Copied this review from the unedited version HxH: Researcher as my review is still the same. The edited former chapters are worth it as they make reading the chapters more fluid. The best HunterXHunter fan fiction I have read so far. The positive points that make it my best read so far: - A properly characterised main character whose desires/habits/character are his drive and make him thus an active protagonist - An intelligent main character whose end goal is knowledge and most favourite behaviour is research. This is a fresh breath to me as 99% of main character novels out there are (exaggeratedly termed) strength seeking fighting psycho maniacs who behave asstrength is the goal and solution to everything and all negative happenings to them is explained by being too weak. Also a plus is that despite that there is still enough action/fighting/danger that it still remains entertaining instead of boring. - I like that the intelligence of the main character is shown majorly through is actions, thinking and past job. This is great to me as there are so many novels out there where the author just literally says the mc is intelligent and then proceed to make the mc behave stupidly so that some plot event can happen that normally would not, if the mc were to behave intelligent as said - I like that his family is the special/abnormal Zoldyck family and MC is fitting there like a duck in water - I like his well thought out Nen abilities. I also like that you get a feeling that the MC earned/worked for those abilities and he did not get them for no reason out of nowhere(for example like those system novels where mc just gets free lottery cheat things/abilities for no reason other than the author saying that is the setting of the story). - i like the fact that this fan fiction is really only about HunterXHunter and playing out within the Hunter X Hunter world/abilities/rules. I hate those fan fiction novels where the MC is for example in HunterXHunter using abilities from different manga/anime like Naruto, One Piece etc. it always gives me a feeling of shallow/cheap copy pasting wish fulfillment rather than a proper

I didn't realize that this was a rewrite? Anyway~ Just like I said before. The constant 1st POV is a little, for lack of better word, "dead" if used to much. I suggest trying 3rd POV and showing the POV's of other characters if possible too.

The World Building is Fantastic The Character is Selfish, Ruthless and Smart so just how I like it but a bit shaky at times. The Nen System interpretation is fantastic and the ability has been realised extremely well. Some characters like Silva who are extremely cold and calculating, speaking so openly and casually breaks immersion. The writing quality according to me is not upto par in several junctures and defeats the purpose of a rewrite so I hope you go back, edit out all the grammatical errors and typos and polish out the writing by eliminating the casual speech patterns and other inadequacies which the original characters did not have. Otherwise fantastic writing I would throw money at if I was not poor.

Hi, I will try to write an objective review, not like crazy fan madly praising author or hateful troll. This novel starts out great with amazing concept and smart MC and it stay that way for around 100 chapters but in the later half of the novel author change his wiritng style completely. Everything become too wordy and unnecessarily complicated. Even the most basic action from MC which should take one sentence will take entire chapter to explain. Author will start with the scenic view, the philosophy behind his action, how it'll affect everything else, why other think about that action, random trivia etc... I tried to skim but onces entires chapters started revolving around a single thought or action of MC, I had to drop it. Its impossible to find the real cannon sentences among the sea of fillers.

Awesome novel with an MC intelligent, cunning and powerful. We have great fights and the author really well explored the world of HxH.

iits such a great fanfic................in fact the best fanfic of all time in the webnovel..........the only downside is the lack of chapter cause i want a lot of chapters.....just hope the author to stay healthy so he can keep a good work in this novel

I really like this fanfic, especially when the MC don't fall in love or not a simp, and just chases Immortality. I also really like his personality, I don't know if I'm weird for liking his personality.

Perfect ending to the series and everything was amazing, although I will miss this I will come back to reread it more! Hope you make more of these fan-fictions and maybe you're own novel for me to read!

This is everything I want from a hunter x hunter fanfiction. Masterfully done mate. I admire how you have written this in such a way that the power-progressing is interesting.

first of all the story is very interesting like mysteries of hxh. I even think the author of this ff is the real author togashi 😅😅. His theory about nen or dark continent are really fascinating, also the other things like pariston hill his attitude even isn't show completely in anime, author speculated that in this story. The only downside are misspelled words, and unnecessary information in the story are really too much to me, I even skip some of that. Those things become useless some readers already knows that. I've also felled annoyed because author showing it redundantly that's information, it's understandable showing it first time for the readers. He even forgot the most important details because he focused to much unnecessary details maybe author want higher counting words. It's really a nice story if the author minimized that kind of thing. Hope you improve the next novel you creating. 🙂🙂

An excellent hunter x hunter fanfiction. The hatsu are incredibly well done too. So many authors just take it as if just any conditions will suffice when creating a hatsu and that they can abuse loopholes. To me, nen doesn't work like that, so well done.
