Relaxation With Close Partner

The afternoon had freshly awakened the clean-blue sky and shone the dazzling light throughout Neo Tokyo city. Masafumi High School was one of the places that received the warmful afternoon light as it was crystal-clear visible from the upper until the lower parts.

At this time, all the students took their comforting lunch break as some of them filled up the entire school rooftop seats. While others who didn't get the rooftop space decided to occupy the elongated-rectangular tables and chairs inside the school cafeteria.

A white interior cafeteria that had all the seats fully taken by the starving students and the ordering parts was crowded with a line of students who were ready to choose their delicate meal in this lunchtime. Talking, chatting, and even whining sounds echoed through the whole canteen.

Although the available seats for lunchtime inside the Masafumi building were brimful, the outside was also crowded too. Wide wooden chairs with blue lines and color either bronze or white on every corner of the field, near entrance gates and the outside hall were all occupied.

Even the hallway floor of Masafumi became an available space for the students to enjoy their lunch and echoed their heated discussion with several topics. The school works, romantic or family problems, superheroes news, The Distrunian threats defeat, and Zero's sacrifices recently announced were the popular topics of discussion that occurred within the students.

Constant bickering or chatting while taking a bite of their meal from the lunch box became common for the excited students especially to release the stressful thoughts. The stress of handling either the test or just the assignment as some students opened a cheerful wide smile onto each other and let out gleeful laughter.

However, some students willingly preferred to spend lunchtime alone, away from the crowd. One of those students included Yuna Sekai who decided to lean her back on the Sakura tree across the school gate.

The school girl relaxingly straightened her smooth-skin thigh and hummed a soothing, high pitch whistle as she glared at the clear sky view above. The lunch box on her right was empty, allowing Yuna to give a complete sensation of enjoying the afternoon especially with the warm air that blew her hair in a moment.

"I have a question, why do you enjoy doing this?" A familiar stoic-male voice asked in a bitter annoyance through telepathic way, "You are only just sitting around and humming."

Yuna sheepishly giggled as she pinched her chin and declared a wandering hum on finding the right answer. Yellow eyes began to shine on both of her eyes like a lamplight that shone the entire darkness before it instantly dimmed out when she let out a sigh.

"Because it's another way of relaxing myself from the stress and pressure especially on having the…yesterday training" Yuna stated telepathically, "Yes, I learn that from fellow humans such as…of course, Hatoshi and I quite enjoy doing it."

"Maybe you should try that too, Yuzu." Yuna insisted, "It's very relieving, to be honest."

Yuzu grunted, "I did…and it didn't give any relieving effect to me."

"I guess….the thought of completing father's mission consumes you a lot." Yuna chortled.

"Whatever, you wanted to say Yuna." Yuzu replied in a disgruntled demeanor.

Afterward, the presence of Yuzu vanished as Yuna could feel a wind flying away from inside her head. It's also brought a sense of comfort for the schoolgirl by opening a gladful smirk and closing her eyes.

"Looks like the late afternoon is going to be very busy because of my internship in Heiwa and meeting with that creep….Yoshida." Yuzu commented within her mind, "But…at least I can still spend time with Hatoshi which is a good thing."

"Yes, the same guy who safely maintained this peaceful scenery and the world from being destroyed." Yuna willingly confessed through her mind as she slowly opened gladful eyes, "Without his commitment and bravery as Sparror….there is a high chance I couldn't feel or even see this anymore."

"Therefore, I am grateful to have a life partner like you, Hatoshi," Yuna added.

Then, a dreadful whimper vastly clouded Yuna's whole expression especially when she gritted her teeth in an unnerving demeanor like a person stuck inside a cold place. Unrelenting tears of despair dropped by on her skirt even though she struggled to reform a smile.

"Even though you are the same person that would soon die by my hand." Yuna uttered through her mind in hesitancy, "Because…..I..."

Yuna quickly shook her head to clear all the agonizing thoughts that could be overwhelming her mind. Moreover, the schoolgirl took a long-deep breath before she swiftly blew it away from her throat.

"Nevermind about that…." Yuna said within her mind in an unnerving tone.

The schoolgirl continued observing the clean afternoon sky as it also grasped a sereness through her mind especially with nimbly spreading out a gleeful giggle. Hence, Yuna grasped the gladful atmosphere once again after facing the sudden dreadful notion about the other perspective of seeing Hatoshi.

Luckily, Yuna was able to let those thoughts and notions buried in the very depth of her mind. With a sense of calmness taking over the central spot, the schoolgirl gently steered the happy sight onto the left.

Hatoshi with a gladful smile was caught by Yuna's, willingly broadening a cheering smirk onto him. At first, the schoolboy rubbed his back in a little bit of shame, but he swiftly regained his confidence by raising his sight onto the schoolgirl and giving a slight regretful look

"Sorry for the lateness, Yuna." Hatoshi apologized in a polite tone, "Tsuko prolonged the discussion about the upcoming sports event. He also asked me to draw all the four house logos."

"Wow, that's very great Hatoshi." Yuna gladfully praised, "Your drawing progress with Tsuko is getting better."

The schoolboy chuckled, "I guess so. Even though it's quite hectic and tiring too, to be honest."

Yuna nodded down and cheerfully giggled, "At least you enjoyed doing it since it related to your hobby."

"That's quite…true." Hatoshi said with a gladful tone, "I indeed enjoy it and of course, it's also the consequence for choosing this way."

"I agreed with that," Yuna replied.

Then, Yuna heedfully observed her close partner's face and she caught a glimpse of him slowly falling into a tired state. His body was slowly trembling and his eyes kept blinking like a person who was ready to take a nap.

Hence, the school girl tilted her head when Hatoshi rested down his body into a sitting position, leaned his back on the bulky-tree trunk. Yuna quickly let out a cheerful giggle that lured her close partner's attention, leaving a puzzling look colored on his face, and twitched one of his eyebrows.

"Eh…Hatoshi, do you want to sleep on my lap?" Yuna kindly offered, "Since your face looks tiring."

A boiling red face of sheepishness emerged within Hatoshi's face, even though he let out a calming chuckle for a second. Moreover, the schoolboy cautiously surveyed the surroundings and he saw students passing by from afar, left to right.

Hatoshi quickly let out a tiny sign of blunder winced onto his close partner who placed her hand on the lap, waiting for him to accept the warming offer. Without hesitation, Yuna extended the embarking-happy smile that made the schoolboy steer away from in a little bit of embracement especially with the steamy red face getting hotter.

"Come on don't be that, shameful, I know you wanted it." Yuna gleefully teased.

"Yeah...I did want it, but…..I think this is not the right place for doing that since…" Hatoshi didn't finish his sentence as he watched Yuna let out another alluring giggle that alleviated his steaming-red face of his.

"Don't worry, everybody in this school is already aware that we are….like a couple." Yuna reminded, "Besides, it's only sleeping on the laps."

Hatoshi sighed in acceptance, "Yeah, you're…correct Yuna and I'm..pretty sleepy since I didn't get a good sleep last night. Also, my back and my arms are kinda stiff too…hehe."

"So yeah, thanks…for the offer," Hatoshi added.

"You're welcome, Hatoshi," Yuna replied with a faithful smirk.

Therefore, Hatoshi decided to rest his worn-out head on the comfy laps of his close partner as he widely opened a warmful smile. The schoolboy straightened his laid-down body till he got a comfortable back sleeper's position.

With the solace presence of the loverly partner on her laps, Yuna willingly stroked his forehead and furrowed a gratifying look onto Hatoshi. A man that always brought peace and comfort through her mind, especially on sealing the thought of completing her mission.

While Hatoshi gently closed his eyes for regaining a full sense of undisturbed gladdening feeling within. Every stroke that the school boy's close partner blessed on his forehead, the more he expanded the glimmering-warmful smile.

"Speaking about the others, do you know where they are?" Hatoshi asked calmly, "Like Naoki, Hina, and Satoru."

"Naoki had a meeting with his basketball team." Yuna explained, "While Satoru and Hina were trying to finish their group homework."

"You mean the social studies one."

"Yes, Hatoshi."

Hatoshi sighed, "Ah I see."

"It's lucky we're already done that Yesterday night." Hatoshi added in relief, "It's quite hectic and difficult in my opinion, especially the story cases."

"No wonder it needs to be group work which is very gladful to have you as the group partner." Yuna gladfully admitted.

"Me too…hehe, especially partnering with you."

Both of them quickly spread out a gleeful, yet a little bit of embarrassing chortle throughout the scenery. It caused Yuna to steer down her stroking hand onto her close partner's cheeks, widening the cheerful grin.

As the calming conversation between the high schoolers was presuming, Yuna hummed and pinched her chin in a wandering demeanor. The schoolgirl swiftly raised her widened eyes of realization, clearing her throat for letting an important thing that enlightened through her mind.

"Anyway Hatoshi, I wanted to request something," Yuna declared in a thankful tone. "Since I heard you are going to have a meeting with other two heroes, Chemistra and Agano about discussing a.. plan."

Hatoshi slowly opened his curious eyes, "Go ahead. I would love to hear that from you."

"All I wanted to say…thank you very much for all your help on saving this peaceful world from The Distrunian clutches." Yuna happily admitted before she took a glance towards her close partner, "That includes you too, Hatoshi."

"So, please can you forward this message to me?" Yuna added.

A warm spark of appreciation embarked within Hatoshi as he gleefully chuckled and smoothly opened his eyes in happiness. Hearing the gladful words from his close partner, blessed him a soothing relief especially with Yuna's request and thankful demeanor was indirectly brought embarking praise towards his heroic alter ego.

"Sure, I will do it." Hatoshi confidently accepted the request and he was ready to satisfy his close partner's friendly request, "Hearing those words gave me relief. Hence, thank you…..Yuna."

"You're welcome…Hatoshi." Yuna replied
