Conclusive Evidence

Catherine had a feeling that Mary and Millie had other intentions besides belittling her.

Millie had used her connections to get into Wellings, so how could she speak with such confidence?

Had Mary used her connections not just with herself, but with the Kate Family? Was that why the two of them were so arrogant in front of her?

Although she felt a little angry, she had come out better off under the verbal attack of both sides.

However, Mary and Millie were in for a bad time. Not only did they use the Kate Family's name, but they also cause a scene within the company. They did not pay any attention to the grace and bearing of a high-class person.

Perhaps she could also publish an article on Mary Kate in the future. It would be a great read. Just as Catherine was wandering aimlessly in the street, the phone in Catherine's pocket suddenly rang.

It was not Catherine's own phone, but Bob's. The Caller ID was blocked. Needless to say, it had to be 'that guy'.

In order to silence the phone's weird ringtone, Catherine quickly answered the phone.

"I just can't stand the kids nowadays" Catherine complained. She looked at the clock on the opposite building helplessly and continued, "But you're still as reliable as before. Is there anything you can't hack?"

"Your Majesty, you flatter me. Your phone is one thing I can't hack."

"Alright, let's get down to business. It's 8:15 now. You have 15 minutes to complete this call. I think this should be enough for you."

"Don't worry, Your Majesty, there's enough time. I'll start combing through the clues that I've tracked down. The defendant in this lawsuit was accused by the prosecution of having in his house a collection of standard clothing and props similar to those used by cults organizing rallies. Moreover, a certain amount of marijuana was found in the defendant's house. The defendant insisted during the preliminary hearing that he was being manipulated by someone, and the defendant also claimed that he did not know anything about the possession of drugs."

"Being manipulated? Can you be more specific?"

"Wait a moment, I'll transmit some video and photographic evidence from the prosecution during the first trial."

Not long after, Catherine received a message on her phone.

"These photos were presented as evidence from the prosecution during the first trial."

"What are the charges against the defendant? What's the attitude of the jury?"

"The prosecution has accused the defendant of endangering public safety. The jury at the first trial also had different opinions among themselves, but they generally agreed that the defendant was guilty."

"Not bad, you're quite capable. You've basically investigated everything that I wanted to know," Catherine said.

"Other than these, there are also some other clues that I've analyzed in the photos. You can read them in detail in the message."

"Now I know why Spider likes you so much."

"Thank you for your praise, Your Majesty. Lady Spider and I are only partners. I only serve you now to repay you for saving me back then."

"At least your expertise isn't wasted is it?"

"You could say that. That's all the information I've gathered. I think for a report, these materials should be more than enough. After all, the details of this case are still unclear to the public. Other than you, there is no other unrelated person who can get so much information about the case."

"Thank you for your help, baby. It's really helpful."

"Oh, by the way, there's something I forgot to tell you. The name of the defendant this time is Sarah Will."

"You mean..." Catherine felt that this surname was familiar.

"Yes, it's the original owner of the phone that you're currently using – Bob's mother. I'll send you the basic information about the defendant later. Please check it at your convenience."
