Heroic Break Start

As the blue-night sky in Neo Tokyo City went darker, the visitors of the crowded market were getting fewer. Only around one person stood in each store that was available in the district.

Hence, Tenjuro Onikasi also had fewer customers in this period due to there being only four tables that were still occupied by the customer. One of the occupied tables had Hatoshi, Tabata, and Misaki who still presumed their conversation especially with the schoolboy gave a bitter-regret winced

"Sorry guys that I made the deal with my step-parents after The Distrunian threat is done, I need to take a break from the Superhero world for around two weeks," Hatoshi announced.

"Actually it's already started since yesterday and I'm glad you arranged this meeting, Misaki," Hatoshi added.

Misaki bluntly grunted, "Okay, I and Tabata could arrange that."

Then, The Prime Minister's Daughter released a gladful smile onto Hatoshi. In embracement, the schoolboy's face rapidly boiled into the red before he steered his sight away from Misaki and sheepishly chuckled.

"Regardless, you were one of the major reasons we won the battle against The Distrunian. Misaki proudly professed, "If you didn't try to assemble the heroes, we totally lost."

"Eh…I guess so." Hatoshi nervously said.

The schoolboy bowed his head in a gratified demeanor that raised a surprised frown within Misaki as her mind didn't receive this outcome. Whereas the appease Tabata took another sip of his warming tea, finishing the leftover with the loud burping voice drumming through the scene.

"Thank you very much and I am also grateful to have a chance to work together with you all," Hatoshi exclaimed.

Tabata swiftly opened an admiring smirk towards the schoolboy who was still paying respect both to him and Misaki. The Prime Minister's Daughter leisurely calmed herself from the surprising feeling as she watched Hatoshi retrieve back the bowing head, forming a welcoming grin.

"You're welcome, Hatoshi and to be honest, you deserved this two weeks break," Misaki said in a deep gleeful tone.

"Remember, you are still a teenager." Misaki advised, "Having a two-week resting time from the Superhero world can be very beneficial for your mind."

Tabata gleefully chuckled, "Indeed Hatoshi."

"Well…thanks for the suggestion everyone." Hatoshi sheepishly replied, "I am really gladful to hear and understand me."

Afterward, Hatoshi laughed sheepishly and rubbed his back head after hearing the relieving suggestion from both of his superhero comrades. Living as a superhero at this age was quite burdening, but at least he could have a chance to take a nice break time with his close partner and the stepfamily.

He even formed a cheerful smile at the conversation party that made Misaki mesmerized with it. Whereas, Tabata gave another relief sigh before locking his glare onto the young Superhero who had done an astonishing thing in the past.

"Speaking about the ongoing break, did you ever feel you wanted to change into Sparror?" Tabata asked curiously.

A brief pause swooped in with Hatoshi rubbing his chin with a wondering look on finding the correct answer. The schoolboy gazed down at the table surface to let his mind fly smoothly that was pinned by Tabata.

Misaki slightly dropped her jaw in concern due to Hatoshi still digging for the answer. Even the schoolboy let out a bemused look, coloring his whole face as he raised his sight to Tabata's direction.

"So..far..no..I guess due to its still only one day experienced that." Hatoshi exclaimed with a nervous tone, "Ever since I haven't become a Sparror, I kinda…felt some little bit of…relief."

"But there is…part of….me wanted to become Sparror too," Hatoshi added.

"Well, that means you still have a strong heroic heart or possibly protecting the world as Sparror becomes slowly your passion."

Hatoshi chortled, "Maybe….I guess. I meant whenever I summoned the suit, I actually quite enjoyed it especially when the threat ended in my own way. It felt that I achieved something..that is very important in my life."

"Creating a peaceful world, am I right Hatoshi?" Misaki bluntly guessed.

"I guess so." Hatoshi replied happily.

A reminder glare vastly colored the schoolboy's face as he remembered another important thing in this discussion. Moreover, Hatoshi quickly darted his half-remorseful sight on the firm Misaki

"By the way, you are going to be okay right when I'm not around?" Hatoshi asked in a little bit of regret.

"We would be fine." Misaki replied with a smirk, "I and Tabata would make sure anything is..under control."

"Therefore, you don't have to be overly concerned with your break time period," Misaki suggested.

At first, Tabata let out a cheery giggled on Hatoshi who slowly toned down the concerning glare. Then, The Officer tapped the schoolboy's shoulder and let out a breezy grin that encouraged his friend to raise the gladful smile.

"As I told you before, you truly deserved to have a break from the Superhero World." Tabata gratefully mentioned, "Constant fighting, saving, and protecting the peace can be an everlasting burden for your mind."

"Also, you can now enjoy more time as a normal high school teenager in this break time period." Tabata added before he giggled, "Which is less stressful, right?"

Hatoshi extended the gladful smile as he began to comfortably lean his tiring back on the wooden chair. The schoolboy switched his relaxing furrow on the outside view being presented by the window beside Tabata.

"Yes, it is less stressful." Hatoshi confessed, "Because, I spent more time with my loved one and I'm always aware that they are very worried about me whenever…I left them."

"I could relate with that." Tabata spoke in an alleviating tone, "Even though I'm very proud that I managed to regain the Onmyouji power, my wife and son were quite worried too with me."

Hatoshi chuckled, "I guess that's….the responsibility of being a Superhero Mr Tabata."

"Of course Hatoshi." Tabata replied.

Afterwards, Hatoshi slid his hand onto the pocket pants and swiftly took out the red casing phone. The schoolboy steered his sharp-eyes attention at the phone that lightened up the sky blue screen.

A surprised gaze colored Hatoshi's entire face due to the phone screen presenting the current time in a form of cotton white four digit numbers on the middle top, 20:30. The schoolboy's eyebrows kept going up as he remembered a relevant thing he needed to attend.

"Apology guys….I might need..to leave earlier." Hatoshi politely announced, "There is an important person….waiting for me."

Tabata smirked, "It's okay Hatoshi. It's a pleasure to meet you again."

The schoolboy got up from the wooden chair after he nodded, especially with his back getting a refreshment to move. Hatoshi heaved a farewell palm and freely opened a welcoming smile towards the conversation members.

"Well…goodbye and thank you everyone." Hatoshi spoke in gladful tone. "Also, my close…friend wanted to say thank you too for all your help."

"Goodbye too, kid." Tabata replied happily. "I'm really gladful to hear that."

"Thank you again for attending this meeting, Hatoshi." Misaki exclaimed with a gentle grin.

Hence, Hatsohi smoothly left the conversation group on a good note as he extended the smile of gratitude. Misaki and Tabata watched the schoolboy presence slowly leaving their calm sight.

It encouraged both Misaki and Tabata to let out a cheering giggle, especially when the schoolboy had gone outside to meet an important person in his life. The Prime Minister's Daughter shook her head as she closed her eyes in the moment that caught Tabata's interest.

"I always thought you're just a cold and stoic person." Tabata commented. "Especially you show a lot's of smile and gladness with Hatoshi."

"Yes because Hatoshi is quite different from any teenage Superhero." Misaki confessed cheerfully, "He is not whiny and a very responsible person.

Then, a sorrowful tone swooped within Misaki's voice as she prolonged her sentence, "Even though….his true motivation that I got from Zero….was quite selfish."

"In short-way, his girlfriend is more important than the whole world itself." Misaki added

At the moment Tabata was stunned with a baffling winced towards Misaki who locked a cold stare onto him. It shivered The Officer veins as he dropped his jaw in unnerving demeanor and dreaded sweats dampened his forehead.

Luckily, Tabata managed to regain his cool by letting out a sigh of relief. The Officer even formed a delightful smirk that he precisely locked onto the stern Misaki who raised a concerned look.

"As long as Hatoshi could balance the selfish motivation and his heroic action I would be fine." Tabata exclaimed, "So far, I didn't have any problem with him."

"Me too, but we still need to be cautious with him" Misaki replied in a pessimistic tone as she bit her lips, "I'm afraid that he might either have crossed the line or even become a world-conquering villain."

Tabata chuckled as he firmly released a striking counterargument, "While, I believed Hatoshi might have a harder chance to fall, but you are right. We should also guide or help him avoid that path."

Eventually, Misaki released a reluctant sigh as her mind ventured into a possibility that Hatoshi would turn into the opposite side one day due to his selfish motivation. Whereas Tabata consistently believed the young hero would not fall into the dark path.

An hour had passed, the night sky became darker as the freezing wind blew Neo Tokyo city. Some people on the sidewalk even wore a thick jacket and scarf on their neck to endure the ongoing cold air.

The freezing wind widely blew across Neo Tokyo's streets and even the vehicles that passed on the road. One of the vehicles was a pear-yellow taxi with blue neon light wrapped around the rear parts.

The taxi itself carried two high schoolers, Hatoshi and Yuna with the school blazer being removed who sat on the passenger's seat on the back. Furthermore, the schoolgirl rested her head on the close partner's chest, acting as a pillow.

While Hatoshi gently hugged his close partner's stomach and freed a gleeful smile onto her. Comforting feelings willingly of the high schoolers were embraced towards each other as Yuna hummed in a jolly tone.

"So, Hatoshi, how's the meeting with Chemistra and Agano?" Yuna murmured.

"Yeah, it's fine and I'm quite grateful that the other heroes were ready even though Sparror took his break time," Hatoshi explained,

"Speaking about Sparror, did you know why he wanted to take a break?"

At first an unnerving winced colored Hatoshi expression as he tried to dig up the correct way of answering. However, a proud smirk swiftly took the center stage on the school's boy's face and briefly chuckled, especially with him gazing his eyes at Yuna.

"Probably tried to spend time with his beloved, I guess." Hatoshi answered, "That's what…I heard from Chemistra and Agano."

Yuna widely opened astounding eyes as she commented, "I see. He truly is a nice guy and I think he deserved a good break after struggling to face The Distrunian threats that were finally defeated."

"He also the same guy who assembled the team of Superheroes like Chemistra, Zero, and Blue Winter." Hatoshi replied, "Without that team, The Distrunian might win the battle. I'm very honored with all of their effort."

"Indeed Hatoshi and don't forget about you too." Yuna reminded. "Especially with your role as an operator…helping the battle."

"Your father would be so proud to see this," Yuna added in a praising voice.

Hatoshi sheepishly giggled and he shook his head in a moment, tightening his blissful hugging arm on Yuna's stomach after hearing the sweet praise. Embarking gratification shone upon the schoolboy's within single closed lips smile as he indirectly accomplished his close partner's happiness on seeing the peacefulness through the blazing heroic identity, Sparror.
