards and friends, so please make sure they get the family symbol and yes, I have checked with mother."

Brian said, answering the young man's question before it was asked. "Good now come out ladies!" The young man clapped twice. He was a pretty boy with curly hair like that of African Americans in my old world. He looked kind of like Lil nas something I forgot. and had a baby face with symmetrical features.

But… My gaydar was ringing so loud in my head I could practically hear it physically.

I can't judge him too much I used my power lightly to scan him. Mhm hmm he just sounds fruity… I think.

The maids came out and pulled everyone to their respective dressing rooms. I got stuck with a chubby maid with green eyes and brown hair. "You must be young master Ryhem's date." She said with a warm smile while measuring around my waist.

"I can imagine he doesn't like to be called young master Ryhem," I said after noticing the visible cringe on his face every time they called him that.

She chuckled playfully. "Yes, of course, he doesn't. We just do it to mess with him." I was a little bit shocked, but it made sense. He had been coming here for his clothes since birth, apparently.

So, of course, they are close to him.

She looked up to me. "What are these scars from." She asked looking at the scars on my neck. I had completely forgotten about them. I quickly covered them with my hand.

"Your wrists too?" She said lifting my long sleeve shirt.

"Just a hard battle that I fought and won," I said telling her a half-truth.

She smiled motherly. "You don't have to cover up your scars honey." I was shocked by her kindness but put my arms by the sides anyway.

"I bet you hear how beautiful you are all the time. Why don't you stop covering your face?"

She said rising to her full height. "I just don't feel comfortable."

I felt like I had to tell the truth.

She lifted my hair back and flicked my head. "You need more sleep." She said with a worried look on her face.
