The chase

It was a cold and dark night with so much scary sounds, yongu is walking down the push path that leads to the Shirin. Yongu was the one who charmed wannune his friends son for the sake of jealousy and envy.

He has only female children and his friend Tumbu has a son, so he is trying his best to see to it that his friends son wannune should live a reckless life nothing good should come his way rather he should be the black sheep of the family.

Tumbu is ignorant of these and stay with an open mind in their friendship and yongu have taken advantage of him. For every step Tumbu take to find out what happened to his son that he have changed completely, on telling his friend yongu he always discourage him by pushing his attention to peer influence

( Yongu is at the Shirin with orakumbu the chief priest)

Orakumbu: what do you seek this time?

Yongu: my friend's son has been promoted to the senior secondary School, that is to say he will soon complete his secondary School. But I don't want that to happen

Orakumbu: what do you want me to do?

Yongu: good question, make him reject school at all costs let him go astray

Yongu removed the charm and went home, the next morning he carried out the instructions and then berried it, wannune leaving school has been his dream and he can't wait to see it happen. He goes inside the house smiling

It was close to resumption and wannune's mother is set to go the town which was kilometers away from their village and buy school materials like books, school bag, new uniforms etc, as it was a new school section he will need them.

Mrs Abagi: shidoo! Shidoo!!

Shidoo: (runs out to answer her mother's call) ma!

Mrs Abagi: am going to the town to buy school materials for you children and if your sister comes back with the firewood you go and fetch water, am leaving take care of the house

Shidoo: okay mama

In his quest to get money and travel wannune has turn into a common criminal robbing the villagers of their money and belongings, not only that he also rapes small small girls around the village. The villagers got tired of him and the elders pass an order for the youth to chase him out of the village

Mrs Abagi fainted on hearing the news about the order to chase her son far away from their village, later that day the whole family were in tears as they watch the youth of Tarka chasing wannune away Wannune from the village except Mr Tumbu who couldn't watch his only son chase out of the community and went out of reach.

Mr yongu followed the group of youths who had come to chase wannune out of the village so that he can be satisfied, after the chase he went home happily.

Wannune wondered in the bush days and nights he eventually come across a village and was happy at first he became sad when he gave a second thought because he doesn't know anyone in that village. He continues walking down the road when he saw a boy running towards him with some men chasing him from a distance, he run after the guy to an uncompleted building.

He stood and was breathing heavily counting the money he realized from wallet he stoled wannune barge up on him and he was frightened but wannune calmed him down

Wannune: no fear am a guy like you

Criminal: chai you scared me guy

Wannune: no Lele (no problem)

Criminal: this one that you are carrying big bag, where are you going to?

Wannune: am been chase out of my village and I don't have anywhere to go to, if I can get a place to stay for a while I will be happy

Criminal: what's your name?

Wannune: my name is wannune

Criminal: okay, wannune so can you do this job am doing

Wannune: of course, infact it was one of the reason I was chase away

Criminal: okay, you can call me trigger come with me

Trigger took wannune to the boss of their gang, and introduce wannune to him as his friend who wants to join the gang. Wannune is now a gangster what he wanted to be so he now said to himself it's time to take revenge to the people of Tarka who chased me away they have to pay.

(He woke up to his boss)

Wannune: boss major, well-done sir

Major: what's up with you?

Wannune: where I come from Rich people plenty for there and I know if we can make a hit there, we will have a lot of money

Major: are you sure of what you are saying

Wannune: 100 percent sure sir!!

Major: okay tell trigger and others we will be making the hit on Monday

Wannune: maximum boss( he salute and went to reach the others so as to let them know about the hit they were to take)
