The dreaded mafia lord, Lucas Hao, is known as the Demon of the Underworld. Ruling all the gangs with an iron fist, he instills fear in anyone who crosses paths with him. But the nightmares he buried a long time ago returns in the form of one woman: Lillian. 

Unaware of their shared connection, Lillian is initially fearful of the Demon of the Underworld.

But soon, she finds herself drawn to her husband, like a moth to a flame while the darkly dangerous mafia lord cannot resist the irresistible charm of his wife. 

She is his light. He is her doom. 

What will happen to this complicated love? Can they overcome all obstacles and live a happy life? Or will their nightmares ruin their newfound happiness? 

“Let the game begin!” Lucas declared.

 “What will I get if I win?” Lillian demanded. He put a finger under her chin to make her meet his eyes. 

“My heart,” he whispered.

Trials of Fire & Love

"Woah!" Lillian and Elora gasped at their surroundings. They were gaping at the large Victorian style mansion which lay in front of them. It was situated at the most lavish part of town with a beautiful garden which was almost as large as Lucas' mansion itself. There was a giant fountain with the statue of a fairy pouring water from her pot while several cherubs surrounded her.

The mansion itself was made of pure marble. Slanted rooftop was made of dark jade stones with Italian style towers in several places. The entrance was adorned with flowers and vines, intertwining into beautiful arcs.

"Come in," Stella offered. Lillian and Elora glanced backwards to see that their guards had followed them from a distance but seeing the high level security in the mansion, Lillian felt that there was no need for guards. Stella and Jeremy punched in their individual pass codes and the door flew open for them.
