Shinjou's Conviction

Glowing sea-blue light shone through the whole bedroom like a fresh sunrise in the morning from the neon-moon-shaped lamp on above. Inside the room, a flat surface, cotton-white bed hovered above the clean silver floor due to being uplifted by a small blue holographic wave on the middle part.

The shape of the wave was almost similar to a cylinder and it remained silent as the bed kept hovering. Furthermore, the bed itself carried a lying down Shinjou who slowly winked his eyes to wake up.

At first, blurry vision clouded his eyes that created a hazy winced within Shinjou's expression. Therefore Shinjou forcefully raised his upper body and luckily his sight became crystal clear as he could see the silver wall on above, but a hefty feeling took over his breathing.

Shinjou tightly held his rapid-beating chest and endured the sudden heftiness. The Inmates exhaled the hefty air away, reducing the sudden shock that affected his body into a cooling-off state especially with his breathing becoming light.

Hence, Shinjou gently rested the holding palm and gazed at the moon-shaped light bulb. Surprised-realization eyes were widely opened within The Inmates eyes, noticing he was inside a place belonging to someone familiar.

The Inmates sharply glared at the front door that suddenly slid-opened access to the outside. Shocks furrowed his brow as he witnessed Kazuto walk into his resting room with extending the welcoming hands.

"Hello….." Kazuto's jolly high pitched voice before deep stoic voice entered the spotlight, "Shinjou my old friend."

"Hello too, Kazuto." Shinjou uttered as he kneeled his upper body in a thankful demeanor, "And….thank you too for rescuing me."

Then, Shinjou slowly peeked at his neck part as his mind showed imagery of power-disabler collars strapped on his neck. Much to his surprise, the collar was no longer on his neck, giving him a chance to let out a relieved sigh.

"Also, removing the disabler collar too," Shinjou confessed with a thankful tone and bowed his upper body in respect.

"I'm gladful it was removed from my neck," Shinjou added excitedly.

The inmates clenched both of his fists into that omitted blitzing violet electricity from its vein temporarily. Shinjou laughed in sparking gladness, especially after his naked eyes witnessed the electric power had returned to his side.

A cheery robotic giggle was out loudly released by Kazuto as he wiped out his forehead, especially seeing his old friend returned safely. The Karura Masked Man took a step closer till he stood beside The Inmates, giving him a kindful pat on the shoulder.

"It's…." Kazuto's high pitch voice temporarily entered and the stoic voice entered for the continuation, "Good to hear that from you."

Kazuto retrieved down the patting hand and he slowly turned forward and rubbed his chin in a wandering demeanor. The Karura Masked Man glared at the above view, digging a suitable idea for Shinjou's recent appearance.

Whereas, The Inmates brooded his sight against one of the punching fists that blitzed out tiny chaining electricity. Shinjou's mind soon entered the heartwarming past memory with his loved one, Sayato, and his precious daughter, Karin.

A past memory around 3 years ago, brightly shone a gleaming yellow light for The Inmates to completely enter the scene. The memory was none other than when Shinjou, Sayato, and the short-black hair little girl, Karin, were watching a movie together within the black-bulky box-shaped TV.

They were warmly sitting on the balmy brown sofa for their seats as the movie continued to play the thrilling scene. A scene about a golden hairy man protected the girl with a pink dress in a horrified expression.

The golden man stood valiantly even though he held the bleeding chest and the golden aura surrounding him began to diminish piece by piece. An eagle glaring eyes was sharpened within the man especially when he faced an army of cloudy black swordsmen that grouped him in full circle.

Karin frowned in intrigue and enthusiasm as she watched the man bravely charge forward and gloriously howled. Her expression also caught Shinjou's attention, allowing him to willingly open a gentle smile onto his daughter.

"You're really intrigued with that scene right, Karin?" Shinjou guessed.

Karin happily nodded, "Yes Papa. Kazamura is an awesome guy because he isn't afraid of facing the scary army."

"Indeed he is an awesome guy." Shinjou replied.

Shinjou chortled in satisfaction for seeing his daughter capture the sparking excitement with her extending the amazed jaw. Afterwards, he freed a jolly smirk towards Karin who enthusiastically screamed, especially the moment she witnessed Kazamura swiftly sliced ten swordsmen into two only with his bare hand.

Then, Karin worriedly frowned and dropped a shocking jaw as she witnessed Kazamura puking out blood and the golden aura faded away faster than the blink of an eye. The golden warrior soon received a sudden piercing stab from the swordsman on the stomach.

Instead of growling in agony, Kazamura knocked away the swordsman who stabbed with a single punch after he momentarily glanced at his lovely girlfriend, opening up a thrilling smile. Karin's concerned expression was washed away by a bitter smile and cheerfully observed the golden warrior rushing forward.

While Shinjou frozenly furrowed his eyebrows after watching Kazamura remain fighting even though he saw ten wounds from the swordsman pierced through the warrior from different sides. The golden warrior took a glance one more time at his crying girlfriend who slowly opened a gladful smirk seeing her dear love heated the thrilling excitement of the fight especially with the shining smile he declared.

At last, Karin regained her keening feeling and vigorously shook her hands for seeing Kazamura launch another swiping charge. Even Shinjou succumbed to the fiery enjoyment in this movie by declaring a cheery smirk after steering his attention onto his daughter who dropped the avid jaw widely.

"Papa, how can Kazamura be like this?!" Karin asked in excitement, "He is so amazing and strong."

"I also realized that Kazamura is slowly losing his power, but he still fights them bravely," Karin added.

Shinjou chuckled in a jolly tone as he gently patted Karin's head, convincing her to give a puzzling face. He slightly glanced at Sayato who opened up a closed-lips happy smile before steering his sight onto his daughter again.

"Simple answer, he wanted to protect his girlfriend." Shinjou exclaimed, "Even losing power will become nothing when determination takes over."

Karin reluctantly nodded her head to accept her father's answer and she curiously tilted her head. Cheery giggling was declared by the little girl before she gave a bubbly smirk to Shinjou.

"Papa will you do that to me and....Mama too?" Karin asked happily.

Shinjou blissfully chortled, "Absolutely, Karin, absolutely."

A concerned eyebrow clouded Karin's furrow especially after Shinjou willingly let out that statement. It also lured Shinjou to switch his attention onto his beloved wife, biting his lips in an unnerving demeanor

"Shinjou, are you with..that?" Karin assured in a worried tone. "I meant ....sacrificing your power for the sake of our life was a very difficult choice."

"I'm…..sure I will do it." Shinjou nervously answered with sweat dropping on his forehead.

"But your power is also an important part for you too right?"

Shinjou reluctantly sighed, "It was. Now, this little…family is more important."

Karin was shockingly stunned as she dropped her jaw and extended the frowning eyebrows towards Shinjou's half confident statement. Moreover, she also saw her beloved husband drown in despair due to him continuously biting his lips even though a convincing furrow glared onto her.

Afterward, a shining yellow light shattered the entire memory with its blinding touch, bringing Shinjou back into the present time. The Inmates heedfully glared to the right side and he witnessed Kazuto hushedly standing beside him, hiding his hands inside the pocket pant's mouth.

"So….." High pitch voice of Kazuto took charge momentarily before it vastly changed into a stoic tone, "You better get some rest for the next mission briefing and I already created perfect armor to unleash your full potential."

Shinjou widely declared a surprising furrow within his sight and gazed down at both of his tightened fists. Fists that thrillingly spawned a chaining violet electricity on his wrists, formed a soothing excitement grinned

"Wow, thank you very much," Shinjou exclaimed in a thankful tone and declared another respectful bow on half of his body.

"He…" Kazuto replied with the high pitch tone shifted into a deep voice in less than a second as the continuation, "He, anyway, the detailed explanation of the armor will be given tomorrow morning and I know you will love to hear it because there is a big cost of using it."

"You…" Kazuto added and pinned his sight onto Shinjou."Will lose your power forever."

Shinjou furrowed a grimaced eye that he looked at his punching fists, ending the refreshing excitement he grasped before. Instead, a sorrowful possibility of losing his power overwhelmed his frail mind in an instance that caused him to hurtfully winch for this rough night.

Fresh-yellow morning sunlight had awakened through the whole Neo Tokyo City area. One of the houses that warmly felt the refreshing morning light was none other than Akarui Household.

Inside the Akarui's house living room, Hatoshi motionlessly stood in front of the sofa with shocked eyebrows. The schoolboy glared at today's news and presented the crimson headline below, "Thunder Fang Aka Shinjou Hibiki had escaped from Murushima Island."

Hatoshi clenched one of his fists and unnervingly bit his lips, also sharpening the jolting eyes as the news presumed. Sparror's yellow eyes began to glimmer on his face due to the thought of entering the Superhero world invading his mind.

However, Hatoshi quickly shook his head till the glimmering yellow eyes faded away like a battery-out lamp, returning his human eyes. The schoolboy sighed and released the gripping fists.

Then, all of sudden Hatoshi felt a gentle patting on the shoulder from behind that released the surprised glare. He steered his sight to the back and caught his Uncle, Sasaki who gave a welcoming smirk within his sight.

"Hatoshi, you wanted to go out and help the Superhero again right?" Sasaki cheerfully guessed.

"Eh…maybe." Hatoshi said in a reluctant tone, "Sorry for letting that thought out because I'm still in the break period."

Sasaki chuckled, "It's okay. At least you are not like your father who always prioritized work first. To the point break time or rest almost didn't even exist in his mind."

"Yeah, I…kind of agreed with that," Hatoshi spoke with a bitter voice.

"Anyway, you better pack up your things since we are going to your grandparents' house." Sasaki politely insisted, "Also you can ask Yuna again whether she wants to join or not."

Sasaki took a peek at the ongoing news on his TV that remained to discuss Thunder Fang's escape, giving him a slight cautious stare. Whereas, Hatoshi confidently nodded and swiftly formed a gladful smirk on his entire face towards his uncle.

"Sure Uncle Sasaki." Hatoshi agreed.

Hatoshi swiftly walked away from his uncle's calm sight as he was ready on finishing two activities, packing up his backpack for the holiday in his grandparent's house and asking the confirmation from his close partner on this trip. Unbeknownst to the schoolboy, Sasaki's eyes were clouded by bubbly aqua-blue eyes.

The aqua blue eyes that transformed his locking sight he targeted at Hatoshi into the Superhero identity, Sparror. Especially when his nephew took steps on the stairs, Sasaki shockingly gritted his teeth.

"Even though I lost most of my ability, luckily I still had the super sight." Sasaki exclaimed through his mind, "And I already knew you were Sparror ever since the accident happened.

Sasaki pinned down his shocking sight that quickly turned into worriedness after indirectly witnessing his nephew's Superhero identity. Hence, he closed his eyes in a disinclined demeanor for hoping nothing bad would happen to Hatoshi's life, especially as The Flaming Hero, Sparror.

"Hatoshi, I just hope you don't become like your father." Sasaki wished through his mind.
