Lawson opened his drawer again and pulled out three documents. "Take a look at these."
Callan collected the papers from him. They were graphs of sales. She lifted her head and looked at him. She had nothing to do with the management, what was she supposed to do with it?
Lawson looked at her with a smile. He said, "You have no idea what to do with it?"
"Yes."
"All the workers are on a mission. Since you've just joined too, you'll be participating."
"What is it about?" she asked, her brow unconsciously flipping up. She was a lawyer not a business woman. How was she supposed to handle thIs?
"You are to go through the records of three years' sales and file a few defects and possible ways to boost sales."
Callan's eyes widened. It wasn't part of her job. So, how was this her business?
Nevertheless, she nodded. "Okay."
Lawson gave a nod and said, "You can leave. Get your work clothes from Lilian."
"Okay."
With that, she walked out of the room, quietly shutting the door behind her. The hallway was very quiet and only the sound of her step as she walked down the stairs could be heard. The moment she got to the lowest floor, she could hear the hushed voices of a male and a female.
She walked in the direction of the voices and came face to face with them. Lilian wasn't behind the counter anymore. Instead, a red haired young lady was standing in her place. She seemed to be cleaning the table.
Callan's gaze left her and landed on the two people standing at the edge of the counter. They were also looking at her. A blonde haired boy and a brunette haired young girl. The duo seemed to be teenagers.
She cleared her throat awkwardly and walked to the red haired behind the table. "Hello. Do you perhaps know where Lilian is?"
The red haired lifted her eyebrows and Callan suddenly felt self conscious. Why was the girl's expression so stoic? She looked like an ice queen.
At that thought, a certain person's image popped into her mind.
'Yeah,' she thought. 'Just like that guy."
The red haired seemed to be about to answer her when the door behind her opened and Lilian stepped out. When her gaze landed on Callan, her eyes brightened. "Oh. Callan, you are done?"
"Yeah."
Lilian gave an understanding nod as she dug her hand into one of the cabinets in the counter. She brought out a paper bag which she placed on the table. She said with a smile, "Your work clothes are in here."
Callan nodded as she picked up the paper bag. She looked at Lilian who wiggled her index finger towards the back door.
Lilian smacked her head and pointed towards the back door. "The change room is in there."
"Thanks."
Callan walked to the door and turned the knob. She walked in and shut the door behind her. Her steps were slow as she made her way towards the inner room. Just like the entire building, even the changing room was sparkling clean and neat. She placed the paper bag on the table and dug her hand into the bag.
She pulled out a white pin tuck shirt and was shocked. Even the working attire was so unique. She also seemed to remember that the others were also putting it on earlier. She put in the shirt and tucked the pins before pulling out a black skirt which had a drawstring waistline.
She wore the skirt and tucked the shirt in. From tge corner of her eyes, there seemed to be a black colored something sticking out of the paper bag. She pulled it out and was immediately awed by the visor cap. It was black in color and brought out a uniqueness to the attire. She put on the cap and walked towards the mirror.
Callan was instantly awed by her appearance. It had been so long since she looked so vibrant. Even her eyes seemed to light up more.
After admiring herself in the mirror for a few more minutes, she walked out of the room after packing up her own clothes.
