Bad news

The phone in his pocket vibrated, destroying the sacristy of Russel's dinner. His wife was still gone and a call-in-order was the best he could do. His youngest three children didn't seam to mind. Sack meals where know to be unhealthy in this household, so they where rare. The sports fans started at the television scarfing down the food placed before them. Leaving a wake of disaster in their mists.

Russel sat at the table eating his paper sack meal. As much as he liked a good game his mind was elsewhere. If he wasn't under so much stress he might even miss the home grown vegetables. Right now all he missed was his wife and daughter. He needed to protect all of them and it seamed his universe was full of villains. Finally he discarded the idea all together and retreated to his office.

When bad new comes, there is no good news to buffer the bad news. Despite popular opinion it never helped. His phone rang and it was simple and straightforward. Troy was in the ambulance not Angela. Not only that but Angela now needed to disappear too. She had just arrived at the safe house. Troy was still out cold from the tranquilizer. He squelched his eyes. I need more details. Ann was still on the road to the hospital. Russel wasn't just smart and had them transferred to a hospital that was an eight hour drive. This gave him time. That was precious in a time like this.

News of the crash in the ambulance was already reported. The plan was to have Reese Air lifted at a junction point so they didn't have much time. There are no extra passengers on helicopters. Plus he didn't have a pilot. He also wouldn't risk his men's life's. Having a car accident in a rain storm was a lot easier to pull off. It would also pull a lot less attention to the media. Not to mention the cost was far less.

He couldn't call Ann they where in radio silence since the day both her boys woke up in the hospital. She was going to kill him. Those boys where her last remaining comfort and pride. How did he manage to take both of them from her. It seamed like they kept gravitating towards him. He rubbed his hands through his hair. His eyes where pressed tightly shut. He was thinking and right now that was exactly what he needed to do.

He was going to have to wait for her signal again. He already knew she couldn't blow her cover. He would gladly take her into the fold. Having Troy disappear was just as much of a red flag. Reese was already terminally ill and had been seen by her doctors. Troy needed to be on the out. Russel run through all the options he had. The good news was Angela seamed to adjust well. Troy was still out cold and there was only four bodies that where collected from the ambulance. Not real ones but that is what the report said. He could work with that. The bad news was he couldn't switch Angela and Troy because Angela called her parents and said she was taking a cab.

Why would she call her parents. He thought about that for a second. What was the message Ann was trying to give him. CAB was it a signal or just a different mode of transport. He knew she had her separated from herself. That was a smart move in so many ways. He could have had one of him men pick her up so why did she drive here there. Was there a deeper meaning. Was Ann trying to tell him something. It rang a bell but he couldn't put a place to where he had heard it.

He needed to know inform Cameron as soon as possible. He needed a plan so he could issue the proper paperwork and cover his tracks. They where also going to need 4 large dogs to get the ashes from. Good thing he has Andrew on his side. One or two would have to be clean because they where not real people and would sit on a shelf of the unclaimed. Any bone or teeth fragments would send up flags. He worked the situation in his head back and forth. The other two or and possibly three where going to go to family. He could use Troy and it was about time he should come clean. The big question was could he trust him. Was it better to leave him in the dark. In the end the monster in the closet was going to have to be dealt with.

The biggest problem Russel faced wasn't the common task force. They where easy to fool it is all about paperwork. No this was a bigger problem. It was all hush hush and only select few knew the truth. Those people where powerful and making his family disappear would be a lot easier for them to do. Making two or three people disappear was going to bring some heat for Russel. Mostly because they all have a connection to Ann. After he helped Kyle disappear on a business he had been playing hard to get. She had to lay low they couldn't know each other anymore. This is when he started his little task force of his own.

Russel was in a mood when Lacey interrupted. "Dad when in Mom coming home" she was his mommies girl. He knew she was oblivious to the situation. She cared about shoes and makeup. She was always so cute and needed constant praises. Out of all his children she definitely was the least nosy. "Her plane comes home on Monday".

"Fine i guess i will just get fat then."

He turned around and she was holding his unwrapped dinner. She was glaring at him with distaste. She had just arrived home and apparently didn't approve. He planned to order her food and when she arrived. She was out with friends so he didn't exactly know if or when she was going to be home. This night was not going well at all.

"I am sure you will be fine for a couple of days. I miss mom too."

He walked over and gave her a little pat on the head. He couldn't pass up this opportunity. She was a vegetarian the pure fact she thought his food was hers. It was priceless. She squinted her eyes as she walked out of his office. Good thing she is cute because that girl probably doesn't know her ABC's.

ABC he was right it was a message. ABC is the beginning or the start. The start of what? Was it a warning? Was it a message? Was it a location? Ann always did make him work for the answer. Warning=beginning of the end beginning of…. How was this going to help him. Why would she send a Warning if it was that dire. That would be a black out. ABC message start from the beginning that made less logic then the first. Location the beginning was the bar. It has to be the location.

He pulled out his phone and did another call in order to a bar for chicken wings and a Cesar salad. He then added his favorite pick up driver to the list. Table 12 was on the ticket. He knew he would get the message. If a message was left for him.

Russel then walked out to see his daughter picking at her dinner, about ready to burst into tears. He almost wanted to see how fare she would go on this tangent.

"How about a salad"

Lacy looked up at her father with tears in her eyes. She just nodded as he hugged her head. "It's ok i miss mom too". He planted a small kiss on the crown of her head.

"By the way that was my food." Lacey look at her dad with embarrassment as she pushed the pile to the center of the table. She sat with a pouty face not knowing what to do.

The moment the order arrived he passed out the items. Making his home calm, as his stormed brewed inside him. The card read My children are in your hands. Orders for table 12 will come directly to me. Fallow the menu. Need to go under soon depending outcome.

It was clear she knew the risks. As did he. He had to go to the office. This was his mess to clean up.
