I Heard birds chirping out in the morning air, I was still utterly exhausted from the sleepless night of trying to get comfortable, which never happened. I ended up with a migraine that stabbed at my brain like shards of glass as soon as I lifted my head off of my pillow. I rolled off of my bed and forgot it was a bunk bed and I was on top. So I ended up bashing my head on the carpet and hurting my shoulder.
I grunted at the large thud that resounded after my head-on collision with the ground. Not a good start to the morning at all. "What was that?" Delia woke up immediately after I fell off of my bed. "Nothing, just the worst start to a day I've had in a very, very long time." It was still dark out and I had decided to get out of bed and start getting ready before everyone else woke up to get on the course.
Which we ran every morning. Every. Day. That somehow always managed to leave me sore the next day, so every day I was sore through every muscle in my body, which is always annoying. Delia fell asleep again, I could tell, as she went completely silent without response.
I stood up in my pajamas weakly, if I start the course earlier than usual that means I can finish earlier, therefore, allowing myself to have a longer time for a break or to possibly try to sleep before sparring which would allow me to have more energy and more energy is always better. I changed out of my pajamas into the military-provided black and gray cargo pants that also happened to be water-proofed. I had found out they had supplied us with black combat boots that had a golden B on the back of them, signaling that everyone who was wearing those boots belonged to B-block.
So I silently walked throughout the halls, a neat trick I had picked up while training with Mr. Ryhem. So after eventually exiting the main base or the living quarters, I saw a large playing with a big wall that led to a forest in front of me. I ran towards the wall, reaching it. I climbed over the parkour, landed in the mud, swam, then ran the entire course, stopping only for some water once I reached the checkpoint. The trip back was so uncomfortable.
Which took me around six hours. An absurd amount of time, just to finish the first activity of the day and move on to the next part. Judging from how I started the course at four am, I had finished at around ten pm around when the rain started.
I flopped onto the grass and sat down as the rain started with a drizzle, then poured onto the ground. Today was a thunderstorm unlike usual. The lightning crackled in the air excitedly, making my hair stand on edge. I felt pricks all over my skin like electricity, "Ohh sh**"...
I quickly turned on my power and raised my hand in the air, and absorbed every bit of energy from the lightning. I felt energy coursing through my entire body energizing me and supplying m power core with an insane amount of energy that broke shackles.
My eyes flipped in and out of their superpowered state. At that moment I could see everything, every single moment and instance of energy-flow in all life and everything around me. I could feel everything. It was like unknown energy coursing through me. The lightning bolt was still going and flowing into my hand. It had already been 17 seconds, then twenty.
Suddenly I felt lie I was flying, but maybe I was dying? I don't know anymore, but it feels great. Then the ecstasy of everything came to a stop when I realized my heart was beating way too fast and so was my core. It was pumping energy like an untrained engine about to burst. Something inside of me clicked, and I felt true power.
I saw everything in my eyes. I knew what was about to happen. I was about to go unconscious or die. I don't know. I fell over as everything went dark.
*THUD*
Everything went into highlight reels of what was happening. I was found by a military student. My heart was still beating extremely fast and when I attempted to look down, I saw my veins glowing like I was bioluminescent. I couldn't even think clearly except for how strong was that lightning it had to be an insane amount of volts.
What are volts?
I'm confused.
I went into panic mode and my breathing became extremely fast, but I felt like I was watching myself go through everything in the third person and nothing was making sense. All I know was that my sight was better than ever I could see how strong everyone around me was and how much life force was pumping into them like golden veins of honey liquid energy directed to the center every bit of energy around me was flowing to me.
Lamps were going out, and I was in a hospital. That's where I was I'm in a hospital. Suddenly everything went pitch black, and I felt like my body was taking energy from everything around it. The beast cores and all. I tried my best not to take any life expectancy from the nurses or the doctors but I was so weak I don't even know if I succeeded in even doing that then I blacked out again.
All the muffled screaming and yelling had ended and everything was all calm and fine, but it wasn't. I blacked out again, for I don't know how many times. Everything that I touched felt like it was turning into something less than solid when I touched it, like it was disappearing. I screamed for help "HELP!! HELP!!!!! AHH!!!" I shook in my bed uncontrollably with spasms. I heard the clipping of hurrying footsteps coming towards me. I was then thankful that someone heard my cry for help.
Blacking out once again, I woke up covered all the way around my body in bandages with my sight not very consistent. My vision was overwhelming. I couldn't stop blinking. Then everything stopped. I was still in intense pain, but it wasn't nearly as bad as before.
I took some breaths to calm myself down and give myself a small break to compose my thoughts.
First thing. What happened?
