Chapter 29

I started by telling Lucy and Gloria that I needed some toiletries. I wrote them a list, and they soon left. I then turned in the room thinking of what to do next. I decided to see if Raph had packed my phone. I found it in the front pocket of my backpack. But it was dead.

I spent the next couple minutes trying to find a charger. After I'd found that and made sure that my phone was charging, I then began to unpack. I was confused, I wanted to be angry at Raph but it was difficult. I had told him that I hadn't wanted to come to Prince George with him, and yet here I was. There was no going back now. I will need to figure out a way to fix things with my family, and my job. Oh, I'll miss Paul and Anna. And their house, I like their house, I wondered how big Raph's was. By the size of his room, it was probably very big. I'll check that out later.

I found a closet next to the bathroom that was half empty I started opening drawers and put my shoes away like the other ones were and I opened Raph's drawers. Everything smelled like him, his minty scent was everywhere especially in the closet where all his clothes were. I was feeling a little tired so I sat down and started folding my clothes and putting them in empty drawers.

Once I was done with that I stood up slowly and then walked out of the closet. I was returning to the bags on the couch when I heard a knock. I sensed two channels on the other side. 'More Lycans.' I thought.

I looked myself over and decided I was decent. "Come in."

Two young men came in, they looked familiar, yes. I had seen them in my weird dream. I guess the "she" had been me.

The two of them stood there silent, with their hands behind their backs.

"Hello." I said, amused at what they were doing.

"Hello." The blonde one answered. He had dark green eyes and was the shorter of the two. They both had tanned skin and similar facial features.

I looked at the other one, he had gold eyes, like Raph, and dark black hair that had been gelled back, he looked like a greaser. I laughed in my head. They both looked strong and handsome, but they still couldn't hold a candle to Raphael.

I cleared my throat, "So, who are you two?" I asked with a smile.

"I'm Mark." The blonde one said.

"And I'm N-"

"He's Nathan." Mark interrupted. I laughed at the face Nathan made at being interrupted.

"I take it your brothers?"

"Yes, how'd you know?" Nathan asked. His eyes curious. I got the feeling he was the younger one.

"By what he just did, it wasn't that hard to tell, I've got three siblings. Anyway, how old are you." I asked with my hands in my hips.

"I'm twenty-two and he's twenty-one." Mark said. Nathan had opened his mouth to speak but had again been cut off by his brother. I laughed again.

"Well that's fun, I'm going to be twenty in a month. Oh, and my name's Brooke by the way." I said with a smile.

"Nice to meet you Brooke." Nathan said while Mark just nodded with a smile.

"I'm gonna finish unpacking these bags then could you show me around the house maybe, please."

"Sure we'd love to." Nathan said. Then I caught their mind link.

-Remember he said not to show her the attic.- Mark said.

-Yep.- he replied.

I narrowed my eyes for a second, then remembered that they didn't know I could hear them. So I returned to smiling.

"We are the first door to your right." Mark said then turned to leave.

"Okay, thanks." I said as Nathan waved and shut the door.

I went to take a look at my phone, and sat down. Standing up for that long was tiring.

My phone read that it was nine in the morning and the seventh of September. I sighed, then turned on some music, I did almost everything to music; cooking, baking, gardening, cleaning, including unpacking.

I chose to listen to Twenty-One Pilots, my favourite band in the world.

I started singing along and mouthing the words to the rap. I began to empty the rest of the bags. He had packed a bunch of books and more shoes and clothes. He must've raided my entire dresser. I laughed picturing Raph going through my drawers, then blushed.

I found a nearly empty shelf and a bookshelf and put my books there. I went back to the closet and put the shoes and clothes away. Then put on my favourite grey jacket and left the room. After I had taken one last sip of water.

I knocked on the boy's door and could sense them in there, Nathan opened the door.

"Alright, mademoiselle we will show you the house." He announced in a bad French accent. I giggled.

"Well, zis iz our room, as you can plainly see, across ze hall iz yet anozer room, zis one for ze two ladies you met earlier." He continued in his French accent the entire tour. I laughed whenever he messed up or forgot that he was speaking in a French accent.

Once the tour was completed I turned to him and said, "Merci, c'est très sympa." I didn't know a lot of French but I knew a few phrases.

"What?" Nathan asked bewildered.

I burst out laughing, "I just said 'thank you, it's very nice.' In French."

"Oh." He said scratching his head with a sheepish look on his face, "I only recognized 'merci'."

"Well that's good." I said patting him on the shoulder with a kind smile. I didn't want him to be embarrassed.
