Altering The Memory

No more trace, sign, or even a glimpse of motion was made by Thunder Fang with the yellow light illuminated within his entire body. He remained stuck in the paralyze state like a human statue as the pear-yellow light continued its bright performance.

Bothersome grunt from Chemistra robotic throat was spoiled across the arena and she declared to walk closer onto its paralyzed target. The Chemist's feet became staggering the more she spent time walking closer alongside the light within the metal suit constantly flickering.

"Slee-e-ping che-m-m-i-cal, commence!!" Chemistra growled with a sore throat.

Violet-purplish light wavered through the metal body from upside down and washed away cleanly every trace of the yellow light in an instance. The Chemist gazed at the chemical fingers that were already being consumed with the purple light, frowned in discontentment towards the result.

"I should upgrade this form again to the point I can use it like the other three." Chemistra muttered within her mind, "Such a shame."

The Chemist shook her head and closed her eyes for succumbing to her utter disappointment, especially on facing the truth of her progress. Chemistra even let out a disgruntled groan before she exhaled it away.

Regardless, Chemistra opened her locking sight and hoisted the middle needle fingers onto the motionless target. The Chemist quickly thrust back her hand to launch the fleeing needle finger like a porcupine missile especially with it's bursting movement of spreading the purplish sparkle.

"Ti-m-m-e to…..ha-a-av-e-e a…go-o-od sleep, Thunder….Fang." Chemistra murmured raspily as one of her hands held the metal chest.

The thrusting needle finger was soon morphed into a purplish object with the circular shape resembling a comet. With the fleeing still continuing smoothly, the needle finger tackled down the ground that created a dazzling bounce like slamming down the basketball and enhanced the dashing speed.

Therefore, the sparkling needle finger precisely pierced through the paralyzed Thunder Fang's stomach. A violet light that bright as a moonlight soared through The Oni Guy who howled in an unnerving pain.

The violet light glamouring presence wiped away the yellow light within Thunder Fang in an instance, freeing him from the paralyzing effect as he could take a step back. However, the new side effect occurred for The Oni Guy.

His eyes went down into a sleepy demeanor with the sockets slowly closing and his vision became glassy blurry. Every limb of Thunder Fang like legs and arms became numb that caused him to kneel.

"Robot Spider, I just hope the process it's already done." Thunder Fang muttered with a pleading tone through his mind. "So Kazuto can give his…promise.

The Oni Guy's eye sockets swiftly shut his crystal clear vision as his body fell down on the floor. The violet light blinked out and left Thunder Fang into a slumbering state especially with a snoring noise appearing in the arena.

At last, the rough and electrifying battle between the heroes of Neo Tokyo and the impervious Thunder Fang finally went to conclusion. The victor place was claimed by the dissatisfied Chemistra as she kept the disappointing frown on the defeated target.

Even though Thunder Fang was already trapped deeply within the slumbering state, Chemistra's utter disappointment still influenced her. Gazing at the staggering metal hand of her only boiled up The Chemist's despondent eyes.

The Chemist switched her attention to the sky above and she witnessed a humongous wave of blue energy swallow the whole purplish space outside. Chemistra hesitantly closed her eyes as she rested the staggering hand in order to greet the wave that vastly contained her inside its sparkling surface.

Afterward, Chemistra opened her eyes and clearly witnessed the museum interior within the enlightened sight. She let out a sigh of relief after the realization of her being transported back into the real world, invading her mind.

Furthermore, The Chemist pinned her sight onto the bluish cube beneath the metal leg and sluggishly stepped closer especially with each step taken, the feet felt numb in temporal seconds. The cube itself abruptly melted into an evaporating liquid that raised a puzzling look inside Chemistra's eyes.

"It's already melted, such a shame," Chemistra muttered.

Chemistra began to pin her eyes at front and furrowed frantic eyes as she met a bizarre discovery occurring in this scene. The golden mask that was safely contained inside the glass was completely gone, leaving a trace of bluish sparkle.

Without hesitation, Chemistra glanced a frantic look towards the unconscious Agano beside her and approached his direction with the staggering feet. The Chemist stunningly frowned upon another shocking discovery occurring at this crime scene.

A bluish screen popped out from Thunder Fang's wrist that showed the result of finished progress. Progress brightly presented the bold-white one hundred percent numbers allowed Chemistra to shiver through the course of her veins.

"I….FAILED!!!" Chemistra blurted out.

The golden mask indeed made its outshining debut on a steel-gray circular object with the reflecting-like surface omitted a neon-blue light and levitated the mask. The circular object itself shone its shimmering presence on top of the Kazuto wooden table.

The Karura Masked Man rubbed his chin with an intrigued demeanor and initiated a clutching grip on the hovering mask. Kazuto swiftly pulled off the mask before he heaved in front of his face.

"Well…" High pitched voice emerged at a moment before it was overwhelmed by the stoic voice for the continuation, "Pretty good job my old friend Shinjou and I really admire your effort for safely transferring the Garuden mask to me."

Kazuto quickly jabbed his metal throat with a single punch and created a temporal blitzing sound. Then, The Karura Masked Man gently put the Garuden mask onto his table after the quick observation was done.

"Unfortunately, this will be the last day you'll ever remember me," Kazuto exclaimed with a deep, yet mournful tone.

The Karura Masked man stood up from the comfy chair as he raised the metal hand that channeled out golden strings wrapped around his wrist. He propelled the golden strings hand for summoning a gust of energy wave.

An energy wave that morphed into a humanoid figure faster than the blink of an eye. The shape the golden wave took was none other than his old friend, Shinjou who was in the muscular Oni form.

Then, a lingering flame vines came out from Shinjou's hands and elastically reshaped into two other new people. Two close people with The Oni Guy which was Sayato, kindly holding her hand with a Karin silhouette.

Witnessing the golden wavering shape of Shinjou made Kazuto shake his metal head with bitter regrets that consumed his mind entirely. The golden hand on his wrist was darted by The Karura Mask and sorrowfully nodded.

"I always remember you as a person that helped me go on top." Kazuto happily praised, "Winning that simple fight club really boosted my business and a receiving quite huge amount of budget."

"It's indeed an exciting memory," Kazuto added with a bitter tone.

Kazuto unnervingly sighed, "Unfortunately your feelings become the main problem for keeping my partnership with you. A feeling that allows you to take a risk of losing the very power you have just because you couldn't accept her fate."

"Such an unfortunate and…wasted potential, my friend." Kazuto uttered with a deep-despairful tone, "Because without having that feeling, we can rule the business or even the world together as one. Instead, you're now indirectly becoming a threat to my existence."

"Luckily I found a nice and more kindful way to get rid of your power, possibly forever." Kazuto added reluctantly before he presumed with a firm tone, "Therefore, let the altering spell commence."

The Karura Masked Man snapped the empowerer finger that created a blazing reaction. The golden silhouette of Shinjou's family simultaneously flickered out into thick ashes, scattered on the floor.

An energy that bound with his hand vanished without leaving any traces left and caused Kazuto's hand to crumble constantly. A robotic screeching voice was announced wide spreadly as he kneeled in agony that resemble a person being showered by lava,

"This is why sometimes I hate using the memory-altering spell." Kazuto complained about an irritated tone, "It's very burdening."

"At..least, Shinjou and his family memory had already been altered," Kazuto added gladfully,

Kazuto tightly placed the pinching hand on the trembling arm as he remained enduring the melting pain on every limb of his body. A tormenting reminder for the cost of using the spell especially with The Karura Masked Man back gusting out boiling steam.

With most of the boiling steam freed from Kazuto's back, he retrieved the rubbing hand due to the trembling movement becoming slower. The Karura Masked Man slowly lifted his struggling kneecaps after the flaming torment was over.

One of The Karura Masked Man's half-shivering hands swiftly tapped on the left hearing metal head part. Hence, the blitzing phone ringtone drummed within Kazuto's sharp hearing and allowed him to let out a relieving sigh.

The ringing noise quickly blinked out as the forwarding phone sound entered Kazuto's ear. Then, a voice of Fatal Swindler coughing for the start-up of the ongoing distance call emerged.

"Let me guess." Fatal Swindler blurted out, "Thunder Fang completed his mission and I'm going to give the spider-like…antidote to his wife right, Kazuto?"

"Indeed and do it right now," Kazuto commanded firmly.

Fatal Swindler chuckled, "Sure, Grand Patron."

The long-distance call finally ended with Kazuto plunging the bold-metal fist onto the left hearing that shouted broken electrical noises. The Karura Masked Man pinned his sight down as the initiation for transferring the antidote to his old friend who would soon have his memory either being altered or erased.

Sayato and her daughter Karin were still patiently awaiting Shinjou's return as they continued sitting on the couch and darted their eyes towards Television. A blurry-screen television that played a show about a couple wearing Kimono had a heated argument towards each other.

Karin leaned her back and glared an annoyed stare towards the ongoing show especially on watching the long-black hair woman give a disgruntled look to the man. It struck down her nerves as she groaned out loudly.

"Mom, why do you love watching this kind of show?" Karin asked with an irritated tone, "It's pretty annoying."

The housewife could only give a jolly giggled and happily smiled as she continued to focus her sight on the TV show. Even though she held her pounding chest alongside gritting her teeth, Sayato remained smiling.

"That's the point of why I'm enjoying this show." Sayato exclaimed, "The annoying and nonsensical drama is just…enjoyable to watch."

"Yeah, but the cause of this stupid drama is non-sensical." Karin argued, "Like is this person know good communication."

"Even, the often argument with Dad is not annoying and unbearable compared to this," Karin added with her boiling up of the irritating face especially with her sight continued watching this Tv show.

Sayato sheepishly giggled, "Ah..Karin."

All of sudden, a metal disk with the sleeping people silhouette as the motif landed in the middle side between Sayato and Karin. A look of despair overwhelmed The housewife's face as she attempted to force her grip on the disk.

However, the disk swiftly spread the massive white energy wave on the surroundings in split seconds. Both Karin and Sayato were caught by the temporal wave with the side effect emerging in the scene.

The side effect brought by the white wave to them was their eyes were sluggishly closing with a sleepy demeanor. Hence, Karin leaned down on the balmy surface of the sofa as she was fully lured into a slumbering state especially with her eyes tightly closed.

Whereas, Sayato stretched down the upper body to lie down on the surface and unnervingly closed her eyes. The housewife was also like her daughter which was falling down into a comforting slumber.

With the house members taking their time in sudden sleep, Fatal Swindler who was still in the cloaking form darted his sight on Sayato. The Disk Man pulled out a tiny greyish-metal spider on his grip that he tossed down to the sofa beside the housewife.

Bursting yellow eyes glimmered within the tiny spider eyes as it glanced at the desirable target on the right side who was none other than Sayato. The spider leaped off and smoothly landed on the housewife's neck.

Glittering green liquid embarked through the glassy surface of the needle-shaped fangs when the spider heaved its mouth. Fatal Swindler let out a cheery giggle as his eagle-eyes sight caught the glimpse of the spider thrust the fang onto Sayato's neck.

"Have a nice life with your lovely family, Shinjou." Fatal Swindler exclaimed with a cheerful tone.

Eventually, the spider fang deeply landed on Sayato's neck and transfused the green liquid fluidly. The spider vastly dissolved into hundreds of blue sparkles to the sky when the liquid inside the fangs was empty.

Fatal Swindler began to walk away as a gleaming blue light embarked through his body before a massive bluish wave transpired inside this room that vanished faster in split seconds. No physical traces of The Disk Man couldn't be found and left the sleeping family a serene atmosphere in this early night.
