Iris is lost

Gabriel forgot the real reason for coming here. He was letting his eyes enjoy more of this girl's childishness, her smile, her little dimples. "Ah! What a beautiful sight, it seems that all the rays of the sun are on this girl. Her bright face was taking away all the tiredness," Gabriel whispered alone, looking at Elsa's face.

Elsa and Iris were both buying some girls' stuff, and her parents were talking with their friends when suddenly Elsa heard the cry of an old man, so she turned to the voice and noticed an old man in the distance. The man was crying with his face in the middle of his palm, Elsa walked toward him as if her steps voluntarily took her there.

"Greetings! Uncle! What happened? Why are you crying?"

The man didn't raise his head at all, he just cried then after a while he said, "Nothing baby, just someone threw all my flowers on the ground and set foot on it because they asked me for money and I refused. I told them that I have no money, but they did not pay attention. My family has not eaten for the last two days. We are living in water, and now I have no choice but to die.

I can't face them anymore." The old man was sobbing between his words.

Elsa was very upset to hear this. He is going to kill himself. "No, you can't kill yourself or God will punish you," Elsa retorted.

"I am not scared of punishment, little girl, I am afraid to see the dead faces of my children," the man said and opened his pain in front of Elsa.

Elsa reached into her pocket and took out some coin which her father gave her for shopping, she put the coin next to the man and got ready to go, suddenly her eyes fell on those flowers and she felt so bad, that so many beautiful flowers were ruined. She had an urge to touch those flowers, so she knelt without thinking and put her hand on those flowers' heads. Immediately her eyes turned white before back to blue again. Even those grounded flowers beautifully came back to life.

"How is that possible?" Murmured Gabriel from afar. He was excited, his eyes were dancing in gleam, and resumed again, "How can one revive a lifeless flower? Shit! What is she hiding in herself?"

Other hand Elsa was so scared, 'she didn't understand how she had done that? She never had such power?' These frightening thoughts made her knees tremble. She grabbed the bottom of her dress and ran to her parents.

Seeing her parents still talking to her friends, she didn't want to disturb them. So, Elsa quietly pulled her mother's hand and held her tightly.

Jasmine felt that Elsa was trembling. She hastily signaled her husband to leave from here. "Robert, I think our daughter is starving, let's go eat somewhere."

Robert understood immediately. "Sorry, my daughter is hungry. She didn't eat properly in the morning," said Robert to his friends. His friends were also magistrates of villages. So it would not be right to go suddenly. Cleverly, Robert said something that no one would stop them after listening.

They quickly took Elsa to a less crowded place, and Jasmine pulled her too close to stop her from trembling. "Elsa Darling, what happened?"

"Mom, it was a while ago," Elsa's voice staggered to complete.

"What happened, Elsa?" Robert grabbed her shoulder and asked her.

"Father, I... I am bringing back some flowers that died a while back, just by touching their heads," Elsa said, forcing her words.

"What? Has anyone seen you do this?" Robert's shocked voice scare Elsa more.

"No dad, I didn't see anyone there," Elsa answered.

"Oh dear, thank God no one saw you. Stay with us, don't let go of our hand, understand," said Elsa's mother in a relieved voice.

"But Elsa, where's your friend, Iris?" Robert asked wandering his eyes around.

"Iris and I are buying something over there. I was distracted by something, so she seems to be standing there for me," Elsa answered.

"Elsa, how can you be so careless? First, you did something unnatural in broad daylight, and then you left your friend alone," Elsa's mother angry voice made Elsa upset.

"Sorry, mom," Elsa's said with her head down.

"Wait, let's go and find your friend. She's just a baby, Jasmine," said Robert to his wife. And he didn't Jasmine's tone.

Together they came to the same place where she left Iris, but Iris was no longer there. Elsa got scared and grabbed her mother.

"Don't worry, Elsa, you stay here with your mother. I'll look for her. All right, darling, " Robert kissed his daughter's head and set off in search of Iris.

"Elsa stop trembling, be brave because one day you will have to stand alone. Your father and I will not be with you all the time," whispered Jasmine.

"Mom, why are you telling me all this? Do you want me to cry? Promise me, you and the father will always be with me until I am old."

"That's what we want too, dear, if it's possible." Jasmine kissed Elsa on the head and hugged her tightly.

"We didn't tell you about the prophecy, Elsa. You are not a human child. Someone gave us your responsibility when you were born, and we have never regretted taking you. You are a special child, and no human can give birth to you. You're not a witch, you never were," Jasmine thought and smiled within.

"I remember the day when I first held you. That lady handed you over to us and said that if we take you, our life will completely change because when you come at your right age, unnatural things will happen. Your path will always be covered with blood and dead bodies, but we don't care about it, Elsa. We swear to protect you until the end of our lives," Jasmine took a big sigh over Elsa's head.

"Mom, let's find Iris together, she'll be afraid. Maybe she has gone the other side of the fair," Elsa said.
