(The opening shows Kamina walking in front of the camera with a red curtain behind her)

Kamina: Hello everybody, what do you get when you mix with geeks and singing, well you're about to see (walks behind the curtain)

(The curtain shows the school)

(The school has a flag which has a symbol of a bunch of people holding hands on top of the school)

(Will drives to the school in a flying car)

(Inside the school is shown cheerleaders in the gym)

(Football players outside with Coach Beiste)

(The glee members in the choir room watching Will talking)

(The glee members getting slushied by Football players)

(Coach Beiste is talking to Will)

(Sue is yelling at the cheerleaders with a megaphone)

(Quinn is crying as she looks at herself in the mirror)

(Lauren is walking with Kamina)

(Joe is playing a guitar)

(Brad is playing a piano)

(Vocal adrenaline is shown with Jessie and Shelby)

(The Warblers dancing)

(The promises are dancing with signs of atoms)

(The Sacred Silvertones is dancing and looking crazy)

(The opening ends with the glee members singing don't stop believin' on the stage in the gym)

(The episode opens with Mercedes walking onto stage)

Mercedes (thought): I always knew that I was a big star that was meant to be on stage, and I will get to prove it, I get a chance to show my talent and star in sectionals. The question remains what song will win me that victory

(The screen switches to Kurt in the gym)

Kamina: May I ask, why are you here alone?

Kurt: Kamina, I didn't think anybody was following me.

Kamina: Kurt, May I ask why you aren't competing for the star role in sectionals?

Kurt: May I ask why are you? Is this because you are competing against Rachel or because you were forced to?

Kamina: Don't put this on me, but you are right, they said I was one of the top voices, but that doesn't matter, you have a great voice and a wonderful attitude to go with it. I have heard you practice. I know you want to prove it.

Kurt: I'm not good enough.

Kamina: So, you are going to give up, sing

Kurt: Now

Kamina: Did I stutter

Kurt: There's nobody here

Kamina: Since when did that stop us? (smirks)

Kurt: It didn't

Kamina: Then, Kurt Hummel will you sing with me

Kurt:Yes

Kamina (Sang): You know that we have been friends for a while, so why won't you be honest with me

Kurt (sang): There's nothing to say

Kamina (Sang): Now, you and I know that is not true

Kurt (sang): I don't deserve that spotlight

Kamina (sang): Is that what your heart tells you

Kurt (sang): My heart tells me to walk away

Kamina (Sang): Don't turn away from me

Kurt (Sang): I can't bring the talent to you

Kamina (Sang): My opinion doesn't matter, it's yours that is true

Kurt (sang): I don't deserve the spotlight

Kamina (sang): Don't turn away from me

Kurt (sang): You know that my voice can't reach

Kamina (sang): You know that isn't true

Kurt (sang): It isn't worth it

Kamina (sang): Don't turn away from me

Kurt (sang): This isn't my call

Kamina (Sang): You know it is

Kurt (sang): I'm sorry, but I don't deserve the spotlight

(The song stops)

Kurt: I can't Kamina, I just don't have the high voice, you have the strong voice Mercedes or the broadway voice that Rachel has

Kamina: Maybe I could help you, because I know you have the voice

(Mercedes knocks on the wall)

(Kamina and Kurt look at Mercedes)

Mercedes: Am I interrupting something?

Kurt: Nope

Kamina: Nope, nothing, how may we help you Mercedes?

Mercedes: I know we are competitors, but I need your advice

Kamina: Me? Why, you're you

Mercedes: But, you are show stopper and I need a perfect song

Kamina: Very true, so you I suggest a song that is already out there (gives a paper to Mercedes) it's not apart of my line up, but you perfect for you

Mercedes: You are an angel, and I wish good luck

Kamina: And I wish the same for you.

(The screen switches to Rachel on the stage)

Rachel: Alright, Rachel Berry this is your chance to be seen as the true star in sectionals

Justice: Do you always talk to yourself?

Rachel: It's kind of a thing of mine to calm me down.

Justice: So, I guess that means you already have an idea for your song

Rachel: Of course, it's in my portfolio

Justice: Impressive

Rachel: So, what do I owe this visit?

Justice: I was wondering why would you tell Kamina to compete, you know she doesn't care about this

Rachel: She is my longest competitor and in order for me to perform brilliantly I need to have somebody like her.

Justice: So, you want her to compete you because you can't let go of the past

Rachel: Yes

Justice: Well, then I can't want to see your performance, oh and the glee club is going to be practicing in dance club, be there you are not an expectation

Rachel: Of course

(The screen switches to the music room)

Will: Today, we are going to see people performing for a spot to wow the audience in sectionals

Kathy: And after all that we will whip you all in shape and make you into dancers that will make the audience not think twice about us

Kamina: I like that attitude, Kathy

Kathy: Thank you, but first, we need to see which of you will be the starter at sectionals.

Will: So, give it up for Kamina (sits down with the students)

Kamina (walks in front of everybody): Okay, even though I was hesitant about performing, but I decided to do it for a friend, so hope you enjoy the song

(Brad starts playing the piano)

(Everybody cheer for Kamina; Kamina curtsies)

(Kamina sits down)

Will: So, who is next?

(Mercedes gets up and stands in front of everybody)

Mercedes: Before I sing, I would like to thank Kamina for the idea of this song

Kamina: You are quite welcome.

(Mercedes sang 'And I'm telling you I'm not going')

Mercedes (Smiles): I hope you like it

Kamina (mouths): I told you it was meant for you

Mercedes (mouths): Thank you

(Mercedes sits by Kamina)

(Kurt gets up and stands in front of everybody)

Kurt: At first, I didn't feel like trying, but then a friend encouraged me to do it, so here I go.

Kurt (sang): And my mind is drenched in inspiration

(His outfit turns into a colorful suit and dances)

(A calendar is flying above him)

(Rachel clears her throat)

Kamina: Sorry, let's sit down

(Kurt and Kamina sit down with each other)

Will: And here is for our last performance.

(Rachel gets up and stands in front of everybody)

Rachel: Kamina, Kurt, Mercedes, I am glad to hear all of your performances, and I respect all of you; so, I hope you will respect me, while I perform my song.

(Rachel sings 'Defying gravity')

(Everybody cheers)

Rachel (curtsies): Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Will: Now, there is a box by the door and put your vote in there; and whoever has the most votes, that person will start in sectionals.

Kathy: But, that won't be tomorrow, but until then everybody head to the auditorium so, we have more space to practice your dancing

Will: Well, you heard Kathy, everybody to the auditorium

Kathy: Mr. Shuester if I'm overstepping, just tell me I mean you are the teacher

Will: No, you are good, in fact I'm appointing you the dance teacher for glee, since you and your team have been dancers before you joined glee

Kathy: I am honored, now let's get ready to have fun.

(The screen switches to Glee club members separate from the dance club members)

Kathy: We are friends, but no we are your coaches since we are dancers and we need to whip all of you in shape.

Finn: I think I'm having second thoughts

Kamina: Stay right there, Hudson. No expectations, right Kathy?

Kathy: Of course, everybody in glee must dance and be so good that we bedazzle the audience we will see in the sectionals.

Justice: So, are all of you ready to prove to those people in sectionals, that we are a force to be reckoned with?

(Everybody cheers)

Joanne: Who are we?

Everybody: New Directions!

Joanne: Who?

Everybody: New Directions!

Joanne: That's the spirit, now let's dance

(Music in the background starts)

Kathy: Now, let's start with a simple 1.2.3. Step

(Kathy and the other dance club members does a simple tap on their feet, then twirls)

Kathy: Now, copy

(The glee members does a simple tap on their feet, then twirls too)

(The dance club members is walking backwards, takes a partner's hand, twirls that partner; flips the partner and the partner does the flip)

Kathy: Now, this one you must do slow

Miriam: First, focus on how your legs move it's kinda like a moonwalk

(Miriam shows the footwork and the glee follows her lead)

Jordyn: Next pick a partner, you can pick one of us of course

(Finn takes Rachel's hand)

(Kurt takes Kamina's hand)

Miriam: Artie, follow me

(Artie flies to Miriam)

(Tina takes Justice's hand)

(Mercedes takes Joanne's hand)

(Each of them twirls their partner)

Kathy: Remember you don't have to do the flip, that's just a flare

(Finn flips Rachel)

(Mercedes flip Joanne)

(Kurt flips Kamina)

(Each of their partner's does the split as the land on the ground)

Kathy: You guys are good, we are going to be able to nail this audience, but we still need to find our own brilliant performance which shows off what and who we are.

(Mavise twirls and does a tap dance, then takes Tina's hand)

(Tina starts tap dancing with Mavise)

(Tereza shows everybody how to shake their shoulders, while bending their knees)

Zephyr: Remember you also have to let loose

(Zephyr does a backflip)

Rachel: Okay, there is no way any of us can do that

Zephyr: That was just an example

Kamina: Try something more basic like (jumps in the air, lands on the ground, then does the splits)

(Kathy picks Kamina up and puts her down)

(Finn does a jump and lands on the ground)

Kathy: Guys, backflips just has to do with your flexibility, Artie, Mercedes, we don't have to do it because this is our group

Donnie: Wait, better idea we do the backflips, and they do the simple steps and we overlap with the advance skills we can teach them

Kathy: (Gasps) Donnie, you are brilliant, guys what do you think?

Rachel: So, we'll be in the background

Kathy: No,not for the singing, but you will come in second for dancing, then we combine for a few minutes

Kamina: But, obviously it depends on the songs we will sing to determine how our dancing will go

Rachel: It is a song that I have known for a long time

Kamina: Oh, then I know just the dance for that

Kathy: Then, we can practice that first, then we advance slowly

Artie: You don't have to stop being risky because of me

Mercedes: Or me

Kathy: Don't worry we will play with you two strengths I promise

Kamina: We all do.

(The screen shows Puck and Quinn seeing The glee club members dancing together)

Puck: So, this is where he was

Quinn: Why would he not tell me?

Puck: Seems he doesn't want anybody to know.

(Mike also saw with Santana and Brittainy)

(Sue is watching also)

Sue: This might come in my favor (walks away)

(The screen shows Quinn looking mad)

(The screen switches to Kamina and Mercedes on stage)

Kamina: So, you want to do a duet?

Mercedes: You do realize we are competitors

Kamina: Yeah, but we don't have to worry about that until tomorrow

Mercedes: Fine

It began on a lonely Thursday evening:

I was the most unique popular singer around,

She was the most intelligent musical artist.

She ismy friend,

My intelligent friend,

My musical artist.

We used to run so well together,

Back then.

We wanted to smile together, around the world,

We wanted it all.

But one evening, one lonely evening,

We decided to smile too much.

Together we singing off key a dancer.

It was fast, so fast.

From that moment our relationship changed.

She grew so kind.

And then it happened:

She handled the singers and dancers.

Alas, singers and dancers!

My friend handled the singers and dancers.

It was caring, so caring.

The next day I thought my ears had broken,

I thought my legs had burst into flames,

(But I was actually overreacting a little.)

But still, she is in my thoughts.

I think about how it all changed that evening,

That lonely Thursday evening.

My legs... ouch!

When I think of that intelligent musical artist,

That intelligent musical artist and me.

(The song ends)

Kamina: That was lovely

Mercedes: I like singing with you too

Kamina: Yeah
