Head to head with Gramson

"Did you forget to talk, vampire?" The witch started taunting him again, striding back and forth. And the smug smile on her face boiled Cliff's blood.

"What's your name and do you have any plans?" Harris calmed his rage with this sentence. He was no longer angry with her, there was nothing to be angry about who would die in a few days but before that, he had to make sure that, this stupid witch did his job.

Other than her, no witch would ever agree to this suicide mission. Either the king will kill them or they will be completely banished from their community, and no intelligent creature will ever wish for this miserable fate.

"My name is Verada. Do you have any idea about 'Blood witches'? I am the daughter of the chief witch. My community is hidden from the outside world. They are living like normal human beings.

Also, we are the strongest in the whole witch community, even the stone village witch is nothing compared to us, so I decided on my own that one day I will kill that king and get all the glory back. And we will raise like before," Verada spoke with determination. Every single word came out of her heart also her eyes showed hate toward the king.

"Good confidence. But how do you do that?" Harris raised one of his eyebrows at her and tried to look at her expression, whether she was just faking all this, or she has a trump card in her hand.

"Well, I have something in my hand, but I don't know where it is," said the witch in a downward voice.

"You don't know what you mean?" Harris was now agitated at her words.

"Because the thing is hidden. The thing is a woman, everyone says she is the reincarnation of a mighty white witch. It's been 16 years since she was born.

"I heard that day she was born she was surrounded by a silvery glow, and all beings felt strange energy out of nowhere.

They thought that their soul could be purified by that energy but in no time that energy completely disappeared, even many witches were madly searched for it and it is said in the prophecy that in the seventh month of the year that woman will shine again but in a particular day and whoever receives this energy from her will be blessed with infinite power," said Verada in a scheme voice.

"And what will you do then? Will you force her to join the team, or you are thinking of making her your servant. Maybe she will give you his power voluntarily?" Harris's words are very sharp and clear. Every word of his evaluated that woman's intelligence.

"Are you an old vampire, um! So your old age must have sucked your brain. Haha!" The witch laughed out loud at her joke.

"Shut up!" Cliff furiously retorted. He had never encountered such an irritable person as her.

"Okay listen. Everyone knows white witches are pure, and their hearts hold an immense amount of power and this woman is mighty among all the white witches that have ever existed. So... o. I want her heart and if you wish your plan to succeed, then try to find her first before the other creatures lay their hand on her," Verada said then took a pause.

However, she isn't finished speaking suddenly, a log flew toward her, but she quickly dodged it, or it would have passed through her skull.

Both Harris and Verada saw a muscular man, whose face was covered in cloth, holding a big log in his hand, and threw it at them. They flipped their bodies over and dodged the attack again, and together they rushed to charge the man. Verada was chanting a spell and raising her magic stick toward the man.

Immediately, the man was blown away by the wind and hit the tree with his back. Harris ran fast with an old metal stick, and quickly shove it on his back, and Gramson was forced to sit on the ground.

Verada said angrily, "Now tell me who you are before we kill you, or maybe we show mercy."

Harris didn't say anything, but he was aware that this man was not simple, and he knew him well. The man smiled, and it reached his ears. Then the man slowly took the clothes off his face and gave them his bloody smile.

"Shit shit, Fuck! Gramson, which means Excellency is here," he said aloud with fear.

Cliff started panicking because if the king would attacks them now, there would be no way they could see the sun anymore. Then he went to the witch and gave a warning

"Hurry, get out of here quickly, or we'll be finished today," Harris said and wandered his eyes around to see His Majesty.

"What? The king is here. Let's fight with him today. I am not afraid of him." Verada showed her eagerness to fight.

"Stupid woman. Do you have a death wish? If you don't disappear from here soon you will soon die," Harris grabbed her hand and was ready to run away, but suddenly, he heard Gramson's chilling voice.

"Where are you two going?" said Gramson, and he punched hard on the ground, causing the surrounding ground to crack, and both Cliff and Verada fell to their knees.

"Let's kill him first," Verada instructed.

"No, we cannot kill him. He is an immortal just like the king, and I do not know his weakness. It is better to run away now, or the king will kill us." Harris fled the spot at lightning speed, leaving the witch.

Gramson was barely able to stand due to the metal bar, which was still on his back. But he tried to catch the witch, when Verada saw this, she turned her face and cast a nature spell on him. With that spell, some vines quickly grabbed his leg and turned him upside down on the tree.

"Goodbye vampire, soon we'll meet again, this is a gift from me to your king," she laughed madly, then sat down on her magic broom and flew away.

"Why is Majesty so late today? We'll miss our catch," Gramson groaned in pain, and tried to free himself from the vines.

The reason for his late arrival was that his eyes were busy staring at someone. No one could believe that His Majesty was following a girl like a lost puppy.
