Chapter 105: Till Death do us Part 2

Raphael looked down at her, her warm brown eyes looking up at him.

"May I have the rings." The minister asked.

Thomas stepped forward and handed the ring to Raph, who then announced, "I give you this ring as a symbol of our love. Let it be a reminder that I am always by your side and that I will always be faithful to you."

He took her warm hand and slid the thin gold band on her finger, a smile on his face that he felt would never fade.

The pastor nodded to Judith and she stepped forward with the ring.

Brooke took it and looked up at him, her face so serene and affectionate he thought he would choke.

"Raph, I give you this ring to wear as a symbol of my enduring love, my eternal faith, and my undying devotion. It is an outward reminder of our inner unity." She took his hand in hers and slid the ring on.

Then she looked up at him with the happiest smile he'd ever seen, he chuckled softly and felt another tear slip down, she reached up and wiped it away.

"And with these words, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Without hesitation Raphael moved forward, as did she, and their lips met in a brief embrace to symbolize their now eternal matrimony.

They separated and stood facing the crowd who were all standing and clapping, some with tears in their eyes, some with laughter and smiles.

He squeezed Brooke's hand and she looked up at him and giggled. Then they both made their way down the aisle and out of the church.

After photos and successfully making it to 'The Twisted Cork', where the reception was being held, the cake was served along with a lunch.

Both he and Brooke had decided that they didn't want to make a speech.

Judith hadn't had a speech but she had stood and said a few words, of how proud she was of her sister and that she wished her all the happiness in the world. And that she hoped Raphael could handle her.

Thomas gave his speech which was… special in its own way. Brooke had laughed nonstop and continued apologizing in between.

Their hands were still joined.

A few other people stood and said a few words for each of them.

Soon it came time for the first dance he stood and she stood too, still wearing her beautiful dress. It was a pure white, floor length gown with long sleeves made of lace that started from just below her shoulders so her smooth neck and collarbone were clear to see.

He swallowed, she looked too beautiful to be true.

Raph led me to the dance floor, I was a little nervous, we'd practiced but this was the first time that we were dancing in public, other than the Christmas party.

We were just going to do a simple waltz.

He grabbed my other hand and kissed my knuckles, I bit my lips and he gave me a quick kiss to separate them. I looked around bashfully, lightly bowing my head so I was looking at Raph's feet.

"Come on, love." He whispered.

My heart did a flip. I looked up and it did another. His smile was just too beautiful to be true, it distracted me from the rest of his perfect face.

I grasped his hand and moved my other hand to his neck and felt his other hand on the small of my back.

I felt so warm and happy it all felt like a dream, like I was floating on clouds. I let Raph lead me around the room moving slowly and in step with a music.

Once we finished we sat back down in our seats.

I looked up when he gave my hand a little squeeze.

"How you feeling?" He asked, I noticed that his smile hadn't wavered.

I giggled, a breathy, girly giggle, "I can't believe that this is really happening."

He let out a small laugh, "Never, in all my years did I think I could be this happy."

My eyes started to water and I brought my hand up to cover my mouth. I let out a strange sound, something between a laugh and a sob.

He stroked the back of my hand and I could see a sheen in his golden eyes.

"Me too." I eventually choked out in my mess of emotions.

He met my eyes and we kissed.

He broke the kiss, too soon I felt and then he said something about going to talk to Charm. I just nodded and watched the back of my husband walk away.

My heart swelled so much I felt as though I couldn't breathe. He was my husband.

My bridal party came over and dragged me up saying that it was time to toss the bouquet.

I picked up my beautiful bouquet made of red and white roses with some spruce bows and ribbons. I pouted, thinking of how I'd have to throw it.

I looked up and saw that all of the women, who wanted to participate, were gathered.

I turned around and realized my feet hurt, then yelled, "You guys ready?"

A loud cheer confirmed that they were, my last thoughts before tossing the flowers were, 'Hope no one loses an eye.' And then it flew.

I swerved around and saw a group of women, mostly all of Ulyssa's friends and a few of mine, I could also sense a few female Lycans in there.

I winced as I watched someone get kneed in the stomach.

"I got it! I got it!" A shrill, excited voice rang out. I looked up and saw April, one of Ulyssa's childhood friends.

"Yay!" I clapped my hands and laughed.

I suddenly felt my body spin around and I came face to face with Raph, "Having fun without me, love?"

"Yes." I said coyly. Our faces were about an inch apart.

He spun me back round and supported me with his arms wrapped around me from behind.

"So, who got it?" He asked resting his chin atop my head.

"A friend of Lys's." I said holding his arms.

The afternoon flew by with gifts, signing our actual marriage certificate, more words from family and friends and finally our send off for the night.
