The storm was raging outside, whoever these people were, if they had arrived a few minutes later I seriously doubted they would have had anything to find. Rain crashed against the window panes of the helicopter which cruised forward smoothly, despite the strong wind blowing in the opposite direction.
The helicopter was huge, almost twice the one we had earlier travelled in, a metallic partition separated us from the pilots. The three men sitting alongside us, were wearing black armoured suits and helmets with a glass visor which matched the night outside. None of them found it important to inform us where exactly we were being taken.
There was a jerk and the cruising speed of the machine reduced. We hovered over a point for a few seconds and then spiralled down.
There was a 'thud' as the flying machine touched down. Through the glass, I could see we had landed on some sort of helipad, right in the middle of the ocean. The hatch opened automatically.
