A plan, built to fail

“What now?”

It was our third day aboard the Ancient Mariner, the ship was holding strong till now and we had enough supplies to last another four days. Luckily, Brio calculated we were slightly ahead of schedule and expected us to make it to Gradingier five days in advance. That is if we managed to cross over into the uncontrolled regions.

Alph pointed on the map, “I’ve been studying the material Brio got”, he paused for a second, “I believe we have our best chance to crossover somewhere around here”, he spoke drawing an imaginary circle on the map, “Strait of Dorgana”.

“What makes you think so?”

“For one”, he began, “the water isn't deep enough for an Atlantean Warship”.

“That means pirates”, Dream pointed out.

“No”, Alph replied, “this part of the ocean has no important trade routes. So the pirates have nothing to hunt. So my guess is, the worst kind of danger we can come up against is a missile boat, which are usually not posted here, either”.
