Andy : He's Trying To Cheer Up

The sound of a soft knock made Putri wake up from her slumber.

"Who is it?" said Putri quietly.

But Putri did not hear any answers to her questions. Putri pulled the blanket deeper. Her eyes still hurt and were slightly swollen. She's been crying all night, and Putri just wanted to sleep and rest at the time.

Putri did not realize that someone had opened the door to her bedroom and entered her room.

The figure pulled Putri's blanket quickly. The irritated Putri pulled back her blanket without noticing someone trying to wake her up.

Her strength was not strong enough, and this time the blanket was no longer in her grasp.

The person is now opening the curtains of Putri's bedroom window, making sunlight enter the room, and Putri can see the figure of her best friend standing right in front of her.

"Andy?!" Putri said loudly and annoyed.

Meanwhile, she covered her eyes with her hands trying to block out the dazzling sunlight.

"Do you want to be a Sleeping Beauty? Get up quickly! It's already noon, and you're still sleeping?" Andi sat on the edge of the bed and crossed his arms.

Putri looked at Andi's face in annoyed,

"Andi, please? I need rest," said Putri angrily.

"You texted me in the morning and said that if you were sick? But now, I see you're just lazing in bed, Putri!" Andi still didn't budge.

Putri glanced at the clock, which was directly behind Andi. It was already 11 p.m. then she looked back at Andi.

This time, Putri did not cover her eyes because she used to the light that entered her room.

"How come you're here?" asked Putri, who was surprised.

She looks confused because Andi was still wearing his school uniform.

"After lunch, I ask permission to go home early so that I can meet you," Andi said flatly.

Putri is still shocked by Andi's statement, "What? Permission to go home early? How can?"

"Of course, I can. I just won the competition last Monday. The teacher permitted me for one day off." Andi continued his explanation.

"You also didn't reply to my messages, didn't give news, or congratulated me on my victory." Andi looks annoyed and begins to move his body towards Putri. This time their faces were quite close.

"Sorry and congratulations on your success win the competition, Andy." Said Putri, who was uncomfortable with Andy's face too close to hers.

"Why are your eyes swollen, huh?" Asked Andy, who saw Putri's eyes.

Putri tried to cover it up by rubbing her eyes. "My eyes? Uhm.., my eyes got dust," said Putri.

"I know you're lying. So this is the reason you don't go to school? Your maid - Lastri said that you haven't come down for breakfast since this morning." Andy increasingly noticed Putri's strange movements.

"You don't still want to talk to me about the truth for what happens to you?" Andy asked with a sly smile,

"What's the matter with you? I'm okay. It's just a bit of dust, and it hurts my eyes, Andy." Putri gives reasoned strangely and made Andy laugh amused.

"Oh... come on, Putri. I know you well." Andy rose from his seat and stroked Putri's head like a cat.

"Fine, if you don't tell me. Now, you have to take a shower first. Your smell was so sour. And after that, we'll eat outside," said Andy smiling.

"No, I don't want to. Today, I just want to lay in my bed," Putri replied curtly.

Andi gently held Putri's chin, causing Putri to look up slightly when she saw Andi standing in front of her.

His sweet face made Putri fascinated for a moment.

"I have to bathe you, so you will obey me," Andy teased.

Immediately Putri hit Andi's head with the pillow she was holding.

"Iuuhh, perverted brain, get out of here," Princess screams annoyed and Andi left the room with amused laughter.

"Don't take too long a bath. I'll be waiting downstairs." And Andi also disappeared from behind the bedroom door.

Putri threw her body on the soft bed, not willing to leave her long sleep. But she managed to convince her body to wake up.

It didn't take long for Putri to spend time getting ready. Andi was waiting downstairs, talking to Lastri who was busy with her household chores.

"Ah... You're ready? I like your looks now?" Asked Andi who saw Putri fresher than before,

"You make me do this, Andy! I'm so hungry," said Putri while holding her stomach, which was ready to accommodate a lot of food.

Andi grinned widely, "Sure, you can eat anything that you want, I'll pay all."

Andy had changed clothes. Putri was sure that Andi had intended to skip school that day.

"You have changed your clothes?" Putri asked suspiciously,

"I just bought it before it arrived at your house. I stopped by the clothing store near the school," said Andi,

Putri shakes her head, seeing her friend's brave act.

Andi and Putri left, they decided to go to one of the nearest malls. Andi has prepared a list of things to do,

"Let's we eat first. After that, we can go to watch a movie." Andi said, pointing to a nearby restaurant.

"That sounds good," answered Putri briefly.

After getting a seat to enjoy their lunch, and their order has arrived. Andi is still watching Putri's face very seriously.

"Andi..? Andi..?!" Putri's slightly loud voice awakened Andi from his daydream

"What? Hah..! Sorry. What did you say?" Andi said, then he returned to focus on his food.

"Putri? Do you still don't want to talk? What's wrong with you?" Andi asked again.

This time it was Putri's turn to stare at Andi.

"What the hell! I don't know what you are talking about, Andy."Putri began to chew back her food and drink quickly.

If seeing from his friend's reaction, Andi was sure that Putri didn't want to tell him. Even though Andi already knew the truth.

Andi recalled the incident this morning. Finds out that there is a new student in her class if only his classmate didn't tell him that it was Mega if only his classmate didn't talk about what happened yesterday between Putri and Mega.

Andi will think that Putri is sick, and he can't play truant after recess.

They spend a lot of time together. Andi is happy to see Putri, who is back cheerful and excited. After spending time watching together, Andi decided to take Putri home before dinner time. But in fact, the busy roads made Andi late to take Putri before dinner time. They even took the time to walk by the side of the road, just to try some snacks.

"I'm sorry, Put. So you missed your dinner?" Andi said regretfully.

And Putri, who was standing in front of the entrance and just smiled at Andi.

"It's okay, Andy. Besides, I've already sent a message to my family, and said if I ate a lot with you all day," said Putri while looking at Andi, who was still standing in front of her.

"Good, then I'll go home. Tomorrow I'll pick you up as usual." Andi's face turned red when he said that.

"Ok, Andy. But anyway, thank you for today." Reply Putri.

Andi began to walk away from Putri, and suddenly he turned around,

"Have a good rest, Putri," Andi said very sweetly, making Putri saw it amazed and embarrassed.

Andi also passed from Putri's sight, glanced at his watch, and it was already half-past ten at night.

Putri slowly opened the door of her house. The atmosphere seemed quiet, it seemed that the whole family had fallen asleep.
