Chapter 17: Call

Raghav got back on his feet. he looked at his sister and said "Don't worry about me. I am totally fine. See!" As Raghav was trying to convince his sister that he was fine he had started to jump in front of her. When did Vinnie see Raghav continuously jumping she had a worried look in her eyes and asked "Are you sure? I mean just a moment ago you were coughing out blood."

Raghav looked at his sister's worried face and said "Don't worry about that! Can you not see that I am totally fine!" When Raghav asked that question to Vinnie just sighed and said "If you say so. But shouldn't we go to the S-cops? I mean we were just attacked!" Raghav looked at Vinnie and said "Don't worry about that. We can go tomorrow and to be honest the closest station is about 10km's away."

When Vinnie heard Raghav's reply she was a bit hesitant but in the end, she agreed with Raghav and said "Fine! But if you ever behave recklessly like this again I will not forgive you! Understand?!" When Raghav saw that his sister was scolding him out of being worried, he smiled and said "I understand!"

After Vinnie heard Raghav's reply she sighed a bit and said "Let's go for now." Raghav listened to his sister and thought "Don't worry sister I will make sure to get much stronger and I promise that I will be the one protecting you. So please just give me some time more."

After some while, Raghav and Vinnie had reached their house. Raghav looked at Vinnie and said "Listen I have gotta go to the bathroom urgently. Can you please make the food?" When Vinnie heard Raghav's request she said "Yeah fine! Just go fast. I don't want you to make our shop dirty."

When Raghav heard Vinnie's retort he looked at her and said "I am not a dog! So don't worry about it." After Raghav replied to Vinnie he ran towards the toilet and had quickly closed the door and locked it. When Vinnie saw Raghav quickly going to the toilet she thought "He is still like a little kid even though he is supposed to be the elder one. But that's alright."

As Vinnie was thinking about Raghav's childish behaviour her bracelet started to vibrate. When Vinnie looked at her bracelet she saw that someone was calling her. When she checked the name of the person that was calling her, she was a bit taken aback. After she saw the name of the person calling her, she thought "Why is Tania calling me right now? That to a video call?"

After Vinnie contemplated to either pick or not. Vinnie finally picked up the call and she was able to see a hologram of Tania in front of her. When she saw Tania's hologram in front of her she asked "Why are you calling me?" When Tania heard Vinnie's question she said "You don't have to be so rude, you know."

When Vinnie heard Tania's reply she took a deep breath and said "If it's not something important then I am cutting the call."
