Vicky's Reality

"Why are you giving me this?" Connor asked. He then noticed the scratches on Vicky's hands.

"You should have it. You gave it to mum, and you love her a lot, so, take it," Vicky said. She was still holding the chain out to Connor.

"No! You should keep it. I've already got something that mum gave me," Connor said, showing his daughter his wedding ring. Vicky smiled.

"I haven't heard you call mum, 'mum' in a while," Vicky said. She looked at Connor with a few tears in her eyes.

"Come here," Connor said, stretching his hands to hug her. Vicky hugged Connor back, and felt him kiss the top of her head.

"Dad!" Vicky said, while hugging him.

"Don't ever leave, okay. I can't even imagine my life without you," Vicky said. She pulled back from his hug, and looked at him.

"You listen to what I say," Connor said. Vicky nodded.

"Okay, Promise me you won't leave," Vicky said.
