Raina Corps created a video game that players can immerse themselves into. For most it is just a normal game, but for Vicky, it turned into a nightmare. Her brother was murdered because of the game and now she seeks to avenge him.

For Vicky, vengeance took an unexpected turn when it led to a whole lot of new events. She found another survivor, someone she thought she lost. Eventually, avenging her brother, she faces betrayal, and finds the dark past of her parent’s murder.

Vicky finds herself in the center of something she never thought she would. She learns more about her mother’s secrets, and her work with the company that built the VR technology.

Vicky's Reality

"Looks like you haven't levelled up enough," Josie said, looking at Vicky. Vicky looked around, and everyone began moving normally.

The smoke was reducing. Vicky saw the team struggling to fight. Sarah was caught up with Erika, and three other players. Connor and the captain were surrounded by Daxton, and five more players. Miles, Kane and Colton were back to back. Luthor, Harper and Ryan were struggling to hold the players back too.

While Vicky was looking around, Josie held Vicky from behind, and out her sword on Vicky's neck.

"You've lost. You were always bound to," Josie said, she then continued, "Drop the sword!"

"Let my friends go first. Maybe then I'll consider surrendering to you," Vicky said. She felt the cold of Josie's blade touch her neck.

"Vicky!" Connor said, looking at Vicky. Vicky watched as a blade plunged through Connor. He fell on the ground.
