Vicky's Reality

Vicky sat quietly in the van, Ryan was watching her. He noticed the change in her eyes.

Vicky couldn't stop reminiscing how her father acted after she shot William. He acted like she was a monster. His first thought was to comfort Luna. Vicky wondered why Luna was so special to him.

She remembered how he did not even talk to her, just a glance, and he got into the SUV.

"You okay?" Ryan asked. The other mercenaries were talking, but Vicky couldn't hear anything, except for Ryan's question.

"Did I make a mistake?" Vicky asked. The rest of the mercenaries quieted down.

"No! You did the right thing. You kept your promise to her. You rescued your dad," Ryan replied.

"But he didn't even look at my face. He didn't say anything to me. He just comforted Luna," Vicky said.

"I thought this wasn't your first time," Ryan said.
