Chapter 322 - The Quest (Part 2)

The beast stopped, and turned to her. He looked at her face, and blew out a cold, blue breeze from his nose.

"I am not just a program, Icicle!" Kari replied. He blocked the way forward, and stared at Vicky. "You are lonely too. Just like me, aren't you?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Vicky replied. She looked to her right, and saw an ice door appear.

"Walk through there. We'll see if what you say is true. Remember, not everything is as it seems," Kari said, opening the door.

Vicky looked at Kari. She nodded, and walked past the door without hesitating.

The door shut behind Vicky. Vicky looked around the room. The room was empty, besides the lights floating in the air.

Vicky sighed, and put her hands on her hip. She reached for her backpack, and realized it was gone. She checked again, but her backpack was gone.

"How did I not feel the weight difference?" Vicky asked. She sighed, and walked further into the large room.
