Chapter 28

I slowly opened my eyes and the light didn't hurt. Once they were fully opened I looked and saw Gloria sitting next to me, then I saw the nighty I was wearing.

'Oh, no I don't wear nighties, nope.' I thought. 'I feel naked.'

"Uh, who changed me?" My cheeks heated at the thought of Raphael doing it.

"Oh, me and Lucy did." Gloria said looking at the nighty.

"Ah." Was all I said. "Well, okay then. Could you help me stand up?"

Gloria looked at me nervously, "Don't you think that you should have some food first, and rest?"

"I've had plenty of rest, I would like to get up." I thought I might've come across as rude so I added please.

Gloria sighed, "Okay." She stood and took the IV line in my arm out and quickly placed a cotton ball and tape over it. Then she mind linked Lucy to come in.

The doors opened and a chipper blonde girl came in, she looked around my age. "Hi, you're finally awake! How are you feeling?"

"Fine. Thank you." I said, a confused look on my face. I had never even met this girl and she was being really friendly.

"We're gonna help her to stand." Gloria said, to which Lucy mind linked her, -Shouldn't she rest first?-

-Yes but she wants to stand.- I rolled my eyes internally, what's so hard about standing?!

I soon found out. My legs felt like jelly, and they wouldn't listen to me. Gloria and Lucy were much stronger than they looked, which made me think what's with the two Lycan nurses? And where was I? How long had I been out?

They held me up and helped me to a couch and I slumped down on it.

"Well, that was exhausting." I said laughingly, while taking deep breaths. I was winded. And sore.

Neither of them replied.

As I was catching my breath I noticed a pile of bags on the couch, bags filled with my stuff. I had to think for a second. Now either my parents let Raph take my stuff out of my room, or he broke in to my house and "stole" my stuff. The second one was more likely. Oh boy, the thought of dealing with it gave me a headache, so I pushed it away.

I turned and looked at the two women, "Sit." I said gesturing to the other couch opposite me. They sat.

"So how old are you?" I asked.

"One hundred and seventy-two." Gloria said smiling. I widened my eyes and tilted my head slightly and laughed nervously.

"Well." I cleared my throat, "You certainly don't look it." I said laughing nervously again. And she didn't. Her black hair was styled into a braid like mine, which I then realized had been taken out. She had olive skin with hazel eyes and was tall and thin.

"Neither does your mate." Lucy said.

Coming back to the present, I swallowed, "Raphael's one hundred an-"

"Nope, two hundred and something, I can't remember." I stared at her than let out a weird squeaky breath.

"Anyway." I continued, my voice slightly squeaky, "Lucy, how old are you." I said with a strained smile.

"I just turned twenty last week." She said with a proud smile. Well, she did look twenty, or slightly older. Her blonde hair was put in a bun, with strands hanging down strategically. She had a fair complexion with dark blue eyes, and was tall and thin like Gloria. Whereas I was short and definitely not thin.

"Hmm, I will be twenty in one month, October eighteenth." I said smiling back. Lucy nodded.

After I said that, silence followed.

"Where am I?" I asked, trying to sound humorous.

"What do you me-" Lucy started but was cut off by Gloria, "Raphael didn't tell you?"

I shook my head, "No."

"Hmm, then I'm not sure we're allowed to tell you." She said.

I looked at her my lips twisted in slight annoyance.

"Am I in Prince George?"

Gloria looked at me with an unsure expression on her face, "Yes." She said hesitantly.

I let out a deep breath. He took me away from home. My family probably thought I had been kidnapped. Had they called the police? How long had I been out? I asked myself again.

"How long was I out?" I asked sharply. My feelings bubbling to the surface.

"We've only been caring for you for three, no today's the fourth day." 'Four days?' It had felt like a week. "What's the date?"

"September seventh." Gloria answered.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I had met Raph on the second, I had been out for five days! My parents must think I'm dead.

"Okay, help me walk to the bathroom please? I want to change." They both stood up an helped me to the bathroom, of course Raph had one in his room. As I walked I wondered where the other two men who had been here were.

They sat me down on a small bench in the huge bathroom.

"I believe some of your clothes are in the couch, I'll grab them." Gloria said, I nodded, looking at his huge tub, then at his huge walk-in shower. I grabbed a Kleenex and wiped my nose, the blood seemed to have stopped.

She came back and had my backpack in her hands, "There's more, but I thought these ones looked more comfortable." And they did.

He had packed a random assortment of my clothes, the blue shirt I'd been wearing when I'd met him, my bathing suit, some socks and my bras, all of them. I blushed thinking of the fact that Raph had seen my bras. I continued looking, there was my favourite jacket, my sneakers and flip-flops, some underwear and sweatpants.

I pulled the sweatpants out and my Batman shirt. I told Gloria and Lucy they could leave, I was perfectly capable of dressing myself. It was easy getting my bra and shirt on. I like my Batman shirt because it hugged my curves tightly without being too tight, it also showed my protruding belly but whatever, I couldn't get rid of that.

As I was putting on my bra I noticed how hairy my pits were getting, 'I'll need to get a razor' I thought 'And deodorant.'

I put my underwear on and slid my pants on, my legs and other areas were also hairy, 'Definitely need a razor and shaving cream.' I thought.

I stood up carefully and was able to stand, I took tentative steps toward the vanity. I looked in the mirror, 'Eh, I wasn't too bad.' I thought. My hair was greasy and in knots, my skin was in good condition although it did appear as though I'd lost some weight. My lips were chapped and my nose had blood stains on it, I quickly rinsed those off.

I walked towards the door, 'Time to get to work.'
