Ellie

"Yep, after all, I was the one who caused the floor to collapse, and there was a huge hole." said Ena.

"'Eh?""

They all had shocked expressions on their faces, they didn't believe a little girl could cause so much damage.

"Did you think we would believe you if you said that?" asked Ellie.

"Nope, I don't expect you to. But, what I just said is a fact, I was the one who caused it." said Ellie.

"Is there any proof? It's not like what you said is absurd, we just want proof." said Ellie.

Ena could see they were all trying to hold in their giggles, she didn't blame them. If an eight year old said she made the floor which was constructed by the best builders of the royal family and killed all of the mutants that were sprawled all over the ground.

It really was unbelievable, however, this was the truth.

"Hmm, proof..." Ena pondered for a moment on how to show proof, suddenly, an idea popped into her mind, "How about I spar with one of you guys?"

""Spar?!""

"You want to spar with them, princess?" asked Marie.

"Yep, since they don't believe me." said Ena.

"R-relax princess, I don't think they meant it that way, you might get extremely...hurt." said Marie.

"Marie, trust me. I'll be fine, now, who will take the chance to spar with me?" asked Ena.

All of them wanted to joke around, but Ena's serious face made them stop. Although what she said was abnormal, they had a strange feeling that Ena wasn't kidding.

"I'll spar with you." said Ellie.

"Really? Are you sure?" asked Ena.

"Of course, Mary told me that you were quite the genius at fighting too, so I want to see for myself." said Ellie.

"I guess that's fair, but keep in mind, my magic is different from your magic. But that doesn't mean it's stronger than yours, it's all about our skills." said Ena.

"I don't need an eight year old telling me that, let's get onto the spar." said Ellie.

They all stood there frozen, they never expected a fight like this to happen, they could only hope Ellie wouldn't go too hard on Ena, and somehow injure her. That would be really bad if that actually did happen, that was what they thought as they made their way over to the indoor training grounds.

"This is a really nice training ground you have." complimented Ena.

"Yeah? It took a while for me to get everything built, plus, it's quite sturdy so magic wouldn't break it." said Ellie.

"Well then, let's get started." said Ena.

Ellie and Ena both warmed up and got in their stances, "Remember Ena, I basically taught you everything you know." said Ellie.

"Let's stop talking and get right into it." said Ena.

If Ena said she wasn't nervous, she was lying. The person in front of her taught Mary, who instructed her, so Ellie was the one who taught her everything technically. But she couldn't back down from such a chance, there was no telling if she was ever going to get the chance to gain this type of experience again.

Suddenly, Ellie was right above her with small streaks of lightning around her wrists, Ena immediately jumped back to avoid the punch that was coming at her face.

"I'm surprised you were able to dodge that, you must've improved by quite a lot." said Ellie.

"Tsk, I'm always improving, it might be time for me to teach you some things." replied Ena.

They both jumped back and analyzed each other trying to find any weaknesses in their stances. However, there were no weaknesses, but that didn't matter. If there were none, just make one.

They both dashed at each other, with the difference between Ena and Ellie's physical abilities, Ena was bound to be at an disadvantage. To remove that, she added a thin layer of chi over herself so she wouldn't get hurt. Ellie on the other hand wanted to see what Ena would do, especially that magic of hers, it's making her excited.

This time, it was Ena's turn to attack first. She faked a jab right, faked a punch left, faked a leg sweep, and threw a right punch at her abdomen. Ellie's mind was confused at what Ena just did, it was like a weird patter she's never seen before. Before she knew it, she felt a slight pain on her abdomen, and realized Ena got her.

"Not bad, but it's still not enough." said Ellie.

With her lightning magic, she was able to increase the speed of herself, and her attacks. Meaning her opponent would have to have a really fast reaction time to dodge it, but that was nearly impossible. However, it was possible for one person, Ena. Why? Because she had chi, with it's empowerment, all of her existing abilities are boosted.

Ellie was surprised she was able to dodge that right punch, but she didn't falter. Immediately sending a kick to Ena's stomach, she couldn't dodge it, and was hit against a wall.

"Did you think it was going to be that easy? Think again." said Ellie.

"Don't you think you're going a bit too far...?" asked Kiri.

"What do you mean? She's going to get up anyways." Ellie said, pointing over to Ena who was getting up from the ground.

"I'm fine, my back was hurt for a bit, but it's fine now." said Ena.

"Princess..." muttered Marie.

"Now then, let's keep going." said Ellie.

Ena applied chi to her feet and instantly appeared before Ellie who was surprised by the sudden burst of speed. Throwing a left punch at Ellie's side, she expected her to avoid it, but she didn't, and wasn't even there in front of her anymore.

"Eh?"

In the next moment, Ena was flipped over, and thrown onto the ground. Ellie crouched over next to Ena who was lying on the ground and tapped her forehead.

"You're still too young to try to keep up with me, but you did well. I'm not going to deny it, everyone here believes you, don't worry." said Ellie.

It was true, they saw that Ena was actually keeping up with Ellie's speed for a bit, but failed when Ellie boosted herself. It wasn't quite fair, but Ena was the one who challenged her, so there was no room for complaining.

"By the way, explain your magic to me, I'm quite interested. And, we're going to talk privately." said Ellie.

With a sigh, she got up from the ground, and followed Ellie.

'My back hurts...'
