'And through the pain – I wish things had changed.'

Emma and Lola walked through the garden – the place they had moved to was much more secluded than the previous areas they had lived in. This area was a fifteen-minute carriage ride into the closest town, and the town itself was also a quiet, rural town.

Emma ignored the offered hand, only turning to help Lola down the carriage – Emma ignored the other looming figure, and together they all walked through the town.

Her thoughts – that were dark, gloomy thoughts flitted through her head as she walked into the town centre where the farmer's market resided.
