Kill Me

Lillian slowly walked down the stairs. The mansion was darker than usual thanks to the cloudy sky outside. She glanced at the clouds which were dangerously looming above. They looked closer than usual because they were high up on the hills and if a storm came, she would be seeing it up front.

The prospect of seeing a storm up so close scared her a little. She was not fond of thunderstorms at all. But there was nothing she could do about it.

"Madam."

She turned around to find Elora standing there. "Are you feeling alright now?" she asked.

"I'm better," Lillian smiled. "Thank you for the porridge."

"But madam, you didn't finish it," Elora said a little hesitantly. "The doctor had ordered you to finish it all."

"I'm not really hungry," Lillian admitted. The strange nightmare coupled with the fear of being under Lucas' constant scrutiny had killed her appetite. 

"Madam, please eat something," Elora gently insisted. "I-"
