Kaname glanced towards Lucci, who was currently fidgeting uncontrollably as the Kokuyo Middle school boys looked down on them both. They all had looked pleased to stand higher than Kaname, a boy who had kept most of the schools in check, and because of that... they must have wanted revenge. In the windows, Kaname could see a few girls watching in both horror and shock at the look of him with his new batons. This was not going to end well if Lucci could just slip away for him to be rid of any superfluous thoughts. Lowering his batons, he turned to face Lucci and knelt down to look him dead in the eyes. Lucci saw what seemed to be a beast in a cage in Kaname's crimson eyes, a red animal that looked to be more dangerous than what he's seen so far in his life. Lucci was inclined to shut his eyes but he couldn't. Kaname would slap him if he did.
"I'm probably going to regret asking but WHAT did you do to make them this angry? Kenji never resorts to involving little kids in our feud." Kaname told Lucci with an irritated look on his face. He found Lucci to be an annoying and spoiled little brat, even though he barely knew the kid. Kaname faces Kenji, who was standing in a room while facing Kaname. Their eyes told a story that no one else knew and probably will never know. Kaname pointed his baton at Kenji, beckoning the boy to come over, but Kenji just laughed at his taunt and raised his hand as a signal to the boys around them. Kaname scoffed, "Just like always. Hiding behind someone when you know I can beat you, without the need of my batons. Come on out, Kenji before I get even more angry." Kaname shouted and heard the laughter of 99% of the boys in the area. Kokuyo Middle was full of Jack asses who couldn't manage to come close to beating him in a fair fight.
Lucci moved to Kaname's left side and clutched his arm in fear of what the students planned to do to them. Kaname scoffed at him before rubbing his chin with a small grin. Even though it wasn't necessarily a fair match up, Kaname had been sure that he was able to take them all down with the help of his new batons. "They may look like a policeman's standard batons, but they have a few hidden tricks. I feel... a bit guilty for not giving these guys a handicap, but they are planning to fight me. Then one question remains: How exactly do they plan on beating me? We all couldn't fight in such a closeted space." Kaname had thought as Kenji was whispering to someone behind him. Kaname nor Lucci could make out who that person was but they gave off a familiar evil presence. Almost similar to that of Bakura's-No, it was exactly like his! Why was he still here in Namimori?! Lucci panicked at the thought of being near Bakura, let alone fighting him, and had the 10-year Bazooka in his hand.
From up top, Kenji had his eyes fixed on Lucci and Kaname held out a hand to guard the boy if anyone dared to pull a sneak attack. "Since you've come into my district, you have officially trespassed onto private property. I told you to leave and none of this would have happened. The boy would be with that crazy woman, stealing candy from the other children and such. But now... you play under MY rules. With the help of a new friend, I will acquire a new form of power that shall make even YOU break. After all, he did say you've lost to him a week or two ago." Kenji boldly shouted down to Kaname and Lucci was frightened by the dark aura radiating from Kaname. "It's-its all over for us!" , Lucci thought as Kaname had smiled at Kenji.
The crimson eyes of Kaname's made a hundred boys shake in their boots. "You really think you can compete with me? You don't even COMPARE to me." Kaname stated as he watched Kenji put a black ring on his index finger. The ring had the shape of a silver skull while the "eyes" of the skull were pitch black. Kenji felt a bit uneasy on wearing the ring; It gives off the death and demon souls vibe as he stared at it. The new acquaintance of his was just as suspicious as the ring.
---------
Two days after Soichiro "defeated" Bakura
Kenji, the "boss" of Kokuyo Middle, had been sitting at a park. It was a school day for most kids in Japan but for him? It was a day off. Kenji was usually keeping watch on over 200 kids at his school, which is saying ALOT, happened to be relaxing at the park without a care in the world. The birds chirped excitedly as crumbs of bread was thrown in the air from Kenji. "Kaname would probably say something about me being a cheapskate feeding the birds with some low priced bread." Kenji said to himself and chuckled as a few pigeons flew past him.
Standing up, any normal civilian in the park would notice the uneven appearance of Kenji. He wore a black blazer jacket with a white collared shirt and a violet tie. On his wrists were two wristbands, both checkered red and black. As for the lower part of his body, he wore slim light blue cargo pants. Kenji would score an -20 if his school had a fashion show and he would be ridiculed for the rest of his life. His style of fashion definitely made a few girls throw up just by being near him.
Noticing the looks from a few adults, Kenji walked in the opposite direction of them and left. Once he stepped foot onto the streetwalk, his ears perked up at the roar of a mighty engine. Glancing to his right, his eyes widened in fear as a white convertible was headed right for him. He couldn't exactly make out who had been the driver but it was far too late for him to move out of the way. He was powerless to prevent his own death... much less by some stupid car!
.....
A flash of white met Kenji's eyes and the boy felt his body being sent sky high. "So an Angel is carrying me to heaven...? I can't believe I died so easily-", Kenji's train of thought was interrupted and shut down quickly as he was flung onto the ground. Opening his eyes, his entire world was shaking as he had completely lost all sense of balance. Staring ahead, he saw a young man sitting on a chair with two bottles of pop. Examining him, trying his absolute best to be discreet about it, Kenji had noticed the the man in front of him had taken a few injuries prior to their meeting. "Was he... hit by Kaname's batons?! Kaname rarely uses them and only THEY can make damage like that. There's no way his ribs aren't broken- how is he even breathing properly?!", Kenji thought as a wave of concern washed over his body.
"Don't bother worrying about the exact details, but me and Kaname had clashed. He is a truly worthy adversary that forced even ME to my knees. And as for why I'm still alive...? Well, you'll find out shortly. My name is Bakura, a pleasure to meet you, Kenji." Bakura politely said as he threw a soda bottle at Kenji and the boy caught it. The tension in the air was heavy; It filled Kenji's lungs with what felt like a thousand rocks. Bakura's presence alone was able to load unbridled fear inside Kenji's heart. The silver haired male had a dagger in his left hand now and flipped it upside down. The moment it had left his hand, the dagger had completely vanished!
Kenji was astonished by Bakura's action! "It disappeared... right after you threw it! Just where did it go!?", Forgetting the danger he was in, Kenji's eyes sparked with curiosity and Bakura had a crooked smile on his face. A white mist began to surround the room they both had been in and Kenji stood alone. He could feel that it had been cold inside the room and shivered furiously as he called out for Bakura. "Bakura! Where did you go?! I can't see you in this mist!", he shouted aloud as he took five steps forward. His body then collided with a wall and Kenji fell onto his back, rubbing his bruised nose while holding back his cries.
It was apparent that Kenji was not going to find Bakura so easily, especially in this kind of environment. "The hell did I walk into? I can't see a wall or anything like that in this fog.", Kenji thought as Bakura could be heard cackling into his ears. Kenji covered his ears as his laughter was becoming unbearable for him to hear; It was as if he had been listening to 3 lions roar at the same time. "PLEASE STOP, I CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE!", Kenji shouted so loudly that his throat was hurting from it. However, Bakura chose to heed his wish and the mist slowly disappeared from Kenji's vision. The middle schooler could feel the warmth from the sun and let out a sigh of relief.
"Kenji, sorry about that. I had to make sure you understood that you are below me. You are a hundred, no-a thousand times weaker than the one who stands before you. As of now, I, Bakura, command you to obey me as your new master. You will follow my every order as of now. Or do you prefer the easy way out? I promise you, it isn't really so 'easy." Bakura said with his arrogant smile and Kenji whimpered in fear as he slowly stood up to see Bakura's face clearly. Bakura had something silver in his hand, an item that was screaming for Kenji. "This ring has been chosen and made for YOU. Do not let this ring get destroyed, or you will be rendered powerless to do any of the tasks that I have laid out for you. I'd just HATE if I had to get rid of my new pet so early. So treasure it with your life." Bakura said as the ring was being placed on Kenji's middle finger.
"Y-yes sir, Master Bakura!"
"Good mutt."
--------
In the present time:
Kenji remembered his first encounter with Bakura and kept a cool head as he looked down on Kaname. He could feel the pure rage from Kaname's red eyes within his heart. "Kaname... your anger is the key to defeating Bakura. I don't know what happened between the two of you, but Bakura has such a huge grudge against you that he almost sent his entire cult to kill you. Even I know thats too many people for you! So... work with me here." Kenji's desperation for Kaname's help was seen through by Lucci, our 10 year old hitman. Lucci jumped onto Kaname's back and wrapped his arms around the crimson eye boy, "Kaname, sorry! But we have to beat Kenji quickly before Bakura knows what we are planning." Lucci whispered into Kaname's ear and he rolled his eyes. Kaname, in truth, could care less about what a BRAT like Lucci has to say and ignored the 10 year old without much trouble.
Lucci knew Kaname would ignore him and pulled his hair to make him understand that he was being 100% serious. Kaname let out a crippling yell and fell to his knees, his batons dropping to the ground. "L-let go of my h-hair, you little bastard!" Kaname yelled at Lucci and the boy shook his head in a furious matter. He refused to even let go of a single inch of his hair until Kaname was ready to listen to his idea. Kenji's mouth was agape as he witnessed Lucci and Kaname bicker over his hair. Behind his stoic face, Kenji was truly shocked that they were so carefree in a situation like this. "Yeah... I'm gonna die serving this insane maniac! Oh, why couldn't his grandpa be here!?! He'd take the hint so easily!", Kenji nervously thought as a roll of sweat went down his cheek.
"It's time I let the games begin, Kaname! We will take participation in a fight that has been set up by my lord Bakura. I hope you have brought everything you needed because the fight starts..." Kenji hadn't bothered to finish his sentence as he vanished in a puff of black smoke. Where he once stood (a room in one of the abandoned buildings) was now hidden away as a boarded up window to conceal Bakura's presence. Kaname gritted his teeth even more than before, I'm almost certain that his teeth was going to shatter into a million pieces because of his anger! This is slow fight is beginning to piss off Kaname twice as much as before.
"Just come down here and face me! You gray coward! If you don't come out now, I'll just force you-", Kaname stopped mid-sentence as Lucci pulled his hair upwards. You would've thought he was Jimmy Neutron with black hair because Lucci almost laughed at his ally. In a white flash, a metal pole had been sent downwards to Kaname. However, he had already been expecting this as he blocked the pole with his batons in an X-like guard. Kaname attempted to kick his attacker in the knee but Kenji quickly raised his left leg and performed a roundhouse kick to the right side of Kaname's head.
The force of that kick was so powerful that it literally sent Kaname crashing into a wall of one of the buildings. Coughing from the dust created, Kaname could still feel Lucci pulling on his hair and heard the 10 year old holding back his cries. "Just when the hell did Kenji get so strong? He could only attain that strength... if he was put through hell.", Kaname was trying his best to think of a quick strategy as he now has realized it would be suicide to charge right in without a plan of attack. He contemplated on asking the brat for any bright ideas but he figured Lucci would just cry for some candy. "And having this little bastard on my back really slows me down. I need to get rid of him before Kenji attacks again!" And within the blink of an eye, Kaname's crimson eyes sparked with stars as he forcibly had Lucci get off of his back and lifted the kid into his arms. "Like Tom Brady, I just have to go... LONG!" Kaname shouted.
This idiot threw Lucci at Kenji without even giving the kid a warning for possible concussions. Kenji's eyes widened in surprise as Lucci was being sent straight at him. Now you may wonder what Lucci was thinking of as in this moment. I can give you one small hint: "MOMMY!!", Lucci screamed as he flew past Kenji and into a wall. Kenji grimaced as he saw Lucci's body in a bloody mess. "Jesus, Kaname! Do you really have no heart!?! That was a child!" Kenji shouted as he turned around to see Kaname's right baton inches away from reaching his neck. In that split second, Kenji moved his head back as the baton just passed his neck like how 2020 ended.
Kaname dropped his right baton and spun around with a grin on his face. Remembering Kenji's first attack, wouldn't it be better to give him a taste of his own medicine? The heel of Kaname's foot was slammed into the left side of Kenji's head and Kenji was forced to jump back after taking damage.
Kenji glanced at the ring Bakura gave him the first day they had met. Bakura was watching them, he expected Kenji to put on a good show for a little while before he himself stepped in. "In order to stall for time... I have to make Kaname understand that I am not the enemy. And that kid he tossed was his only chance at knowing this! God damn you, Kaname! You make my life so much worse!!", Kenji thought as he clenched his gray staff as if his entire life depended on it (and it surely did!). Kenji closed his eyes, removing the thoughts of Kaname and Bakura from his mind, solely focusing on the ring that was given to him.

Yes, another flash back! Shut up.
A few days ago....
Kenji stood in a white room that had scratch marks and burns everywhere. The scratch marks resembled that of bear claws but it seemed highly unlikely that Bakura would let an animal such as that inside his hideout.
After Kenji was taken in by Bakura, the dagger wielding man had made it his duty to train Kenji to deal with people even more powerful than himself. Of course, Kenji didn't believe that there would be anyone stronger than Bakura. He had witnessed Bakura strangle a white panda without the slightest sign of remorse, showing that he cares naught for the lives of the animals or the weak.
"Oh don't worry, there may be a dozen of people stronger than I but it does not matter. As of now, I can care less for my other enemies... if you can call them that. Instead, I'm more concerned on teaching YOU on how to manifest your... flame. That ring that you wear on your middle finger... is a cloud ring." Bakura coldly said as Kenji felt as if he had been struck in the heart by Bakura's seemingly harsh words. Bakura's silver hair had levitate as he held up his right hand, revealing a ring with a violet crystal in the middle of it. "And I will be the one to demonstrate my power to you! You are the first to ever witness me use this ring in action!" Bakura cackled as Kenji's face was filled with terror.
A violet flame had confined the crystal on Bakura's ring and the entire room began to shake from the intense pressure the flame was giving off. Kenji could feel the bones in his body rattle as Bakura laughed even louder. The bastard did enjoy seeing Kenji scared shitless most of the time. 13 black spears had surrounded Bakura and spun around him until they abruptly stopped. Kenji found the spears to be launched at him and he quickly fell to the ground. Kenji rolled to the side as snakes had been on the floor next to him. They hissed and slithered their way to him, forcing Kenji to cry for help and he ran around the room trying to escape the snakes.
"YEEEHAHAHAHA! YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE! YOU WERE LIKE 'AAH! MOMMY!'!" Bakura busted out laughing hysterically as the snakes began to dissolve into thin air. Kenji found himself on the ground, trying his absolute best to maintain his sanity and clutching his chest. His heart would probably stop functioning if Bakura continued to keep scaring him like this. "Lord B-Bakura... weren't you supposed to... t-teach me something?", Kenji asked as he got up and dusted himself off. Bakura seemingly had quickly forgotten about this as he was tormenting Kenji and coughed as if to give a sign to never bring this up again.
"That was a demonstration of the power given to me by the ring. In order for you to understand the aspects of the ring, I'll have to tell you about the... Seven Dying Will Flames. You'll find it a bit easier to grasp than me just telling you to think of a goal or something." Bakura stated as glasses appeared on his faces and he coughed once again to clear his throat as he begins to explain the flames. Kenji had a notepad out in case he loses track of what Bakura says! Get a notepad or a piece of paper kids!
"There are Seven Dying Will Flames of the Sky. Sky, Sun, Cloud, Rain, Thunder, Storm, and Mist. Each of these seven flames have their own unique purpose and vast destructive power. For example, I have the Mist flame. The mist flame gives us the power of illusions, varying from keeping us hidden as inanimate objects or weapons. It just really depends on the creativity and imagination a mist user has. The essence of the mist flame is deception, You can never tell what a mist user is going to do.
Back to the main topic. Every human being possesses one of these flames, including yourself. The flames are a high-quality form of energy that is manifested through a person's life force. So you'd can call it your life energy in the form of a flame.
So, do you know which of the seven dying will flames you possess? From the look on your face, you don't. Kenji! You are a cloud flame user, one of the most versatile flames in the existence of the mafia. You should feel lucky that mere trash can be born with such a powerful flame!
Now, all we have to do is make you light up that ring of yours. By then, you will have unlocked a hidden power. Are you ready to begin your training, Kenji?", Bakura stated as his glasses shined brightly as he let out a hysterical laugh.

End of Flashback. Haha. Bitch-
Present time!
"As much as I hate to admit it, I don't think Kaname has any experience fighting against cloud flames. Does he even know about them? Definitely not. I heard from Bakura that he was just recently thrown into the world of the mafia. So it's likely that whom ever he is working with hadn't bothered to warn him of the dangers he faces without a ring! But it doesn't matter now. All that matters is that we entertain Bakura long enough until he gets bored and finishes Kaname off. Once he steps foot near us, we'll take him by surprise... I hope." Kenji boldly thought as his ring began to glow an ominous purple light. It had, in fact, blinded nearly everyone in the vicinity. Kaname had to hold up his arms to block the blinding light from his vision.
"Kaname! Earlier, you once said that I couldn't compare to you. You're correct, I cannot be compared to such a weakling like yourself. I don't know why your grandpa chose you to be his successor of his company! Why would he want an indecisive and naive brat as his replacement?! That old fart never ceases to amaze me." Kenji shouted at his opponent and Kaname's eyes became similar to that of a dragon. Behind his arms, Kenji knew that Kaname was glaring at him with such anger that the ground around him was beginning to crack.
"My resolve..." Kenji started to speak as his staff began to be confined in purple flames. The light from before vanished as Kaname examined the staff. The purple flames that had been on the staff was... unstable, it looked as if it was trying to burn everyone around it. Kenji tapped the ground with the staff and Kaname focused his gaze on the Kokuyo Middle schooler.
Kenji then proceeded to vanish again. Kaname frantically looked around for his prey, no where to be seen. Kaname's eyes had looked up to see Kenji high in the air, the staff pointed at Kaname. Kenji cackled as a purple ball of fire was shot at Kaname, a boy who had no knowledge of how to deal with such an attack. Jumping to the right just before the ball of fire had any chance of hitting him head-on, he laughed like a madman until something dangerously hot had struck him in the stomach. Looking down, he saw the purple ball of fire that he dodged from before had ended up hitting him.
"I'm sure... I dodged it...!", Kaname said as he was sent back a few meters from where he was originally standing. Still being able to walk, Kaname was trying to figure out what the key to that trick was. It definitely has something to do with the staff but... what else is there to it? "THERE'S NO TIME TO THINK, YOU FOOL!" Kenji shouted as his staff had been thrown at Kaname and the boy rushed forward. Baton in hand, he knocked away Kenji's staff and leaped in the air to put Kenji back in his place.
Throwing his batons higher, Kaname proceeded to send a 13 punch barrage at Kenji. Any normal human bystander would have seen nothing but blobs of flesh being pressed against... a staff!?! How the hell did Kenji already get a staff? Kaname was sure that he had seen Kenji throw it away. Sending his right knee into Kenji's groin, Kaname smiled as Kenji dropped the staff and fell to the ground. What kind of trick had Kenji performed earlier, though? It must have something to do with those purple flames, didn't it? Kaname really wanted to know the answer behind that question, however he had a huge problem.
Once his body hit the cold ground, Kenji rolled to his left side and acquired his staff once again. Though, he threw it into the air and flicked his fingers. "Jigen: Piercing Blades." Kenji said as the staff had... 13 others floating beside it!?! The ends of the staffs had been sharpened. It was like a pitch fork, except only one sharp end instead of four. "These 'blades' of mine can penetrate even the toughest of metals. Just from that, I'm sure that you know you wouldn't be able to survive a direct hit from them. But the chances of you evading them are... let's say 5%? Maybe if you had listened to your friend, you wouldn't be in this situation. So prepare yourself, Kaname!" Kenji bellowed with a sinister smile.
"Damn him... he's right that I can't dodge even three of those damn things. But... even the toughest jewel can break, Kenji! You're in for a nasty beating, you bastard." Kaname said as he cackled as his batons were now in his hands, only in a reverse grip. "Let's see... who can outlast the other!"
--------
Okay, okay, I broke my promise then! Haha...
Bakura: I don't think they'll be happy about that. I mean, breaking a promise is like breaking a PS5.
No, no it isn't. And how the hell do you even know about a PS5?
Bakura: Twitter! Everyone on Twitter has tweeted that they'll be stealing PS5'S or selling the ones they currently own over a thousand bucks.
...
Kaname: THAT DIRTY BASTARD! HE'S USING SOME SORT OF TRICK TO BEAT ME! I'LL KILL HIM! I SWEAR!
Bakura: Doubt it, Kaname. You were having trouble keeping up with him even before he used those "tricks".
Kaname: HOW ABOUT WE DECIDE THAT WITH THE NEXT CHAPTER RELEASES, HUH!?!
Bakura: Okay, fine. I'll bet 30 grand that you'll lose in the next chapter~
Kaname: And I'll bet 50 grand that I kick your ass!
Ignoring those two, I'll most definitely be making a schedule for chapters. Maybe two a week will be enough! Anyways, hope you all have a great weekend! Bye!
Lucci: Wait, your just gonna end it like that!?! What happened to me!?! Am I still alive???
You're here, aren't you?
Lucci: THAT DOESN'T ANSWER THE QUESTION-
Connection Terminated.
