Strategy or Strength

"We believe you now, barely anyone could keep up with Ellie." said Ivy.

Ena mentally shook her head, "Their plan starts in a day, let's start brain storming on what to do." said Ena.

The others agreed and sat on the chat that surrounded the table.

"Before that, I'd like to ask you a question, Ena." said Adonis.

"What is it?" Ena asked turning over to Adonis.

"Do you have any experience in fighting the mutants? I'm asking cause you did say you collapsed the tunnel where the mutants were all sprawled all over the ground with wounds." said Adonis.

"Yes I did, I was able to kill them all with my training, and my magic. I explained it when I talked to Ellie." said Ena as she turned over to Ellie, "Should I explain it to them?" asked Ena.

"It'd be easier for them to understand since they have no idea what really is your ability and how it's different from ours." said Ellie.

"Alright, I'm going to explain it to you guys, listen up. My magic isn't magic at all, it's a form of energy, a life form energy to be exact. I can use it internally to boost my physical abilities, stamina, and reflexes. I can also project it outside my body to cover myself in it and protect me from attacks or increase the damage of my attacks. I can also project it outside of my hands to create different shapes of the energy to attack or defend against myself." said Ena.

"What's this life form energy called?" asked Marie.

"It's called Chi, it's basically a form of Life-force which exists in everything and anything." said Ena.

"So the blade wounds..."

"And the burns on the mutant's body were done by that?"

"Exactly, would you like me to show you?" asked Ena.

"Yes please, it'd be much more easier to understand." said Edward.

"Alright."

Ena projected out a ball of chi, it floated above her hand.

"There's more to it, just watch."

Ena proceeded to cover herself in chi, create several different shapes of chi, and create chi in the form of weapons. First was a sphere, then a lightning bolt, and the last one was a blade.

They all watched in amazement as their brain was processing what they heard and saw. This couldn't be called magic at all, it wasn't even magic. Something like this was crazy, it was out of the world. With the things Chi was able to do, it could be very helpful or very dangerous, it all depended on the person who wielded it.

But seeing that it was Ena who was handling the ability, they felt like they could be reassured. However, the existence of an ability like that was abnormal, it was something that should never be shown in the outside world, otherwise grave danger would be brought to Ena.

"That's really amazing..." muttered Ivy.

Ena smiled, "I'd like to think your plant magic is far more amazing than mine." said Ena as she returned the energy back inside her.

"Now that we have a general concept of your abilities, we can discern how much forces do we need to defeat the army." said Kiri.

"Each mutant amounts to two to three members of the royal family, since there's an army, we're basically going to have to go all out." said Ellie.

"That certainly is bad, but us dukes and duchesses here are far stronger than our family members so I think we could probably take one down or even more than just one. What do you think Ena?" asked Ellie.

"Hmm, I think each of you guys amount to three to five mutants at most. I'd say I amount to three to five mutants too, but with this ability of mine. It gives me a big boost in my existing abilities.." said Ena.

"That certainly helps us by a lot, but I'm worried about our family members. As you said, one mutant amounts to three royal members, how are we able to defeat them with our disadvantages?" asked Kiri.

"It's fine, strength isn't everything, there is also strategy. We don't need to train the royal members or anything like that, we don't even have enough time to do that. So instead, let's create a strategy where the royal members would be working together to take down the mutants. Intellect will often be superior to strength, if the intellect is used correctly." said Ivy.

"It's as Ivy said, I can probably come up with something since I've seen how the mutants work. Their halos gives them information through brain waves which allows them to understand certain things like a human. However, if you destroy the halos, they'll become mindless monsters who'll follow their instincts." said Ena.

"Exactly, let's not forget Ena has faced off almost a dozen mutants, and came out unscathed. With her here, she'll lead us to victory." said Ellie.

"Aren't you putting too much pressure on me?" asked Ena.

"Hmm? I'm just speaking the truth, you can lead us to victory, right?" asked Ellie.

"If I'm going to be honest, I'm actually not sure at all." said Ena.

That caught everyone's attention, why was she not sure?

"We have to take it in account that my brother is controlling them, he might've taught them things we might not know. But in the end, it all depends on us. In the end, it's a battle between strategy, and strength." said Ena.

"I see..." muttered Kiri.

Although the mutant's strength was abnormal, that didn't mean they couldn't be defeated even if their forces were weaker. All they needed was a plan, a really good one at that.

Thankfully they have one of the three smartest people of the royal family, Ena, Ivy, and Ellie. Even if Ena was eight year old, she could rival them in intellect, no one dared to argue with that after seeing what Ena has done. With that said, the other members were quite reassured everything would be fine, however, Ena was not fine.

"Princess, would you mind explaining everything to me?"

"Eh?"

Ena looked up to see Marie who was towering over her with a dark aura.

"Um- I-"

"No excuses. I'm going to borrow Ena for a bit, I'll return her when we're done." said Marie as she carried Ena.

"Hey- Wait! I'm still a princess! I still have my dignity and pride! Put me down!"
