Night of Further Plans

A sturdy man with a forest-green Karura mask that had yellow eyes shaped like a chicken, wearing blue tidy suits for his attire, and a neon-violet tie brighter than the night lamps on the streets, sat on the bumpy surface chair. Shiny-silver metal surface with the blue light shone on every little gaping line available, covering the whole skin of his body.

The Karura Masked man pinned his gaze at a hovering, bluish holographic photo on top of the rectangular table. The photo that became his central attention was none other than Thunder Fang gloriously howled to the crow after obtaining a sweet victory.

Then, The Karura Masked man glanced at the cylinder jar, containing a lime-green liquid floating on his right side due to the small circular surface below, spreading an anti-gravity field. He let out a chilling grunt after spending quite some time glancing at the jar, gaining a pithiness especially with his flash forward onto the imagery where Thunder Fang was kept in prison

He even shook his head and gazed down at the interior above, slowly leaning his hefty back on the soft-comfy surface located on his chair. Sky-blue wall and glimmering, neon-golden jellyfish light bulb on the middle part were the interesting things The Karura Masked man's sight caught.

"Poor…." A screeching-high pitch voice similar to a cartoon character rang through his throat momentarily before vastly shifting into a deep-stoic manly voice, "Shinjou, I never expected you to fail and be put into the prison-like this.

The Karura Masked Man sighed as he let out the high pitch voice, "What…" Then, the stoic voice entered the scene, "A shame for you my friend, but don't worry I already had a plan to rescue you and repay your debt if you succeed in your goal."

The gentle sound of the door slightly opened echoed through The Karura Masked Man's hearing, setting his eagle-eye sight onto the front. He also rubbed the metal chain especially on the door wide open and caught footsteps.

"Welcome…." High pitch voice took the momentary stage in a moment before it got replaced by the stoic voice for The Karura Masked Man greetings as he extended both of the welcoming hands towards someone who entered the room, "Back Ukitake Hazama or should I call you, Reiga or maybe another one, The Egghead."

A burly man with a clean bald haircut, head-shaped almost-like an egg, and neon-black tattoo on his cheeks approached The Karura Masked man in an excited demeanor as he let out a widespread grin. The man wore a sport-black tank top shirt with the glamouring, blazing-orange dragon logo on the middle part of his shirt.

His lower part wore short-red jogging pants with a small green snake logo on the left side and pairs of cotton white running tie-shoes. The burly man stopped his approaching steps as he already got a clear gaze on his friend who retrieved back the welcoming hand, giving a close-lipped smile towards The Karura Masked man.

"Call me Ukitake for now, Kazuto." The burly man insisted, "Since I am not in the suit mode."

"Okay…." The high pitch of Kazuto appeared shortly after, which acted as an opening for the stoic voice to fully take over the resume, "Ukitake, I understand, I understand."

Ukitake gladly chortled even though he winced after hearing the screeching voice of Kazuto at first. The burly man in excited curiosity tilted his head towards his masked friend's metal throat that freed a cheery smile.

"Speaking about your voice, why the heck you still didn't want to fix it?" Ukitake demanded, "it's very, very, very, annoying to hear it."

A glitchy, high pitch laugh from Kazuto echoed through the whole room before the stoic chuckled emerged. Ukitake could only grunt in defeated annoyance as his eyes caught a glimpse of Thunder Fang photos that lured him to move closer onto The Karura Masked man's direction.

"Why…." Kazuto's high pitch voice blurted out as an opening for the stoic tone replaced the spotlight within his voice when the continuation began, "Should I, this voice is a perfection for me and I just love talking like this way."

"Whatever you say, big boss." Ukitake replied in slight irritation, "You taste of voice is very fucking weird and I am not joking…about that."

"Anyway…I have another question." Ukitake added, "Why did you still want to help Shinjou? I didn't have any grudge against him and I thought he was a very cool guy when I met him, but he is already out of this organization."

Ukitake raised a suggesting finger, "Hence, we should not help him."

A high pitch of chuckling from Kazuto was loudly announced across the whole room like a bell due to Ukitake winced in annoyance. Furthermore, the stoic voice within The Karura Masked man entered the spot by changing the chuckle into a chortle.

Afterward, Kazuto plunged a punching knuckle directly at his throat and the ringing voice of vibrating metal echoed. Ukitake gave an utter-confusion look especially when he twitched down his left eye onto his boss' uncanny behavior.

A worried frown soon took over Ukitake's whole expression as he voluntarily lent a helping palm onto Kazuto who let out hurtful robotic coughing that was similar to a low signal radio. The Burly Man even bit his lips in shivering regrets towards his boss' current condition.

"Sorry, big boss, I didn't mean to let you punch your own throat when I asked this question." Ukitake attempted to convince Kazuto.

However, The Karura Masked man hoisted a rejecting opened palm with the coughing smoothly stopped. Ukitake slowly put down his helping hand and was trapped by uncertainty on facing this situation.

Kazuto stretched his head left to right before he exhaled the chilling air with the sound resembling a steam train. The Karura Masked man happily giggled who raised oddness within Ukitake eyebrows.

The usual tone shift voice was completely non-existent or didn't give any disappearance traces this time within Kazuto prolonging giggle. Instead, the voice was now similar to a healthy-human teenager.

"Wait, did you just change your voice by punching? Wow, wow, wow." Ukitake guessed in a wondering tone. "That is fucking odd as heck."

"Because I wanted to let out how I felt towards Shinjou, a man who had been helping me a lot." Kazuto exclaimed, "Alright, listen carefully."

At first, Kazuto let out a sigh for preparing himself on prolonging the explanation before he channeled out the glimmering thought of Shinjou. Ukitake heedfully glared and crossed his hands, witnessing his big boss give a cheering chortle.

"Shinjou is not only a man that I considered as a close friend." Kazuto confessed gladfully, "He is a man that brought me and my criminal organization on the top especially after winning the Mayujima Underground Fight Club."

Ukitake frowned his eyebrows in bitter shock as he widely opened his mesmerizing lips. The revelation of Shinjou's contribution to helping Kazuto's criminal organization went on the top remained within his mind.

"Wow, I never knew that about Shinjou," Ukitake exclaimed with an amused tone. "No wonder why you are willing to repay his debt."

Kazuto gladly chuckled, "Yes you're correct. I had been thinking how to repay his debt for a long time till I found the right opportunity now."

"Hence, I already paid a professional prison breaker to set Shinjou free." Kazuto added, "And that man is going to arrive soon enough."

"You meant that disk guy that called himself, Fatal Swindler," Ukitake asked with a little bit of a pessimistic furrow.

"Yes he is the one and he will arrive here soon enough." Kazuto happily replied as he anticipated Fatal Swindler's arrival. Especially on giving or discussing a clear breaking the prison plan for his close friend who was locked under the bars, Shinjou.

A few hours later, the dark-blue night sky of Neo Tokyo had arisen as the moonlight shone the shimmering light from above. The chilling wind flew across every sidewalk, road, building, and restaurant below.

One of the many restaurants steadily receiving the cold wind call was a Tenjuro Onikase Restaurant. A restaurant that had glittering black-ink kanji of the restaurant name being contained inside the card-shaped billboard, placed on the above-middle sides.

The restaurant itself was located near the crowded traditional markets that sold a variety of stuff. Ranging from traditional-Japanese furniture, various prosthetic parts, and raw material like food, drink, and many more other kinds that hovered above the bluish holographic table that acted as a display room for the sellers.

Meanwhile, the Tenjuro Onikase inside wasn't crowded as the outside even though it was filled with high schoolers, office workers, and even a small family gathering. The restaurant itself had holographic red lanterns hauled on above interiors, acting as both a light and decoration at the same time.

A bulky black-frame rectangular with a clean white ceramic table became the place for the food and drinks being carried on top. Each of the available tables was accompanied by four black wooden chairs that acted as a place for the customer to take seats.

As the restaurant was filled with hungry customers who wanted to have a good time for tonight's discussion about Superheroes, work or school-related, and daily life stuff. Such customers included Tabata and Misaki who took the seat close enough to the window.

They both engaged in a quite intriguing discussion with Tabata frowned in bitter disbelief. While Misaki remained blunt and stoic as she exhaled the preventing air away to gain a clear flow when the next explaining section was declared.

"Yes, when I visited Zero's secret base to obtain some material for my…the plan of cyberizing myself, I discovered something very shocking about our fight with The Distrunians," Misaki announced in a firm tone. "The active screen of his showed that The Distrunian was really out of our capability."

"Even the combined power of both Sparror and Blue Winter would be nothing against him without Zero figuring out the location." Misaki added in a frightened tone, "Because, one of The Distrunian can destroy a solar system if we didn't strike that earlier."

"What…the…hell?" Tabata flabbergasted, "Which means we….are lucky to win that battle. Even though it causes Zero to fall into a temporal comma state."

Misaki grunted, "Indeed we are very lucky. If we didn't find the hideout or use the counter machine, Earth would be doomed on that day."

Tabata furrowed his eyes and gasped a hefty breath with his hands trembling in fear as he figured out an important thing. The Officer tried to cool off his mind by taking a single sip on the warm teacup on his left before he gently placed it down on the table.

"It also means The Distrunian I fought hard alongside Sparror, Blue Winter, and Zero was still in the weakened state, right?!" Tabata guessed in a dreaded tone.

Misaki reluctantly nodded and closed her eyes in a moment that shivered Tabata's spine. Moreover, The Officer took another sip of his tea as frightening thoughts haunted his mind.

Luckily, the last tea sip washed away all dreadfulness inside Tabata's head with him willingly opening a smile when placing down the cup. A gladful smile that amused Misaki in slight shocks.

"Well..at least…we won." Tabata exclaimed, "Therefore, we shouldn't focus on that since it's already done with a satisfying result. Instead, we should think more about our future, especially as active Superheroes."

Misaki sighed, "You're correct. We are already in the winning stage and we should be gladful with it."

Then, Tabata glared an observative peek on Misaki's veins and grabbed an idea on prolonging the conversation as he frowned in surprise. The officer took another tea sip to give a warmful relief through his mind.

"Speaking about your turning yourself into a cyborg, why did you still want to do it?" Tabata asked bluntly.

"Physical and mental improvement," Misaki answered with a cold tone and an intimidating glare she directed at Tabata. "As you can see, I am able to stand up again because of the cybernetic implant on my back thanks to my father's help. An implant that not only let me walk again, it also cures that broken bone as if it never happened."

Tabata gritted his teeth in deep irritation, "So what, you are going to become a robot like Zero?"

Misaki clenched both of her determining fists as she precisely locked a convincing stare towards Tabata. A coldish stare made Tabata frown in utter disbelief and briefly grunted.

"Maybe not like Zero, but at least I could make myself into a cold machine of heroism." Misaki stated, "That's all I wanted and I didn't ask you or Sparror to follow me. It's only my way and if you disagree, I'll be fine."

"But, please do not try to stop me," Misaki warned firmly.

"I understood." Tabata replied in a reluctant tone, "I just tried to say turning yourself into a machine is not always the best way."

"For me, yes," Misaki convinced.

Tabata sighed in defeat due to Misaki's strong-will conviction left no room for a counterargument to enter. The officer freed a pondering gaze on the table as he attempted to let his mind accept the fate his friend chose on modernization.

While Misaki pondered through the windows and slowly recollected a moment when she awakened from the cylinder pot that planted the cybernetic implant on her spine. The moment after she received a neck break injury by Hollow.

The everlasting moment that Misaki would always be kept deep within her mind was related to her father's reaction. Frighten, disbelief, and dread were all mashed onto Prime Minister Kamiya's face especially after hearing his daughter say,

"It's time to accept that, Papa."

"Please, do not do it." Prime Minister Kamiya demanded, "I'm afraid you are going to lose something that is a very important thing as a human being. Your emotion Misaki."

Blinding white light flashed away from the shocking scene as Misaki gritted her teeth and slowly opened the clenching fist. Tabata with a concerned stare could only watch as his friend was also falling down in deep despair.

"You're also conflicted too, Misaki." Tabata murmured, "I can see that from your expression and demeanor. You probably think someone else that is close to you disagrees with that method right?"

Misaki steered her attention onto Tabata and gave a look of defiance, heating the anger within her gritting teeth. With The Prime Minister's Daughter scolding the officer, he quickly let out another sigh of defeat that cooled off her anger as she slowly closed her gritting teeth.

Tabata turned his attention onto the left and received a relaxing atmosphere with him opening a gladful smirk which also caught Misaki in surprise. Hence, The Prime Minister's Daughter glanced in the same direction as The Officer and she found Hatoshi without his blue blazer standing accompanied by a welcoming smile.

Hence, The Prime Minister's Daughter also gave a smile of gratitude, especially towards the school boy's welcoming presence. Seeing Hatoshi's smile and chuckling at the surroundings, lightened up the conversation party member's mood from the deep sorrow atmosphere after initiating an unfinished topic about Misaki's future project, transforming herself into a cyborg or a machine.
