“If that device is in that pipeline, it could be easily rigged to blow at the same time as the quake, creating an avalanche affect. It will ripple towards this mountain that will cause enough damage to bring down this mountain and its contents on the town.” Dirk said as he calculated the time and distance.


“Yes, the pipeline is a network that runs underneath the mountain, in some places it is on top in other places underneath, it can cause the water inside that mine to mix with the cave water and we will have a bigger catastrophe at hand than the smaller one we originally thought.” Mercia informed them.


“I know where that outlet is, we have no time to waste. We have to get to it in time.” Mercia warned as the group started to jog down the path. The vehicles were parked a distance away. 


They couldn’t think of the time, or the imminent disaster. What was important was to get it done. They had to save the town. They had to be in time.
