Rusty tracked his daughter and knew she was in the air. He tried to remain calm. He had given Jane's body guard positions to a friend of a friend's kid. He knew he was a good kid. Troy was his name. Rusty could remember information and recall it in lighting fast time. This was the only reason he agreed. The boy was in med school. Their family was in crisis and having them all together was the only way he could offer his help.
Rusty had kept a close eye on this boy so he knew him well. He sat there and chuckled to himself. After he had is daughter placed with her bracelet. He had arranged for him to work on the anklets. He had the problem children as his test subjects. He needed to know everything before he had them placed on his men.
It pained Rusty to place one on his prized daughter. Jane meant the world to him. Yet when he found out about her condition he had no choice. He was ordered by his superiors. This was the fifth time he had saved her life. It gave him anxiety even thinking about it. It gave him sorrow thinking about his losses. Jane was definitely his gain. He would do whatever was humanly possible to give her a normal life. She would never know the truth. She would only remember him as a loving father. Who worked as a professor. This was his cover and he played the part well. Few people had seen his face in the organization and he will keep it that way.
She was his greatest potential he would die to keep her safe.
She would be home again in just a few hours. This gave him comfort as he sat back in his office looking over his yard watching his children play. They all waited anxiously for her to arrive. He loved the energy and soaked up the moment.
