Halloween Special!

Renovatio sat on a wooden chair in a room full of five adults. Lucia, Hoshika, Trilla, Hiyori, and Allister. The group had been discussing October, the spooky month that terrorized most of the children in Namimori. It was also the 31st, Halloween is finally here and Renovatio could potentially traumatize his student.

"Well, we should let them all have fun. They aren't going to be experiencing this much fun as they grow older and be consumed into the worries of an adult. And it shouldn't be another test for Soichiro, Renovatio! I can tell by the smug smirk on your face that you plan on making Halloween his living hell." Allister boldly stated as Renovatio chuckled. Allister was correct; Renovatio intentionally made plans to force Soichiro and his friends to experience the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" or at the very least, reenact it. Renovatio glanced around and saw that the ladies in the room were glaring at him for thinking of such an evil plan. Lucia had her glock at the ready to shoot him in the chest for his next answer.

"Yes, you are right. They still are kids so we should treat them as such. Now... who volunteers to chaperone Soichiro as he tricks or treats?", Renovatio asked his companions and Hoshika raised her hand quickly. Turning her head to the right, she saw Hiyori had also raised her hand. Hiyori made an uneasy chuckle as Hoshika gave off an eerie vibe. "I think it should be me, Renovatio. I'd like to connect with the 12th generation of the Giove family! They all seem so lively and fun to talk to." Hiyori said as she bowed to Renovatio, practically pleading for the right to chaperone the kids.

"It should be me, Reno! I'm far more responsible than Hiyori to take care of the kids!"

"Didn't you endanger them all and had them in a illusion, that could have fried their brains?!"

"I ended the fight quickly though! That ronin wasn't as strong as I thought!"

"Still, you could've had them killed, regardless if they were in enemy territory! Jesus, you really are an animal."

"SAY THAT AGAIN, YOU FOUR EYED BIT-" Hoshika was forced to be quiet as Lucia stood up and fired a warning shot at the ceiling of the room they were all in. Allister's remaining eye bulged as he saw the glock in Lucia's hand, afraid he'd be the next thing she shot. Trilla, on the other hand, wasn't afraid of what she had in store for them since the blonde was drinking a cherry slushie from Sonic. "How about you both go? Two heads is better than one with these kids." Allister said as Lucia nodded, in agreement to Allister's words.

"Then it's decided. Igarashi Hiyori and Stella Giove will be watching over the kids tonight! If you have any objections, shoot them both in the head!", Renovatio shouted and the five adults flipped him off simultaneously. He laughed before disappearing in a puff of black smoke. A bat then suddenly lunged at Allister and the man fell out of his chair as his face was assaulted by the bat. "SOMEONE HELP ME, YOU PIECES OF SHIT!"

Soichiro sat on his bed, it was 9 am in the morning and he still didn't have the strength to get up. He figured that if he remained motionless, no one would come to check up on him and take him on to another crazy adventure. He really did not have the mental strength to go through another fight with any of the boys. "I just want to sleep all day... no worrying about Renovatio... no Yoruichi fighting with Odysseus about a game... just sleep." He wearily said as a bullet had been fired through his window. He shot up out of his bed and nearly had a heart attack as he saw Renovatio holding a bag. A brown bag that contained something... bad, maybe?

Renovatio definitely didn't strike anyone as a person to bring gifts, much less to a boy like Soichiro. "COME OUT, SOICHIRO TSUKUBA!! YOU'VE GOT TO SEE THIS!!", Renovatio excitedly shouted from outside the boys home and Soichiro sighed heavily as he put on a leather jacket. He hadn't bothered to take off his pajamas and wear formal attire, because why? It was a weekend and he wasn't going to waste his time even further to dress up for God knows what? "And to think this guy is the greatest assassin...", Soichiro thought as he put on his slippers and walked out to his front door.

Soichiro, tired, walked up to Renovatio and threw a slow punch at the man's chest. Renovatio felt a tickle and laughed for a bit, but held up a photo of Hiyori and Hoshika together. From what Soichiro could tell, the two were not happy being next to each other and had their weapons out. "Does everyone in the mafia have some lust for blood?!", the boy shouted in concern for the two women and Renovatio titled his head sideways. He would neither confirm nor deny Soichiro's assumption. "These two will be chaperoning for you and your friends tonight. They may act like wild animals but they are really responsible. I think..." Renovatio trailed off as Soichiro was greatly alarmed by his words.

oichiro sat on the couch in the living room due to Hoshika's instructions. He would rather obey the older woman than not listen to her. She was really scary when she's angry! Soichiro heard the doorbell being pushed rapidly, the sounds of birds chirping ringed in his ears as he opened the front door. In front of him was Yoruichi, who was dressed in a costume. Though, it appears that he had been cosplaying as someone from a... TV show? Movie? Soichiro couldn't tell.

"What are you supposed to be, Yoruichi-san?" Soichiro asked him and Yoruichi held up a chainsaw in his hands. Yoruichi was wearing a white long sleeved shirt, the sleeves had been rolled up to his elbows and he wore a black tie. He also wore black slacks, which was a shock to Soichiro. "I thought you read manga, Boss! I'm Denji from Chainsaw man!!", Yoruichi excitedly said as he revved up the chainsaw and Soichiro ran from him. The poor boy was scared to death by his own friend. The betrayal felt so unreal!!

Soichiro, now on unconscious on the floor, was put on the couch with an ice bag on his face. Yoruichi was busy apologizing to Hoshika, on the phone, for scaring Soichiro like that and pleaded to not be suspended from the family. "Just watch him until we get there! Hiyori wanted to go buy some food for us all until its time to go TRICK OR TREATING. Also, GET RID OF THAT CHAINSAW, BOY! HOW YOU EVEN GOT IT IS EVEN MORE SCARY!" Hoshika shouted at Yoruichi through the phone and he sighed. She then hung up on him and Yoruichi waited for everyone else to get there. He had originally planned on taking Soichiro away from the house so the two could have an early trick or treating. Maybe even a haunted house!

Yoruichi's ears perked up as he heard the doorbell ring and he rushed to open the door.  The self proclaimed left hand of Giove XII stood in front of Yoruichi, dressed as a character from the Canadian TV series... TOTAL DRAMA ISLAND! Hotaru wore a tight green shirt, lime green leggings, and a yellow jacket was wrapped around her waist. She had also dyed her hair orange just for this very special day! "I know it doesn't look like her actual outfit buttttttttt I decided to improvise! My mom said she was too busy making my little sister's costume so I made my own! It looks fabulous, doesn't it?!", Hotaru asked our sunny boy and he... couldn't find an answer. He gave her a bowl of cheese puffs and sat down on a chair. Hotaru was gloating on how cute her costume was to the now awake Soichiro and he was internally begging for her to shut up.

Next person who walked in was Odysseus. The teenager was wearing an orange shirt with the words "HALF BLOOD" printed boldly on the center of it. He wore blue jeans with a tear below the kneecaps and brown shoes. A streak of white went through his hair and he gave off... otherworldly vibes. "My costume looks great, right Hotaru?", Odysseus asked the girl and she gave him a thumbs up with her cheesy finger. Soichiro's face met his palm as he watched Hotaru and Odysseus chat about how their outfits look. "I think yours looks better, Odysseus! Who are you dressing up as?" Yoruichi said and Odysseus raised his arms slowly as they all could hear dolphins from miles away. Soichiro was amazed by Odysseus and clapped his hands as he bowed.

"So you're Aquaman!", Hotaru exclaimed and Odysseus was shocked by her assumption. What made her think that the character he was dressed as was Aquaman!?! "Have you never read a book in your life!?" Odysseus asked Hotaru and she casually replied with a cheese puff being thrown at him.

"I've read books! Just not the ones you're reading!", she shouted at him and threw another cheese puff at him. He dodged both of them and stood behind Yoruichi, the only one in the room to be wearing white clothing. Yoruichi sighed before he was hit in the gut with a bowl. Soichiro stood amid the chaos and had tears rolling down his cheeks. "You guys are crazy!" He shouted.

Soon, the fighting had stopped due to Hiyori and Hoshika's presence. Lucci had waltzed into the room, wearing a skeleton outfit and ran around the room. He was enjoying bothering everyone and stole pieces of candy from Hoshika without her noticing it. What a little troublemaker! Soichiro looked at the front door and hid behind the couch as Hiyori opened the door. "Hello, Arisa! Whose this handsome guy you brought with you?", Hiyori said as Soichiro peeked over the couch and saw the guy standing next to her. Soichiro felt a small wave of jealousy wash over him and continued to watch from behind the scenes. "It's just Kaname! He's coming to collect candy for my mom, since she's too sick to go out today." Arisa told Hiyori with a sad face.

Hiyori gave her a bucket full of candy and helped her dump it into Kaname's bag. Kaname had a very pale face, it was as white as snow, and his red eyes seemed to be filled with blood. He wore a cloak around him and if you could see the back, it had a "bat" symbol on it. His red eyes noticed Soichiro peeking at him and scoffed before reaching for his batons. "IS HE SERIOUSLY GOING TO FIGHT ME IN MY OWN HOUSE?!", Soichiro screamed in his head and Hiyori had paid no attention to Kaname's movements.

"Arisa, if you ever need anything, let me know. And I heard Soichiro has something to tell you~!", she teasingly said as Arisa's face went red from the thought of Soichiro. Steam was literally coming out of her head and Kaname sighed as he helped her walk away from the house. "As Count Kaname, Lady Arisa, I shall take you to your private quarters!" Kaname said in a respectful tone as he walked down the street.

"Count Kaname?! Does that mean he was a vampire!?" Soichiro asked himself and Yoruichi wrapped his arm around Soichiro's neck. Smiling brightly, Yoruichi gave his boss an encouraged smile. "Boss! We'll have fun during Halloween! Go get your costume and we'll dash off as soon as possible. Except Lucci, he's asleep because of the sugar rush." Yoruichi said as Soichiro saw Lucci's leg twitching as he slept. All eyes had been on him now; everyone was waiting for the boy to get into his costume so they could trick or treat. "It wouldn't feel right if we didn't trick or treat without you, big boss. Get ready in five minutes, all the kids are marching on the street!" Odysseus gave Soichiro a light shove to the stairs and Soichiro let out a sigh before rushing to his bed room.

"I wonder what he'll dress up as!" Hotaru said aloud and everyone began to make their assumptions.

"Probably Iron Man. That boy loves superheroes, especially Marvel heroes." Hoshika threw in her thought.

"Oh, maybe a ninja turtle! I think he likes those guys, considering how most of his bandannas are green!" Hiyori said with a cheeky smile.

"Wait, how do you even know that-"

"Maybe... just maybe... he'll dress up as someone from a scary movie. Probably Jason from Friday the 13th." Yoruichi said as he held out 10¥ in front of everyone and they all couldn't help but bet on him.

"I bet 15¥ that he's going as Baam!" Odysseus said as he got looks of confusion from most of the people in the room. "Read books people..."

Heavy steps could be heard from the stairs and the sound effect of a chainsaw being turned on was loud enough for everyone to hear. Hoshika glared at Yoruichi, but he held up his hands in surrender. He definitely hid the chainsaw from everyone else.

Jumping on the ground with a loud stomp, a young boy wearing a blue jumpsuit and a white mask stood in front of them all. Hiyori and Hoshika took a few pictures of Soichiro in his costume, while everyone else paid Yoruichi 10¥. Odysseus tried to run from Yoruichi but Yoruichi grabbed him by his collar and robbed him of his money. "You look amazing Boss! Let's go trick or treatin'!" Yoruichi let out a wild whoop along with everyone else following suit and they all dashed out of the house. Brown sacks in hand, Soichiro and his friends stormed the streets, going from one house to another for candy.

Arisa, being supervised by Izana because Kaname was busy fighting a werewolf, watched Soichiro laugh while being carried on Yoruichi's shoulder. Izana placed a hand on Arisa's hair and smiled, "You like that boy, don't you? Why not go hang out with him?" Izana asked as she chuckled at the sight of Kaname dragging Kenji(?), the werewolf, towards them.

Arisa placed a hand on her chest and her orange eyes stayed focused on Soichiro for a few seconds. "I... don't know how to feel about him. He's such a nice guy, I never really noticed him until his friends came around. He used to be so scared of being around other people, it was almost frightening to stand near him. But... I'm glad I've got to know the real him! He's an amazing friend that I'll be stealing candy from!" Arisa said as she ran after Soichiro and Izana watched with a smug smile on her face. Kaname face palmed himself as he realized he would have to deal with Izana by himself. Kenji(?) howled at the moon and sighed.

"Hey! I hope you guys have an amazing Halloween too. Don't eat too much candy, that is! We'll see you next time on 12th family Chronicles!" Izana shouted at the readers and Kaname rubbed his eye lids before punching the 4th wall.

"Don't forget: Brush your teeth after you are finished eating your candy. And save some for later, don't just eat it all in one gulp. Anyway, Izana, you still up to rob some of these kids?"

"Fine, but if we get caught, I don't know you."
