Over your dead body

Over my dead body!! He was serious. Troy could tell by the tightness of his face. These where not his memories. Cameron had no idea what it was like to have a blank square in your memory. Or how he felt complete for first time for only a few hours. To only find out his only chance to be whole again was impossible.

Cameron should have known better. He should have known Troy better then that. Troy's basic building block was pure will power. His truest and strongest potential came from that single element. She was his missing piece. He would never reach his truest self without her. Now he was the one standing between that vital piece.

Cameron knew that was a bad choice of words. The whole irony of the phase was still twisting his tongue and left an odd taste. The taste still lingered far past the emotion. It was similar to the taste of blood and was unforgettable. He definitely could have chosen a more sensitive phrase or played it more cautious. Cameron was just about to hear the wrath of his misguided terminology. He stood his ground because he knew better this time around. His answer was still no.

Hours later Cameron sat outside the hospital. He had lost and won at the same exact moment. His golden locks where cut short, he felt the need to run his fingers through them. Cameron hated losing even to win a bigger prize.

Troy used the information that wasn't available to him. He held a book that contained her information inside. One mistake because his biggest play. There was nothing Cameron could do now.

He took it when he put his books away on the plane. Knowing Jane she would never figure out where she lost it at. It contained her phone number probably where she lived and who knows what else. It wouldn't surprise him if she had used her identification card as a bookmark. Troy only needed to read it once so the hard copy was useless.

Russel was going to kill him if he ever found out. What Russel don't know won't hurt him. If he showed up on his front door step a fait worse then death fallowed.

Cameron made Troy promise to never ever let Russel know. He couldn't tell anyone even this pillow. This had to be under lock and key. Troy was formerly with hospitals so it shouldn't be an issue. With the keycard made by Cameron in the mid hours of the night. He was sure to go undetected. Also Cameron quickly logged into the cameras. Since he was already monitoring Jane it was kindergarten work for him.

The deal was one touch and he would never talk to her again. He would never track her down, call her, talk to her, date her or touch her in anyway. All of which he would do if it wasn't for his help. There was no way he could contain him completely. He was the "Nark" after all not the muscle.

Cameron nibbled on his finger tips as he watched Troy. He had to trust him because right now the only thing he could do is trip the fire alarm. Even that wouldn't stop Troy, Cameron was helpless and was kicking himself. How did he let Troy win again. He had a power of persuasion on his side. This is how he got through to him before. Working with Troy it was never one day at a time it was simpler then that. It is moments at a time, you can always choose to stop what you are doing, those moments count the most. That is always a win even if it is only ten minutes earlier then before. That was still ten more minutes you won your own battle. We all have battles inside use, she was his. He had aided him in his battle before and now Cameron was going to be the one to help him quit her.

Troy returned to the car it was just as he said one simple touch and he would drop it forever. She was still week and he could feel it the moment he touched her soft skin. She was all a mess and yet she glowed. He didn't know if she would fix his memories but she had definitely did something with just her sight and smell. That was going to have to last a lifetime. Only time can truly heal a person. That and a few TRN cells, he was counting on both of them.
